ASACP to Discuss Online Child Protection, More at Virtual XBIZ 2021 Show

LOS ANGELES — ASACP (Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection) Executive Director Tim Henning has announced his participation in next week’s virtual 2021 XBIZ Show.

“ASACP has attended the XBIZ Show since its inception,” Henning said. “This popular event attracts an elite audience of stakeholders allowing ASACP to reach numerous decision-makers who can make a real difference in protecting children online.”

“The XBIZ Show covers all segments of the adult industry, providing a broad range of opportunities for spreading our message,” he explained. “It is a great way for ASACP to begin its yearly fundraising and sponsorship drives, and to engage different audiences than we might at other events.”

Henning will present a seminar on Monday, January 11, from 5-6 p.m. (PST) titled, “A Quarter Century of Positive Change” which will explore how companies can better protect themselves from risks associated with user-generated content (UGC), tackling the subject from a child protection standpoint.

The presentation will feature a message from Roi Carthy, CMO of the association’s newest Title Sponsor, online toxicity detection platform L1ght.com.

On Tuesday, January 12, from 5-6 p.m. (PST), Henning will join the workshop hosted by Segpay titled, “Best Practices for Managing User Uploaded Content” which will examine how UGC and child protection are impacting the payment processing space for website operators and app publishers

Henning will then participate in the “State of the Industry” panel on Wednesday, January 13, from 5-6 p.m. (PST) which is set to examine the trends shaping the future of adult digital media, including renewed threats of an escalating “War on Porn” and the huge responsibility that companies in this marketspace face in regards to protecting minors.

Throughout the week, he will meet with “current and prospective sponsors in XBIZ’s Virtual Business Lounge,” noted a rep, “where he will be available to discuss how modern media and service providers can do their part to further online child protection — and why it is so important to support the association today.”

“ASACP will also receive prominent exposure on the event website and media coverage, providing valued recognition for the association at this elite gathering of adult industry professionals,” added the rep.

Henning noted how “XBIZ’s longtime support of the association helps us carry out our mission.”
