MIAMI — Cuban performer Angelina Castro is starring in her first mainstream film, “Havana Stories — (La Operatcion Payret).”
Directed by Eliecer Jiménez Almeid and co-starring Carlos Acosta-Milian and Susana Perez, the movie will be screened at the Miami Film Festival March 3-12.
“How amazing is it that after all these years of appearances on mainstream TV, that I finally landed a part in a mainstream movie,” said Castro. “Spoiler Alert — I don’t even take off my clothes in the movie.”
