Lioness Launches 'Sexperiments' Project

OAKLAND, Calif. — Sextech pleasure brand Lioness is launching a new, monthly project, “Sexperiments,” to study various aspects of female sexuality.

The company will use force sensors on its smart vibrator to collect orgasm data from volunteers, with monthly experiments testing different variables, such as edging, using cannabis and drinking caffeine, among others. The inaugural experiment will collect data on orgasms from women wearing socks versus being in their bare feet.

“Using force sensors and an intuitive mobile app, Lioness users will be able to ‘Do It for Science’ and engage with their orgasm data in a whole new way,” said a rep. “Upon completion of their monthly sexperiment, the company will build off of its popular 2023 Pleasure Wrapped data drop and release collective findings and how they compare to the tested population. It’s like a science fair for adults with the potential to gain more research and understanding of orgasms and arousal.”

Added CEO Anna Lee, “In 2024, there is still a significant lack of research on female sexual function. We are continuing our mission and taking matters into our own hands and encouraging our users to do ‘it’ for science.”
