Pennsylvania: GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Rails Against Supposed ‘Pole Dancing and Porn’ in Schools

Pennsylvania: GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Rails Against Supposed 'Pole Dancing and Porn' in Schools

PHILADELPHIA — Doug Mastriano, the Republican nominee for governor of Pennsylvania, told a crowd of vocal supporters at an event last weekend that he would fight “pole dancing and pornography” in the state’s public schools.

“On day one, the sexualization of our kids — pole dancing and all this other crap that is going on — will be forbidden in our schools,” Mastriano told the crowd to rapturous applause.

“All the graphic, pornographic books that are in elementary schools will be pulled out,” Mastriano added.

Political analysis podcast “The David Pakman Show” broke the story and included video of the Mastriano event.

“Of course, there isn’t any pole dancing and pornography in public schools,” Pakman commented on the FreeSpeech.org network blog, “but just by asserting that there is, Mastriano will get a sizable chunk of his supporter base to believe kids are being sexualized and that he’s the only one who can stop it. Doug went on to claim that he will eliminate the teaching of critical race theory in public schools, which is yet another one of these buzz terms for folks on the far right.”

Yesterday, The Atlantic published an article on what the magazine termed Mastriano’s “lunatic appeal.”

A former Philadelphia mayor quoted by The Atlantic called Mastriano “an existential threat to democracy,” but acknowledged that, in today’s political climate, “there’s an appeal to that brand of lunacy.”

‘Maddy May’s Mayhem’: Chris Streams, Titular Star Talk Career-1st Extravaganza Showcase

Evil Angel has a type: hardcore gonzo fanatics. That’s the case whether we’re talking about the fans, the performers who rise to the occasion in power-bangin’ scenes or the firebrand directors who turn the camera lens into a prism capturing and refracting volcanic levels of sexual energy.

Evil Angel’s production roster also frequently features another specialty: performer showcases infused with raunchy artistry, career-first raw action and chemistry-fueled wild sex. So when Maddy May reached out to Evil Angel’s prolific Chris Streams to help her rack up a hefty dose of scintillating firsts, he was happy to oblige.

“Directing and shooting Maddy has always been fun,” Streams shared. “Ever since the first time I shot her for Manuel Ferrara, we just immediately hit it off. Every time after that, we just have more and more fun. Maddy is always saying stuff like, ‘What more can we do to make the scene better?’ So when Maddy texted me and said she was going to do her first DP but really wanted it to be for a showcase and not just a scene, asking whether I would like to shoot it, I responded with an ecstatic, ‘Hell yeah.’”

Thus agreed, the three-time XBIZ Award-nominated May and co-creator Streams joined forces to hammer out ideas for the other three scenes’ themes and sex acts. Having already shot 150 scenes in her two-year career, the Southern belle had plenty of ideas.

“We tossed ideas back and forth and the scenes just kind of fell into this thing where each one would have a look from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s or 2000s,” Streams revealed.

Right from the beginning, May told Streams that she wanted the movie to be something special, with no-holds-barred Evil Angel-style sex but with intros shot and styled differently, so it wasn’t just four “regular” scenes.

“I’m really happy how the whole showcase came out, but I’m most proud of the Maddy and Emma Rose scene as it’s something I don’t get to shoot every day,” Streams remarked, on May’s first foray into working with a trans performer. “I wanted to show these two hot girls frolicking around and then they start kissing, touching and undressing — only to find that Emma has a cock and is ready to devour Maddy.”

For a deeper dive into the aptly titled “Maddy May’s Mayhem,” XBIZ caught up with May, who shed light on her latest endeavors in this exclusive interview.

XBIZ: It’s been a year since we last profiled you. Tell us about your latest career developments, from signing with Spiegler Girls to recent projects of interest.

MAY: I would say “blessed” is an understatement of what I have gotten to experience this past year. After awards season, I was ready to do something big and as the saying goes, “Go big or go home,” right?

I wanted to start with a DP for sure; I had a few offers for it, but I wanted more, of course. I wanted bigger. So I reached out to Chris Streams and Evil Angel to pitch the idea of an all-firsts, one-of-a-kind, unique showcase, from the way it was shot to the custom outfits and locations.

