Eldorado Trading Celebrates Jeff Waterstreet's 45th Year With Company

BROOMFIELD, Colo. — Eldorado Trading Company is celebrating account manager Jeff Waterstreet’s 45th year with the XBIZ Award-winning pleasure products distributor.

Waterstreet began working for Eldorado in 1977, packing orders in the warehouse for the company’s original Boulder location. He worked his way up to a sales position, selling smoking products before Eldorado shifted its focus to pleasure products in 1989.

“I’ve known Jeff since my 20s. Jeff’s commitment to his work has been integral to Eldorado’s success over the years,” said Eldorado CEO Wanda Garland. “He has navigated Eldorado’s growth and industry changes, yet never lost his sense of humor or his delight for storytelling. There is nobody else quite like him and we wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Waterstreet offered some advice for those new to the pleasure products industry.

“Don’t sweat the small stuff,” he said. “Don’t badmouth your competitors. Be honest and upfront with your customers.”

Eldorado celebrated the occasion by presenting a commemorative plaque to Waterstreet, who says he may retire in the next year — though according to a rep, he’s been saying that “for the last 10 years.”
