Ron Jeremy Psych Hearing Now Postponed to Late July

Ron Jeremy Psych Hearing Now Postponed to Late July

LOS ANGELES — The trial of Ron Jeremy has been postponed once again after the latest hearing at the mental health courthouse earlier this week resulted in a continuation until July 27.

Jeremy’s attorney Stuart Goldfarb, who participated in the postponement hearing on Tuesday, informed XBIZ of the new date.

The criminal case has been at a standstill since presiding Judge George Lomeli’s March 17 decision to suspended proceedings after he received reports from Goldfarb and the bailiff that the defendant was “incoherent” and could not be transported to court.

As XBIZ reported, Judge Lomeli then referred the case to a mental health courthouse for a decision on Jeremy’s ability to stand trial. The judge recommended that psychiatrists on each side conduct evaluations to determine competency.

Jeremy is currently awaiting trial in Los Angeles, where he has remained in jail following his arrest in June 2020.

After an Aug. 2021 grand jury indictment was returned, Jeremy pled not guilty to 12 counts of forcible rape, seven counts of forcible oral copulation, six counts of sexual battery by restraint, four counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object, two counts of sexual penetration of an unconscious or asleep person and one count each of lewd act upon a child under the age of 14 or 15, sodomy by use of force and assault with intent to commit rape.

Last year, XBIZ published an exclusive detailed account of the 21 accusations that form the Los Angeles County district attorney’s case against Jeremy. It remains the only comprehensive journalistic account of the testimonies given before the grand jury in Aug. 2021.

Adrien Lastic Unveils Plus-Size Intimate Apparel, Entry-Level Kink Collections

BARCELONA — Pleasure products brand Adrien Lastic is now taking preorders for two new collections featuring body-positive intimate apparel and entry-level bondage essentials.

Joining the manufacturer’s established family of brands — including Alive, Femintimate and SilexD — both collections are “aligned with the company’s commitment to creative and healthy sexual expression while recognizing unique differences in consumer lifestyles,” a rep said.

Moonlight is described as “a contemporary line offering sleek, off-the-shoulder bodysuits, skintight maxi dresses and curve-enhancing teddies,” noted the rep. Sized from 10-18, the line integrates “fashion-forward, modern clubwear with intricate lingerie accents” such as embellishments that include rhinestones, lace patterns, linear stripes and sheer mesh fabrics.

Sizes 00 and up will be released in the U.S. in September.

In addition to an inclusive range of sizes, Moonlight’s boxed packaging product shots exclusively feature models with curvy body types and melanated skin tones.

CNEX, parent company of Adrien Lastic, has tapped Jackie Richerson, VP of operations and sales, and Johanna Weston, director of North American sales, to “contribute their combined expertise in retail sales, familiarity with niche market trends and their own lived experiences as longtime consumers of sexywear and kink products.”

“On a personal level,” Richerson noted, “we understand how sizing and fit can make or break self-confidence with different types of clothing, particularly intimate apparel. It can be difficult to feel empowered in a piece that you either can’t envision yourself wearing, or a piece that just doesn’t hug your body the way you had imagined.

“It was important for us to offer sizes and styles that a wide number of lingerie consumers can feel sexy in, as well as employ models who represent more authentic body shapes and skin tones that aren’t often represented or considered, historically speaking, within apparel design — especially in the adult industry,” she continued.

The new kink collection joins Adrien Lastic’s Alive brand and includes a breathable silicone ball gag, adjustable leg harness, rubber anal douches in three sizes and jeweled metal plugs in three sizes. Rounding out the intro kink collection is a 10-piece BDSM kit comprising kinky dice, a nylon leash with detachable collar, nylon shibari rope, lace blindfold, adjustable nipple clamps, a vegan leather flogger, flat paddle and padded wrist and ankle restraints.

Richerson revealed she and Weston, the company’s self-described “weird girls,” convinced their boss to try on the ball gag.

“It demonstrated safety and comfort to an inexperienced individual,” she said. “He approved.”

Weston explained that she and Richerson “identify as lifestyle kinksters.”

“We understand that navigating the shopping experience as an entry-level consumer can be a complex or confusing process because we were there at one point ourselves,” she said. “Once you find what you may be looking for, the next step is to determine if the products will be a safe and high-quality investment. These premium BDSM products aim to eliminate that guesswork for the entry-level consumer, which will help retailers achieve success as well.”

She noted the line has generated “solid traction in the European market, and we anticipate these specific items will resonate with U.S. consumers. For example, we believe the addition of anal douches will help bring preparation and comfort to the forefront of anal play, as opposed to an afterthought. Our goal for the bondage collection is to position Adrien Lastic as the go-to, trusted option for beginner-friendly staples.”

Verified account holders may now place preorders on the CNEX B2B portal.

Both collections will officially launch in July during ANME, where the company will be exhibiting at booth 101. For additional product information, training resources, or to schedule a meeting during ANME, contact jricherson@cnexusa.com or jweston@cnexusa.com.

Delphine Releases ‘Snoop Around’ With Kira Noir, David Lee

Delphine Releases 'Snoop Around' With Kira Noir, David Lee

LOS ANGELES — Kira Noir and David Lee headline “Snoop Around” from newly launched studio Delphine Films.

Directed by Bloomer Yang, the action opens with Noir playing a hotel maid tending to Lee’s room.

