BUDAPEST — European male talent Kai Taylor has passed away, according to people close to him. He was 37.

The news was reported to XBIZ by Rocco Siffredi, who recently directed Taylor in his boxing feature “The Spanish Stallion.” The Italian director and performer was Taylor’s mentor in the industry and is currently in communication with Taylor’s girlfriend.

“I’m so sad, I can’t stop crying,” Siffredi said about the news. “It feels like I lost a son. I still can’t believe it.”

“Kai could be difficult sometimes, but he had a big heart,” he added.

Born in the U.K., Taylor had performed in the U.K. and European side of the industry for 12 years. His IAFD page boasts over 600 scene credits distributed by Killergram, DDF, Pornbox and other leading Euro companies.

In an interview for a Brazilian publication, Taylor said, “I am just doing my thing. Hopefully I am recognized worldwide some day. One thing I can tell you. I want to be sitting at the top before I leave porn.”

“I wanted to be a porn star since I was young,” Taylor told the interviewer. “I got my first opportunity on August 11, 2010 and never looked back. I am still here doing what I like. Being a porn star has its goods and bads, but isn’t that with every job?”

An avid boxer nicknamed “The Gladiator,” his athletic background recently had led to a high-profile co-starring role in Siffredi’s “The Spanish Stallion: Field of Sluts” (2021), produced for Evil Angel.

LOS ANGELES — Next Door Studios has launched an original ongoing series, titled “Love is Payne,” starring exclusive Dakota Payne as he navigates love and life as a porn star in Los Angeles.

The series is inspired by “Sex and the City,” noted executive producer Jeremy Babcock.

The premise “lets us take a fictional peek behind the curtain,” he said. “We’ve wanted to create a model-centered series for a while, and who better to build this around than the amazing Mr. Payne? We hope everyone enjoys this series as much as we enjoyed making it.”

A pilot episode, titled “The Closet Case,” features Payne alongside fellow exclusive Andrew Miller.

“Dakota and Andrew meet in a waiting room and Dakota finds that Andrew recognizes him from his prolific career in the industry. But Andrew still claims that he’s straight; Dakota charms his way into Andrew’s heart, and Andrew asks him out on a date,” a rep said. “However, the question remains: can a chance encounter with a closeted fan lead to love?”

Payne enthused about the series and its potential.
