PeterFever, JustFor.fans Partner for Content Creator Initiative

LAS VEGAS — zBuckz network paysite PeterFever has partnered with fan platform JustFor.fans (JFF) for a new content creator collaboration.

Conceived by zBuckz CEO Danny Zeeman and Marketing Director Nolan Knox, the PeterFever Creator Initiative will allow existing PeterFever performers to receive $100 for each JFF clip they create, up to $1000 total.

“The videos will help ‘sell’ PeterFever members on buying a subscription to the model’s Fan accounts,” said a rep. “In addition to the cash payment, models also receive a link and/or banner to their JustFor.Fans page from both their model profile page on the website’s tour as well as on their Videos page in the members’ area.”

Knox enthused about the partnership.

“I think that this opportunity is a great step forward into the collaborative effort between studios and content creators,” he said. “In this saturated space, it is the next logical step into forming a space where studios and individuals can create something new in the adult film industry. Personally, as a content creator, I believe that this program will help further the reach and exposure that I can gain outside of social media.”

Added Zeeman, “We are really happy to work with our stars on this PeterFever Creator Initiative to help models earn more revenue from their existing content as well as to grow their fan accounts. As a fellow LGBTQ-owned company, partnering with JustFor.Fans on this project made perfect sense for us.”

JFF CEO Dominic Ford echoed the zBuckz team’s excitement.

“We’ve always believed that JFF can collaborate with studios in creative ways,” he said. “This partnership is exciting because there is so much synergy and overlap between our models and audience, and the models and audience in studio porn. We hope to work even closer with studios, and believe together we can bring new revenues to the entire community of adult performers and studios. Diversity and inclusion are hallmarks of the JFF brand.”

FSC Files Financial Discrimination Complaint Against Banking Service Novo

FSC Files Financial Discrimination Complaint Against Banking Service Novo

LOS ANGELES — Free Speech Coalition (FSC) has filed a formal complaint against fintech provider Novo, after the banking service provider rejected the organization’s business account application without providing any reason for its decision.

The complaint was submitted to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the government agency dedicated to making sure Americans are treated fairly by banks, lenders and other financial institutions.

On Thursday, FSC released a statement detailing the situation:

Last month, as part of its campaign to improve banking access for the adult industry, FSC Executive Director Alison Boden began meeting with banking regulators who encouraged FSC and its members to file complaints whenever accounts are closed or denied. Such complaints not only alert the government to potentially discriminatory practices, but the CFPB can use its authority to contact the institution and advocate on your behalf. Faced with this discriminatory action by Novo, FSC followed the regulators’ advice and is now encouraging all members of the adult industry to do the same.

“As an industry, we need to report incidents of financial discrimination,” says Boden. “One of the largest hurdles we face is that our issue is largely unknown to regulators and legislators. By reporting these incidents to the CFPB, we can start to draw attention to the unfair practices of banks and other financial platforms, and help to stop this endemic discrimination. We are not the problem.”

FSC was in the process of drafting guidance to alert members of the importance of filing complaints when their own account was rejected by Novo. Novo refused to provide any information as to why the application of a 501(c)(6) non-profit with no apparent risk factors had been rejected, and stopped communicating entirely after Boden asked if the decision involved the organization’s relationship to the adult industry.

While more detailed guidance is coming, those who suffer financial discrimination as a result of their work in the adult industry are encouraged to file a complaint  with CFPB as soon as it happens. Those who have experienced financial discrimination more generally are encouraged to submit a report to Free Speech Coalition. FSC uses these reports to understand the extent and type of discrimination industry members face, as well as illustrate the harmful impact it has on individuals and businesses.