“While cleaning, she notices his underwear on top of the furniture. She knows no one is watching,” a rep said. “Quickly, she closes the door, smells the underwear and starts touching herself. She finds his scent intoxicating and starts fantasizing about them together until she reaches her first climax. She stops immediately when David opens the door. Walking through the hallways of the hotel, she realizes something important — she left her panties behind. What she doesn’t know is that her fantasies are about to become reality.”

Yang noted the “palpable” chemistry between his leads. “They worked together before and they have a great friendship. It was truly a wonderful experience working with both of them,” he said.

“I was trying to create a psychological thriller vibe, combined with the style of a music video,” the director continued. “I imagined all the little dirty thoughts people would think about, but never do, and one of them is to snoop around people’s belongings.”

“I like to say I’m a descendant of Cupid because I’m a sucker for chemistry,” Johnson explained. “When Chanell and Mazee stepped into my room, the chemistry was beyond bows and arrows. It was off-the-charts. These two could not get enough of each other, and luckily, we didn’t miss a thing.”

“Mazee and I shared amazing chemistry,” she continued. “And having direction from Ricky himself was really dope. The set, the scene and my costar were perfection. Alison Rey Guests On 'Stripped by Sia' Podcast

LOS ANGELES — Alison Rey guests on the “Stripped by Sia” podcast, hosted by Steph Sia.

“Stripped by Sia” centers on strippers and sex workers and aims to educate the masses about sex work. A goal of the show is to provide a “safe space for sex workers and service providers to speak about their experiences — the good, the bad and the ugly — with an effort to normalize and de-stigmatize these professions,” a rep explained.

In her appearance, Rey talks about going from performing to producing, then back to performing, sharing her insight on the modern adult film industry.

Rey debunks some myths about squirting and performers using enhancements, discusses struggling with impostor syndrome, shifting life goals and letting go of things that no longer serve you.

“Alison was very candid about her journey, as well as enlightening us about what she calls ‘ethical porn.’ It’s a packed episode that really gives us insight on how the industry works from someone who has been both in front of and behind the camera,” a rep added.

Rey praised her experience.

“Steph Sia is an incredible conversationalist and dares to go beyond the typical subject matter for an interview with a porn star,” she commented. “We talked about some of the real issues in the industry, and it was refreshing to have a nuanced conversation about them, rather than being pigeonholed into a conversation that perpetuates the stigma around it.”

The host noted Rey is “a true professional.”

“Not only is she a well-known figure in the industry, but she is also completely down-to-earth, an extremely knowledgeable resource, and tells it like it is. I really enjoyed our conversation together and feel like everyone will have a takeaway from this episode.”

Online Sexual Health Care Platform ‘Píque’ Launches

LOS ANGELES — The new online platform Píque has launched, offering sexual health solutions, sex therapy and prescriptions like vaginal estrogen.

Píque, a rep noted, was “founded on the belief that all women deserve great sex as an integral part of living a healthy, fulfilling life.”

The platform will take an integrated approach that offers medical expertise combined with a focus on mental, physical, hormonal and social factors to offer patients holistic, personalized care, the rep added.

“While there are many solutions to treat erectile dysfunction, and the market is projected to reach almost $5 billion by 2026, there are few medical equivalents for women and the women’s reproductive and sexual health market remains in its infancy,” the rep continued. “Oftentimes sexual health discourse is limited to toys, lubes and lingerie, causing women to feel alone in their struggles, insecure and unsure of where they can obtain answers to their sexual health issues.”

Billed as a “digital health clinic,” Píque aims “to provide a suite of solutions for every chapter of a woman’s sexual journey, starting with menopause, and help address concerns from painful sex, vaginal dryness and low libido, to helping women build confidence, maintain strong intimate relationships, overcome sexual trauma and beyond.”

Founder and CEO Leslie Busick explained that Píque is “empowering women to celebrate their desires and embrace them as a fundamental pillar for a happy, healthy life.”

“By providing prescriptions, mental health support, resources and more, we can support women as they progress in their sexual health journey so they can build a deeper relationship not only with their partners, but with themselves,” she said.

Busick hopes the brand will help to destigmatize the sexual health category and give women the power to take control of their health, pleasure and well-being.

New patients, the rep noted, “begin their Píque journey with a complimentary introductory session with a nurse practitioner who specializes in sexual health and creates a custom care plan that may include different types of vaginal estrogen, sex and relationship counseling services, suggested lifestyle changes and recommended resources from Píque’s library. Patients are able to track their progress with the Female Sexual Function Index, a standardized sexual health quiz to measure sexual function in women.”

VC firm Maveron recently led a recent $4-million seed round for Píque. Maveron partner Anarghya Vardhana said the firm is thrilled to back the Píque team “as they take on a huge category of women’s sexual health.”

“The need to support women throughout their reproductive and sexual journey, including during menopause, is more pressing than ever before,” Vardhana noted. “A full-stack solution that combines clinical-level care with mental health and the convenience of a direct-to-consumer brand is exactly what we were looking for in the space, and is precisely Píque’s approach. Every woman entering menopause should feel empowered and supported; we are excited to support Píque as they go after this audacious and important opportunity.”

Píque’s clinical care team is led by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ashley Winter, a Weill Cornell-trained board-certified urologist who specializes in sexual medicine.

Píque is “reimagining women’s health care at scale, spearheading a future where women can get the personalized, approachable and effective care they need,” Winter shared. “I am thrilled to partner with Leslie to bring light to this underserved subject matter and use Píque’s platform to shift the narrative around women’s sexual health to reach and serve more women.”