During that process I found a voice inside myself I didn’t know was there. In finding that voice, I knew I wanted management that helped me achieve my dreams as well as nurturing them along the way, and who better to do that than Spiegler? It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I truly feel at home with them.

XBIZ: Having shot for Chris Streams and Evil Angel before, what’s it like working with them on this new showcase?

MAY: I would truly consider myself an “Evil Girl,” so being able to create something of my own with one of my favorite directors and companies was a dream come true, truly. Doing something like this was just dope! I got every talent I wanted for the cast, every outfit was perfect, locations were amazing and the best part is everyone was having fun. It has been such a great experience and something I will remember for the rest of my life. I couldn’t imagine a better team to do it with. It was nothing besides fun, open and I really am thankful to everyone for allowing me to be in control.

XBIZ: Discuss your co-creative director dynamic with Chris for this project. What did you set out to accomplish?

MAY: We set out to create a standout showcase, especially because they are done over and over again, year after year — I didn’t want to just become another showcase that no one remembered in a year or two. I wanted it to literally break the internet. So that’s what we decided to do. The showcase has my first DP, DAP, DVP, airtight, blowbang, gangbang and trans scenes, with custom outfits and A-list talent all the way around.

I was such a nervous wreck at first, not so much for the scenes but because I am very much a perfectionist. I made myself nauseous multiple times just overthinking every little detail. Chris helped so much with that, with keeping me calm and his humorous way of being, I loved it.

XBIZ: What were the visuals and sexual chemistry like for your ’90s-themed roller-skating scene with Isiah Maxwell and Jax Slayher?

MAY: The ’90s theme idea was inspired by the fact I grew up in the ’90s, and the skates were Chris’ idea. Here’s a secret, though: I don’t know how to skate at all! But I did it, thankfully. I had Jax Slayher and Isiah Maxwell there to help hold me upright or I would have busted my ass. Jax and Isiah are two of the sweetest, just purest people I’ve performed with to date. I just adore them so much.

Before we started recording, we were talking and it was actually Isiah who came up with the name for this movie, “Maddy May’s Mayhem.” He gets 100% of the credit.

Performing with them has always been something that leaves me feeling euphoric at the end of it, so I couldn’t fucking wait to have them both together! Plus, it’s really hot to me that I’m so short and they are that much taller than me and can just carry and move me around like I’m nothing.

I also wanted to keep the skates on during the scene because it’s just sexy, but not knowing how to skate, I was limited in the movements I could make. To make things easier, they put me in a bridge position connecting me from Isiah to Jax. These men put me in places I would never expect. First DP accomplished!

XBIZ: How did you bring your glamcore vision to life for the DP/DA/DV scene with Mick Blue and Seth Gamble?

MAY: I wanted a very unique dress made, so I reached out to Candy Bee Collection to make me a custom mesh covered in crystals with a nice long ponytail. The ponytail did not survive the performance, though; that thing got ripped off over and over again. I wasn’t nervous for the DP/DV but I was very nervous about my DA. I knew if I wasn’t prepared enough it could really hurt me and in turn mess up a lot of the rest of the scenes for the movie.

I adore Mick and Seth so much, because I told them I was nervous but once we started the scene it just went as amazing as I could have hoped. I felt good, they felt good, I was being bratty and I was cumming. There’s nothing more a girl could want.

I do remember getting into the position for the DA and Seth accidentally elbowed me right in the forehead! But moments like that and the unexpected quirks are my favorite memories. Mick was under me and Seth was above me; they saw I was noticeably nervous, so Mick just talked softly and sweetly into my ear while Seth took a deep breath with me — and next thing you know, double anal, baby!

It got sweaty, we got sexy and to top it off, I got “waterboarded” afterwards with champagne. Another scene in and more of my fire was being lit.

XBIZ: Talk about your “hippie” scene with Emma Rose, as far as the overall vibe and the action.

MAY: The moment the showcase had a green light, Emma Rose was the first person I requested and wanted to work with. She’s beautiful, she’s intelligent and she has a big ol’ booty, which is definitely a weakness of mine. I wanted to do a full outside shoot and lie in the grass being passionate for this scene, and it turned out to be hands-down the prettiest scene of the whole movie, which is exactly what I wanted.

