Kheper Games Debuts ‘Scents to Fuck By…’ Line of Sticks and Oils

Kheper Games Debuts 'Scents to Fuck By...' Line of Sticks and Oils

SEATTLE — Kheper Games has unveiled its new line of scented sticks and oils, Scents to Fuck By…

“The line of scented stick and oils follows the popular mainstream trend for this new style of room fresheners,” said a rep. “Where Kheper, Inc. differs with their line is that theirs are meant to be elegantly displayed on a nightstand or elsewhere in the boudoir.”

The company is offering three scents — Hey Stud! is a “manly musk,” Naughty Nympho is lavender and eucalyptus-scented, and Booty Call has a vanilla and bourbon aroma.

“The way this concept works; is you unwrap the set of six reeds from their packaging, open the bottle top, and insert reeds into the perfumed oil,” the rep continued. “After a few minutes of them soaking in the oil, you flip the reeds over and spread them out. This creates a lasting fragrance that can freshen up the room it is in for months. Whenever you wish to increase the scent, all you do is flip the reeds over, so the sides that have been soaking, now freshly fill the room with their aroma.”

Kheper CEO Brian Pellham enthused about the new products.

“We have always followed trends and are thrilled to offer sexier adult versions of this one,” he said. “We targeted one male, one female, and the Booty Call one is gender neutral. I fell in love with the concept after watching cheesy sitcoms reruns and seeing how often couples seem to be catching their bedrooms on fire by knocking over candles when they get hot and heavy. It makes sense to have an alternative that doesn’t need to be blown out after an exhausting night of passionate love making.”

Wicked Releases 2nd Installment of Seth Gamble’s ‘Privilege’

Wicked Releases 2nd Installment of Seth Gamble's 'Privilege'

LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures has released the second scene from “Privilege,” the new series from Gamma exclusive contract performer/director and 2023 XBIZ Director of the Year and Male Performer of the Year nominee Seth Gamble.

Created and directed by Gamble as his follow-up to “Deranged,” the series is also produced by Wicked Head of Production Axel Braun. The new scene features Vanna Bardot and Ryan Driller, and is the second of eight scenes in a story described as “a gripping drama set in the Machiavellian world of the megarich.”

“Privilege” tells the story of towering family patriarch Alexander Nash (Evan Stone), who rules his family with an iron fist but has a soft spot for his youngest daughter (April Olsen). He’s in the middle of a huge deal that he can’t let anyone sabotage, from his duplicitous ex-wife (Lexi Luna) to his gold-digging new bride (Julia Ann), who has her eye on his money and on his beloved son Liam (Nathan Bronson).

Meanwhile, Nash’s other son, Lucas (Lucky Fate), a compulsive gambler, puts the entire family empire in jeopardy through sheer ineptitude. As Alexander’s personal saga unfolds, the torrid sex lives of his family come to light in a chain of events that will expose more dirty laundry than they ever bargained for.

“When I started writing ‘Privilege,’ I asked myself, ‘what makes telling a story in a series form so memorable and gratifying to watch?’ The answer came down to the way in which the format has the cinematic feel of a movie, but with multiple opportunities to explore the emotions and motivations of the individual characters,” said Gamble. “The result is a work with the substance to stand on its own, along with the time to expand on the plot and, especially, the characters. You become invested in the story, and especially in the characters who are driving it.”

Bardot enthused about working with Gamble.

“Working on this project was such an amazing experience,” she said. “Seth is truly such a visionary director, from the way he gives direction to pairing talent and so much more. Both of my sex scenes in the movie were such a thrill in their own ways, very much like what my character was going through. This is without a doubt one of the projects that I truly look forward to watching.”

The second episode of “Privilege” premieres today exclusively on Wicked.com.

CLEAR Partners With MPOWERR for Testing in Atlanta Area

ATLANTA — CLEAR has teamed up with MPOWERR Health & Wellness to provide testing for performers in the Atlanta area.

The partnership, which was formalized this week, will begin providing testing on Tuesday.

“MPOWERR’s founder, Taurus Jerelds, has been doing an amazing job making testing available in Atlanta, but they struggled with turnaround times and making it more accessible to the performer community in the area,” said CLEAR CEO Humberto Buniotto. “From our very first call with Taurus we knew we were aligning ourselves with someone who puts community, accessibility and affordability first, which is what CLEAR is all about.”

CLEAR will operate in the background as a reference lab. Performers can still book directly through MPOWERR.

“Public health and infectious disease control have been my passion for the last 19 years,” said Jerelds. “My mission and vision as an epidemiologist and owner of a non-profit healthcare organization were to serve communities and populations in need; that did not exclude the sex work industry. Here at MPOWERR, we are committed to finding ways to provide effective and efficient healthcare services to all people, regardless of their ability to pay. I think this partnership will be the catalyst of an exciting and much-needed journey to reach the masses.”

Maitland Ward Discusses ‘Fame,’ Her Directorial Debut for Vixen Media Group

LOS ANGELES — Maitland Ward has made her directorial debut with “Fame,” a new scene for Vixen Media Group’s Blacked, co-starring Ward and Isiah Maxwell.

Ward, who also scripted the scene, plays an actress confronting the challenges of celebrity culture and finding eventual solace in the sturdy arms of a trusted bodyguard.

Released today, the scene is being hailed by the studio as the first behind-the-camera outing for “fan favorite” Ward, a multiple XBIZ Award winner and 2022 Performer of the Year. Beyond the adult industry, she is known for her mainstream acting career in shows like “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “Boy Meets World,” and the movie “White Chicks.” Most recently, Ward became a bestselling author with her memoir, “X-Rated.”

Ward has described “Fame” as an example of “art imitating life,” a lived-in tale of red carpets and paparazzi that overtly riffs on her real-life celebrity status.

