Eldorado Now Offering Lovense 'Calor' Stroker

BROOMFIELD, Colo. — Eldorado Trading Company has signed a semi-exclusive deal to distribute the Lovense Calor stroker for penis-owners.

The Calor is described as a “depth-controlled heating masturbator that redefines the way you control your pleasure,” noted a rep.

“Sensation choices include adjustable vibration levels, variable pressure, a high-tech warming function and depth-control that changes the vibration level depending on depth of insertion,” the rep explained. “The Calor can also sync with a variety of Lovense products, including Max, Max 2 and Nora. Movement from any of those products reacts and responds to partners utilizing a compatible device, allowing each to play together regardless of the distance.”

Eldorado Sales Account Manager Cherise Romero noted, “Calor is a great addition to your masturbation section. What separates this from other masturbators is the interactivity via the app as well as the VR options. They recently partnered with SexLikeReal for VR integration that is sure to be a big hit in the tech community. With the app they can interact with other Lovense items, such as the Nora, or even another Calor.”

Mercedes Carrera Pretrial Date Postponed Again

Mercedes Carrera Pretrial Date Postponed Again

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. — The pretrial hearing in the Mercedes Carrera criminal case concerning multiple child sexual abuse charges against Carrera and her husband — which was scheduled for last Friday at the Rancho Cucamonga courthouse in San Bernardino County, California — has been postponed once again, this time until Feb. 8.

Carrera and her husband, Jason Whitney, were arrested after a police raid of their Rancho Cucamonga home on Feb. 1, 2019. They have been in county jail without trial since then, first without bail and later, after they had liquidated their assets and had no source of income due to their incarceration, with bail set at $2 million for each.

A pretrial hearing to determine the jury selection process, and the date of the beginning of the actual trial, has already been postponed numerous times.

The new date of Feb. 8 — like several previous postponements — appeared in a document filed online.

The earliest date for the actual trial to begin has been set to late March, over three years after Carrera and her husband were arrested.

The document shows the hearing took place today with District Attorney Laura Fragoso and Carrera’s conflict panel attorney, Geoff Newman, standing for the accused. Carrera was in attendance.

Pipedream Debuts New ‘King Cock Elite’ System

WEST HILLS, Calif. — Pipedream Products is now shipping the King Cock Elite Dual Density Silicone dildos and Body Dock Universal Harness System from its Midwest distribution center.

“With their latest offering, Pipedream has raised the bar even higher for luxury realism with King Cock Elite, the manufacturer’s first-ever, dual-density silicone collection of premium dildos and rechargeable vibes,” noted a rep.

Made from Pipedream’s proprietary dual-density Elite Silicone and available in three all-inclusive skin tones, the rep explained, each King Cock Elite is stiff on the inside with an incredibly soft, super-lifelike feel on the outside.

“The ultra-hygienic, food-grade silicone is designed to mimic the look and feel of real skin, and the body-safe material surpasses all international health and safety standards. Every vein, every shaft, every head and every pore is hand-sculpted and hand-decorated in stunning detail, creating the most realistic looking and feeling silicone dildos on the market,” they said.

The 20-piece collection is available in non-vibrating and vibrating styles, with super-strong suction cups and without balls. The vibrating pieces are all rechargeable via magnetic USB ports, powered by strong 10-function motors, and available with an optional rechargeable remote control for couple’s play. The solid silicone suction cup is designed for superior performance and maximum compatibility with Pipedream’s patent-pending Body Dock Universal Harness System.

“The King Cock range continues to innovate, and customers have been asking for a premium, silicone version of the King for a while now,” said Kristian Broms, chief design officer of Pipedream. “The quality, useability and functionality of this new silicone formula is unbelievable, and the realism is unrivaled. When you deserve only the best, treat yourself like royalty with silicone fit for a King, or Queen.”

The Body Dock is Pipedream’s patent pending suction-cup strap-on system and is available in two versions: Beginner’s Body Dock Strap-on Harness and Comfy Body Dock Strap-on Harness.

“With a concave, circular dildo dock connected to a soft, nylon waist strap, the Body Dock effortlessly keeps your silicone suction-cup dildo in place using an incredibly strong suction-powered bond,” said the rep. “The form-fitted PU pleasure plate is cleverly curved to fit the body’s contours and distributes pressure evenly across the wearer’s pelvic region with each thrust. The Body Dock’s patent-pending Push and Play design gives users complete control and works seamlessly with most silicone suction cups, determined by diameter.”

The Crown Jewels are described as “premium swinging balls and available in vibrating and weighted versions for “the ultimate lifelike experience.”

“The squishy, stretchy testes are made with dual-density Elite silicone and are soft on the outside and firm on the inside. With a strategically placed vibe buzzing in each ball, users get 10 patterns of pulsation along with the incredible feel of free-swinging, slapping balls,” noted the rep.

The entire King Cock Elite collection is backed by Pipedream’s one-year limited warranty, and packaged in sturdy, unisex boxes that “look great on the wall or the web.”

The boxes can be displayed two ways, either window-box or photo, and feature scannable QR codes that link directly to the product’s demonstration video, allowing discerning shoppers to discreetly “try it before they buy it” on their mobile device.