XBIZ: Describe the gangbang scene, which you’ve teased as being a unique scenario and execution.

MAY: The gangbang scene was very intense. We knew there were only so many ways you could do the scene. After talking and strategizing, we came up with the idea that we would do a slow buildup rather than just getting right to the gangbang, where you wouldn’t want to fast-forward to get to the main part. So I start on a balcony with a blowjob with John Strong, then we switch to a railing where Alex Mack is doing me in the vadge, then we make our way down the staircase to where Codey Steele is, for the first anal, then over to Seth Gamble and Mick Blue doing the DP of a lifetime, before finally all the guys surround me to make sure every hole is filled. This was by far my favorite scene. Every blissful orgasm and every kinky bit was so amazing. I still feel high from it.

XBIZ: Now that you can see how the showcase turned out, what are your big takeaways?

MAY: Now that it’s done, I can 1,000% say this movie is what I’m most proud of to date. It’s creative, it’s unique, it’s wild and it’s authentically me. I couldn’t have done it alone — Chris did an amazing job filming it and helping me create something epic. All the talent gave me their all and I am so beyond appreciative of that, and of @codyjaycreative for creating all the social media images … all of these things had to mesh and work and look perfect together. It was a high-stress situation but we fucking did it. Every piece works together effortlessly, every captured image. And all of it captures me.

XBIZ: Discuss your ambitions, for the coming year and in the long term.

MAY: I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. I want to find more ways to be creative and bring a new, fun style to adult. I want fans to watch the whole thing, not fast-forward to the “good part.” So, here’s to another year of finding ways to break the internet — because trust me, there is plenty more coming.

MONTREAL — Adult Time has launched a new original gay series, “Daddy’s Boy,” as part of its expansion into exclusive gay content.

Utah Senator, Mormon Activist Single Out Adult Sites With ‘PROTECT Act’

WASHINGTON — Utah Senator Mike Lee (R) and Mormon activist Dawn Hawkins, CEO of religiously motivated anti-porn lobby NCOSE, are promoting the PROTECT Act, a proposed federal bill that would make adult websites liable for third-party content.

Sen. Lee introduced the PROTECT Act last week. The bill would require “pornography sites to verify the age of all participants in pornographic images; require sites to obtain verified consent forms from individuals uploading content and those appearing in uploaded content; and mandate that websites quickly remove images upon receiving notice they uploaded without consent.”

The law does not define “pornography site.” The definition of pornography is frequently contested, and groups like NCOSE have contended that mainstream publications Sport Illustrated and Cosmopolitan constitute “pornography.”

Sen. Lee’s announcement of the bill last week also implicitly conflated legal “pornography” — however defined — with illegal CSAM and even actual rape, by stating that the proposal “comes as Utah law enforcement announced a 600% increase in cases involving child pornography and sexual contact with minors since 2020” and citing statistics from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. This was juxtaposed with an endorsement from the completely unrelated National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE), led by Mormon activist and former Republican staffer Dawn Hawkins, also from Utah.

Earlier this year, Hawkins recounted to Utah’s Deseret News that “after returning from her church mission, she moved straight to Washington, D.C., and emailed Patrick Treuman, the former chief at the U.S. Department of Justice of the Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section under former presidents Reagan and Bush. She asked if there was a project on which she could volunteer.”

“I cared about the law and advocacy side of things,” Hawkins told Deseret News. “I thought, we have to stop this problem and pull back how normalized exploitation has become.”

Hawkins also took credit for the secular rebranding of NCOSE, the religiously inspired pro-censorship group originally known as Morality in Media.

Adult sites enjoy the same free speech and Section 230 protections as other platforms, but Sen. Lee’s bill and announcement seem geared towards changing that.

“Pornography sites need to do more to prevent the exploitation that is occurring on their platforms and allow individuals to remove images shared without their consent,” Lee declared. “The PROTECT Act is a step in that direction.”

The bill is also endorsed by controversial conservative activist Terry Schilling, president of the American Principles Project, as well as celebrities like comedian Witney Cummings and former athlete, actor, motivational speaker and anti-porn activist Terry Crews.
