Dreanna Dream Crowned MackMovies ‘Model of the Month’

LOS ANGELES — Dreanna Dream has been crowned the MackMovies.com “Model of the Month” for December with several new spotlight scenes to be released throughout the month.

Her coronation follows Darcy Diamond (September), Mistress T (October) and Katy Jayne (November).

“Dreanna, who hails from an island off the coast of Canada, started her career as an exotic dancer at local clubs before becoming a featured entertainer,” a rep said. “It was this initial exposure to the adult industry that led her to begin to look for opportunities within Canada to work in front of the camera.”

The performer enthused about the recognition.

“I applied for Samantha Mack’s ‘Porno Boot Camp’ with the hopes of becoming a Mack Model, and after my first online interview and assessment with Samantha, she fast-tracked me to working nearly immediately,” Dream explained.

Since then, she has filmed for VRBangers, MILFVR, LoveHerFeetVR and HoloGirlsVR as well as for Mack Movies.

“This has been such an amazing experience,” Dream said. “I’m so flattered and thrilled that my hard work, time and dedication has landed me in such an amazing place. I’m so excited to be named ‘Model of the Month’ for December and I am thrilled to see all of the content I’ve created with Samantha and her team, who go above and beyond to make me feel like a superstar.”

“I am extremely honored and blessed to be able to work with such an amazing team of professionals here in Canada,” she added.

Mack noted the discovery of numerous Canadian newcomers through her Porno Boot Camp.

The discoveries “have quickly propelled from clip sites to international mainstream productions and as featured performers on MackMovies.com, all of which have helped to strengthen the studio’s brand and identity,” she said.

“With the help of industry veteran and Canadian producer/director Anna Lee of 2049 Entertainment,” she continued, “we have been able to build an amazing pocket of the industry north of the border with these performers, which have resulted in numerous award nominations over the years, including three nominations for ‘Best VR Sex Scene’ from the 2022 XBIZ awards, all of which feature Mack Models and Porno Boot Camp alumni.”

“Dreanna is exactly what our Mack Movies fans crave. She’s an incredibly glamorous MILF with endless good-girl appeal, until the camera pans out and her elaborate tattoos let you know she has a naughty side,” Mack noted. “She is the perfect blend of naughty and nice.”

Her first spotlight scene is “The Tattooed Neighbor,” directed, shot and edited by Lee; click here for details.

Direct Models to Regain Temporary License After Legal Victory

LOS ANGELES — A Los Angeles administrative judge has ordered the California Labor Commissioner to issue a provisional 90-day talent agency license to Direct Models, after the adult agency succeeded in its legal battle against the state official.

Judge Howard W. Cohen of the Office of Administrative Hearings also found that “the Commissioner’s denial without supporting evidence of a provisional license or a series of provisional licenses” until a decision on a separate case concerning the company’s regular license has been made “is and will continue to be an abuse of discretion.”

According to court documents, Direct Models was licensed as a talent agency in California from February 3, 2005 until March 30, 2021. The company received yearly renewals of its license without incident until August 21, 2018. On that date, the agency attempted to renew its license but the application was denied by the Labor Commissioner.

Instead, on October 16, 2018 the Labor Commissioner issued a 60-day temporary license. Then, on November 16, the then-Commissioner served a Statement of Issues to Direct Models to justify the refusal to issue a regular license. On July 23, 2019, the Statement of Issues was filed with the Office of Administrative Hearings.

That Statement of Issues is at the core of the separate case which is currently being litigated. From late 2018 until March 2021, while that case was proceeding, the Labor Commissioner issued renewals of Direct Models’ temporary license. Then, in April 2021, the Commissioner suddenly denied the temporary license application, prompting the legal battle that ended last Monday with the publication of the September 22 decision by Judge Cohen in favor of Direct Models.

‘Abuse of Discretion’

“The stinging 15-page decision found that the Labor Commissioner abused her discretion when the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement made the sudden move not to issue Direct Models another license effective April 1, 2021,” said an agency rep.

“In April 2021, after nearly 30 months of provisional licenses, the DLSE abruptly and capriciously reversed course,” the rep continued. “Although there were no changes in the licensing process, circumstances, or situation, and although the hearing guaranteed Direct Models was still months away, DLSE arbitrarily refused to issue another provisional license. That action constituted an improper de facto suspension of Direct Models’ Talent Agent License. It effectively terminated the agency’s license for at least six months, and denied it the right to continue conducting business as a talent agency, all without any showing or adjudication of wrongdoing or unsuitability for licensure.”

According to the Direct Models rep, “the Labor Commissioner was represented at the OAH hearing by Barton Jacka, an attorney with the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, who mentioned on the record that it was he who made the decision to stop issuing licenses to Direct Models in April 2021.”

Direct Models’ attorney Richard Freeman commented, “We are extremely pleased that the erudite Administrative Law Judge recognized that the Labor Commissioner acted arbitrarily and capriciously in April 2021 when she refused to issue a continuing — the 21st — Provisional License while the administrative process that the Labor Commissioner herself had initiated was pending. We appreciate that the ALJ saw the actions of the Labor Commissioner as a clear abuse of her discretion.”