New Article Probes Resurgence of Anti-Porn Feminism

NEW YORK — Prestigious fashion, art, photography and design journal Document published today an incisive article by writer Sophia Giovannitti examining the resurgence of anti-porn feminism in mainstream cultural discourse around sexual content.

In “The Resurgence of Anti-Porn Feminism,” Giovannitti makes the case that “the debate around sex work is really all about labor.”

To insist that sex “should be private and free when the conditions [of privacy-less, data-driven late capitalism] make such descriptors patently impossible,” she writes, “is to play into the impossible demands of patriarchal capitalism — the fallacy that we have on time and off time; work time and home time; internet time and private time; and that sex should always remain firmly in the latter, damned to invisible pockets of time that don’t, ultimately, exist.”

The author notes that “lately it feels like every time I open Twitter, I see a semi-viral tweet bravely decrying the evils of misogynistic or violent porn, drawing a direct causal line between the ubiquity of men watching pornography and the ubiquity of violence against women — as though the genre’s only relationship to women is interpersonal, mediated through the watching of porn by men.”

Giovannitti calls this discourse “exhaustingly one-note.”

“Any individual pretending to know that in every instance correlation is indeed causation — that pornography has an innate property ascribed to no other media, the power to give primarily men permission to behave badly in ways they otherwise wouldn’t, or wouldn’t with such frequency and zeal,” she points out, “is speaking with a certainty I can’t pretend to have”

Sex and Labor

Giovannitti points out that her “relationship to the aesthetics of sex is a peculiar one. I don’t make or sell porn, though I do other forms of work which involve presenting myself as sexually exceptional in a way that is legible to consumers of porn and the like. A lot of people I know sell porn. We speak about sexual labor the way we speak about other forms of labor: our annoyance at having to do it; trading tips and warnings; ‘Has anyone ever said this to you before?;’ showing one another nudes and clips and texts for the purposes of soliciting advice, compliments, or catharsis.”

Answering notable New York Times-endorsed SWERFs like Michelle Goldberg and much ballyhooed Oxford philosophy professor Amia Srinivasan, Giovannitti provides a fundamental reply to the question that their generalizing arguments so obviously beg: “Why do so many women make porn, after all, if porn is ostensibly so bad for women?

“People make porn to make money,” Giovannatti states. “Women make porn to make money. Making money and thus avoiding the perils of life with no money — lack of housing, food, healthcare, stability, anything else — supersedes the desire to avoid any other perils, like a changed relationship to one’s sex life.”

During the pandemic, she adds, “a lot of people would rather fuck their boyfriends or girlfriends on camera and sext with customers for tips, than host at a restaurant or do any other type of service work in which they’ll be badly treated, sexually harassed and paid a pathetic hourly wage.”

UK Charity Releases Study on Financial Discrimination of Sex Workers

UK Charity Releases Study on Financial Discrimination of Sex Workers

LONDON — National Ugly Mugs (NUM), a U.K. charity focused on sex worker rights and outreach, released a comprehensive research report on the financial discrimination of sex workers, including adult performers and businesses, in the U.K.

The report’s findings confirmed that “there is evidence of financial discrimination against sex workers from various U.K.-based banks and financial institutions,” including “the refusal of services, such as business accounts, overdrafts and loans, and other financial products,” and documented cases where “the personal bank accounts of sex workers were shut down or frozen.”

Participants included adult performers, cam performers, content creators, strippers and full-service sex workers. Many participants, the report stated, “were involved in more than one form of sex work.”

Other findings of the NUM report include:

  • With increasing digitalization of payment streams and the gradual move towards a cashless society, more sex workers rely on financial products that they are unable to access due to financial discrimination. As a result, many are forced to lie to financial institutions and state authorities about their business and prevented from filing their taxes correctly and even complying with U.K. regulations of the sex industry.
  • Sex workers have developed different strategies to deal with financial discrimination which in most cases involve either hiding or lying about their engagement in the sex industry or avoiding certain banks and institutions altogether, resulting in an exclusion from large parts of the financial market, including many investment products, the housing market and retiring funds.
  • Experiencing financial discrimination has a significant negative impact on the mental health of sex workers with extreme anxiety, depression and feeling excluded being reported most frequently.
  • The anti-sex worker bias of many financial organizations has wider implications for the working conditions of sex workers as a small number of international financial institutions hold significant power in online markets, including various platforms that sex workers are using to distribute their content.

The report also noted that “although most of the anti-sex worker lobbying of Mastercard and other large financial companies originate in the U.S., the interpenetration of platforms results in repressive policing of U.K.-based institutions.”

Additionally, the report described the well-documented international influence of American “right-wing evangelical groups as well as U.S. legislation on these financial players.”

NUM’s declared mission is “fighting to end all forms of violence against sex workers.”

The charity, according to their mission statement, “provides tools for sex workers to report potentially violent or otherwise dangerous individuals who pose as clients, and parties who victimize sex workers.” NUM also “supports sex workers to prevent harm, report it and access resources for justice, healing and recovery in their communities and through the legal system if requested.”