The performer-writer-director and contract star for VMG’s Deeper spoke exclusively with XBIZ about the project and her experience as a budding auteur.

“I am very proud of my directorial and writing debut for Blacked, the first of several scenes I have coming out within the Vixen Media Group universe in the near future,” she revealed.

Since “Fame” was, in Ward’s words, her “first jump into the pond,” she says she stuck close to what she knew after decades of being in the media glare. But unlike this year’s multi-nominated “Drift” — the Kayden Kross-helmed featured where Ward stars as a funhouse-mirror version of herself — “Fame” depicts a different aspect of what Lady Gaga once called “the fame monster.”

“I wrote ‘Fame’ not about my actual life,” Ward explains, “but about fame and what I’ve experienced in all my years in showbiz — people chasing you and trying to take you down and paparazzi and everything coming at you hard, from all directions. I wanted to do a twist on that by also showing the story as seen by Isiah’s character, who is my bodyguard.”

In “Fame,” Ward’s actress protagonist has become mired in a tabloid scandal.

“It’s all over the press,” she explains. “As the scene begins, you could say I’ve done ‘bad things.’ And of course, TMZ is after me,” she laughs, adding that noted digital creator Liam Riley has a featured non-sex role as her head media inquisitor.

Maxwell plays the beleaguered actress’ bodyguard, trying to shield her from the intense scrutiny of the predatory shutterbugs and harassing gossip bloggers.

“My character has flings with my bodyguards, but Isiah has always been the one who’s kind of aloof, and he’s this presence that I’m enamored by,” Ward continues. “And he takes care of me, but there’s something very mysterious about him. And then that fateful day, the mystery comes into my life, like it’s some sort of force that I need to kind of protect me into escaping all the chaos I’ve created.”

Without giving the story away, Ward teases that Maxwell takes her to a premiere, and when people are hunting her, whisks her off in a car. She pauses, smiles mischievously. “And eventually, you know, we have this … rendezvous.”

‘I Caught the Directing Bug’

The novice director says she is immensely thankful to her producers at VMG, who ensured her first-time vision went uncompromised by budgetary constraints.

“It’s funny — when I was writing it, I put things in like fast cars and big sets and all this luxurious stuff I imagined. And when I arrived and saw it up on its feet, I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I did put that stuff there!’ Like I wrote part where Isaiah picks me up and throws me around and we knock over like all this breakable glass in this hotel room that I’m holed up in, hiding away from the press and everything. And having Vixen behind me, they can and do put everything into it! So I had all this breakable glass, I had these hot cars, I had these sets. It was really amazing to see it all come to life. It’s like you’re just planning for something and then it all comes together and I can see what the thrill of that is. I caught the directing bug for sure.”

Although Ward worked within the thematic and stylistic tropes of the Blacked brand, she also says she tried to infuse it with “sort of a Deeper vibe,” especially in terms of the writing and the acting.

“I definitely wanted it to be true to the audience who watches Blacked, but I think it’s also different and fun, because it’s kind of cheeky, and sort of about my past and my acting career and all that stuff,” she elaborates.

A Wink to Her ‘Wardiors’ Fandom

Ward says “Fame” can also be seen as a wink to her legion of fans and people who follow her career closely.

“My hardcore fans know that ‘Blacked’ is where I really started with my first pro scene, before my Deeper contract, so it’s kind of like a full-circle moment in that way, which I could never have imagined when I did that very first scene in 2019.”

There’s another, more personal wink to her sex work beginnings.

“I thought it would be a really cool idea to have Isaiah be the bodyguard,” she confesses, explaining that “Fame” offers a kind of twist on the protagonists of the 1992 Hollywood movie, “The Bodyguard.”

“Isiah was the first person who I really worked with when I started making my own content, before shooting professional porn,” she says. “And he’s been so supportive of me in my porn journey. It was amazing to come so full-circle with ‘Fame.’ I mean, I gave him my first on-screen blowjob and look where we are!”

Streamate Spotlights Steph Sia as December ‘Elevate’ Community Partner

LOS ANGELES — Streamate has selected content creator and podcaster Steph Sia as its December Elevate Community Partner.

The Elevate initiative aims to recognize members and allies of the adult industry “working to positively impact their community through advocacy, direct support and/or creative endeavors,” said a rep.

Sia is the fourth Community Partner since the initiative launched.

Sia started in adult as a sugar baby after a friend suggested she join an online platform,” the rep continued. “From there, she became a stripper but quickly elevated to a feature dancer with regional popularity. In 2019, Sia launched her podcast, Stripped by SIA, focusing on destigmatizing the sex industry. She has interviewed hundreds of industry people, including sex workers, business execs, directors, clients, and activists.”

Community Partners are spotlighted for a one-month period and given the opportunity to collaborate with Elevate on original content and/or livestream events.

“I chose to align myself with Streamate’s Elevate initiative because it’s a program that celebrates sex workers and their achievements,” said Sia. “Too many times, we, as sex workers, are ridiculed for the work that we do and are not taken seriously. Finally, a major platform (as a whole) is choosing to highlight those who are making a difference in our community, to pave the way, and to amplify our voices when, often, they are erased.”

Streamate Director of Community Relations and Elevate creator Vanessa Eve praised Sia’s work.

“Steph caught our attention through her industry-focused podcast, Stripped by SIA, which tackles topics that work toward destigmatizing and, more importantly, humanizing different facets of sex work and the people who work in the sex industry,” she said. “Sometimes, these topics can feel unrelatable if you aren’t already familiar with them or don’t know people who work in adult. Steph does a great job of approaching these conversations from a place of learning through educational resources and informing listeners through diverse personal narratives, making them much more accessible to both industry members and average people (civilians) alike.”

For more information, visit Elevate by Streamate.