“It is indeed gratifying that the Labor Commissioner has been ordered to issue a further license to Direct Models as it combats her efforts to revoke its permanent license,” Freeman continued. “We feel this is a positive sign of the good things to come for the agency as well as anyone doing business in California.”

Afghanistan: When Religious Zealots Win, Porn Just Goes Underground

KABUL, Afghanistan — A new report by MIT’s prestigious Technology Review shows how sexual expression and adult content continue to exist as an underground phenomenon when religious zealots impose their views on the general population.

Much like religious groups in the United States, the Taliban has condemned all sexual expression and adult material online. Whenever it has seized power, it has also effected laws and regulations to achieve its goal of eradicating such material.

The in-depth Technology Review report by Ruchi Kumar explained that “less than 20 years after former president Hamid Karzai made Afghanistan’s first mobile phone call, there are nearly 23 million mobile phone users in a country of fewer than 39 million people. But internet access is a different matter: by early 2021, there were fewer than 9 million internet users, a lag that has been largely attributed to widespread physical security problems, high costs, and a lack of infrastructural development across the country’s mountainous terrain.”

That gap is bridged in Afghanistan by men known as “computer kars,” described by Kumar as “someone who sells digital content by hand in a country where a steady internet connection can be hard to come by.”

“I sell pretty much everything, from movies, music, mobile applications, to iOS updates. I also help create Apple IDs and social media accounts, and with backing up phones and recovering data,” a 21-year-old kar told the reporter. “I can also unlock [stolen] phones and provide other naughty videos.”

An Informal Union of Offline Content Providers

But as the Taliban finalized its takeover of the central Asian nation in August, the kar had to take precautions.

“He began erasing some of the sensitive data on his computer and moving the rest onto two of his largest hard drives, which he then wrapped in a layer of plastic and buried underground at an undisclosed location,” the reporter explained.

When he felt things were getting tense in his town, the kar told Kumar, “me and other computer kars of Mazar who work together held a secret meeting to decide what to do to protect all our content.”

“Among them, the informal union of computer kars had several hundred terabytes of data collected over several years, and much of it would be considered controversial — even criminal — by the Taliban,” the article recounted.

“We all agreed to not delete, but rather hide the more nefarious content,” the kar said. “We reasoned that in Afghanistan, these regimes come and go frequently, but our business should not be disrupted. People are hiding guns, money, jewelry, and whatnot, so I am not scared of hiding my hard drives.”

“I am a 21st-century boy, and most Taliban are living in the past,” the kar added.

A Mirror for the Western ‘War on Porn’

The situation described by the Technology Review article is a preview of what can happen when a religious minority with repressive ideas about sexual expression manages to seize control of the legislative process.

The future desired by religiously motivated and like-minded groups like NCOSE, Exodus Cry, Fight the New Drug and other organizations with an avowed mission to “eradicate all pornography” is already a reality in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan. As the article shows, such censorship inevitably results in a network of “bootleggers”  like the computer kars, craftily hiding hard drives and operating a black market of the kind of sexual content and information that the adult public in a free society has already shown they want to be able to access.

NEW JERSEY — Aria Khaide is releasing a new POV/cuck direct-to-OnlyFans clip and plans to attend Exxxotica D.C. this weekend.

The clip will be available Wednesday to subscribers and features Khaide with Peter King using her mouth as much for dirty talk as for a blowjob. MONTREAL — Adult Time’s “True Lesbian” series is back in production with the release of “Bad Reputation” starring April Olsen and Jane Wilde.

The series is focused on “realistic sex between women and stories inspired by real experiences,” noted a rep.

Written and directed by Bree Mills, the featurette casts Olsen as Sarah, “a high-achieving student who opens her eyes to a sexual awakening under the guidance of rebellious new friend Andy (Wilde),” the rep said.

Olsen enthused about her experience filming “Bad Reputation.”

“Every time I walk off a Bree Mills set, I feel so proud of the work I’m doing and grateful that I have found myself under her direction,” Olsen said. “This episode of ‘True Lesbian’ was no different — she takes time with the actors to see her vision, and to create a script that feels natural to everyone. That leadership paired with the red-hot performance of Jane is going to make for an exceptional scene.”

Wilde added that she “absolutely loved shooting this scene with April.”

“I’m so excited for everyone to see it. This was my first time back working with Bree in quite a while, and it was a great reunion,” she added. “I really enjoy Bree’s attention to detail, and I think it’s going to pay off heavily when everyone watches ‘Bad Reputation.’ If you like lots of passion and truth in your porn, then you will love this scene.”

Mills, who also serves as the CCO of Adult Time, echoed the enthusiasm of her leading ladies.

“Jane is one of my all-time favorite actresses to work with, so being able to reunite with her was fantastic and marked the beginning of several projects we’ve collaborated on this fall,” the director said. “She was the one to recommend bringing in April as a costar and I am so grateful she did. Since getting to meet April on this shoot, we have also worked together for a handful of other Adult Time projects and I think she is going to be a true force in our industry. Very happy to help both of these talented, amazing women shine in projects they feel passionate about.”
