Digital Playground Debuts Ricky Greenwood's Latest Feature 'Dirty Cops'

LOS ANGELES — Digital Playground has debuted its latest feature, “Dirty Cops,” a new four-part title directed by Ricky Greenwood.

Amateur officers Bishop (Nicole Kitt) and Jones (Alex Jones) need to prove themselves in the dog-eat-dog world of the police force, but they might be biting off more than they can chew. The mysterious kidnapping of a fellow officer reveals some shady business going on behind the scenes. The plot thickens as Detective Harris (Jennifer White) is suspected to be working on the wrong side of the law, led by none other than the illicit crime boss Gibbs (Scott Nails).

Meanwhile the seductive Cindy (Connie Perignon) and her accomplice Gigi (Xwife Karen) manage to escape the prison assisted by a friend on the inside, Officer Baker (Jmac). There’s only one way Bishop and Jones can prove themselves to the big dogs, Chief Warren (Penny Barber) and prosecutor Hopkins (Isiah Maxwell). Going rogue and catching Gibbs and Harris in the act. It’s a classic case of good cop vs bad cop, but who will win?

“We couldn’t be happier with Dirty Cops,” enthuses a studio rep. “We wanted to do a tense, gritty cop thriller, and knew Ricky Greenwood was the man for the job. Everyone gave stellar performances and really committed to their characters, especially Nicole, Jennifer, Alex and Scott as our main roles. The result is undeniably thrilling and action-packed.”

Ricky Greenwood shared his excitement about the action-packed project.

“Dirty Cops was a very cool project, the cast was perfect for this movie – everyone gave it their all.” Greenwood said. “ It was like being part of all the action movies we grew up on and Digital Playground gave us the opportunity to go all in. The action sequences, the fight scene between Scott and Alex, the kick ass one-liners from Nicole and Jennifer, everything was great. I hope the audience will have has much fun watching it and as we did making it.”
