LOS ANGELES — Vixen Media Group exclusive and 2022 XBIZ Performer of the Year Maitland Ward has made her directing and performing debut for studio imprint Tushy in “Casting Couch.” 

The scene, which features 2022 XBIZ Male Performer of the Year Mick Blue and 2021 XBIZ Performer of the Year Dante Colle, has Ward putting “a spin on the stereotypical Hollywood auditions narrative — where men have all the power and dictate how women dress, behave and perform — except she plays by her own rules and directs what happens on the casting couch in an artfully, erotic way,” said a rep.

Ward noted her motivation for creating the scene.

“’Casting Couch’ serves as a provocative take on the old Hollywood system and the power dynamics at play, but with a delicious twist — the actress is now in charge,” she said. “I wanted to create this film, not only because it’s a take on my own journey to a seat of authority and command, but also because you rarely get to see a woman in Hollywood in such a dominant light. It was really fun being the one auditioning the guys and enticing them to give me everything I wanted. I loved being in this powerful position.”

Vixen director Kayden Kross, a frequent collaborator of Ward’s, enthused about the scene.

“I am always excited for any announcement that involves Maitland’s ongoing work with Vixen Media Group, and this is no exception,” she said. “I love the results of this project and am looking forward to her next directorial projects and everything else that is still to come. This woman has no ceiling.”

LAS VEGAS — Kaiia Eve is celebrating earning a Trans Erotica Awards (TEAs) nomination for Best Non-TS Female Performer.

LOS ANGELES — Alison Rey is the latest adult performer to guest on KJAG Radio’s “Jiggy Jaguar Show.”

Rey talked about how her approach to TikTok helped her grow AdultTime’s presence on the platform. She also discussed her career in front of and behind the camera.

LOS ANGELES — LFP Broadcasting hired Stephanie Meyer as the executive vice president of broadcasting worldwide, parent company Flynt Management Group announced today

Meyer, a recognized name within the broadcasting industry with over 25 years of experience, will focus on relationships with satellite, cable, IPTV and OTT operators across EMEA regions while the portfolio of adult entertainment content distributor LFP Broadcasting.

Meyer previously held the title of Head of European Sales and Marketing of LFP’s European divisions for over a decade, working directly with Larry Flynt, and “was instrumental in building the company’s reputation and growth during this time throughout the EMEA,” a rep said.

Meyer left the company in 2016 “to further her career and returns to LFP to guide the company into the future while continuing to focus on production, partnerships, technology and distribution,” the rep added.
