Mick Blue Wins National Auto Sport Association Racing Championship

LAGUNA SECA, Calif. — Reigning XBIZ Male Performer of the Year Mick Blue took first place at the National Auto Sport Association TT6 event on Sunday, becoming the national champion for that category, in a car sponsored by Bad Dragon.

The decorated adult performer, who has pursued a parallel career as a noted race car driver, also came in fourth in the ST6 class at the 16th annual NASA Championships, which took place this weekend at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey County, California.

Blue also competed in the class spec E30 on Sunday, charging from starting spot P30 to a P10 finish in the rain, placing as best SoCal E30 racer and earning him the Hard Charger award.

Finally, Blue competed in the NASA WERC six-and-a-half-hour Endurance Championship with team Black Swan Research, coming in third.

Launched in 2006, the NASA Championships is “one of the marquee events of the National Auto Sport Association,” a rep noted.

The championship event provides NASA racers around the country with “the definitive platform for showcasing their driving talent, their attention to detail and their devotion to the sport.”

A visibly moved Blue, who has been racing since 2017, told XBIZ that his performance at this year’s NASA Championship is “the biggest accomplishment I have reached in my racing career and it means the world to me.”

Blue drove a 1987 BMW 325i E30, painted with the logos of sponsoring pleasure product company Bad Dragon.
