NEW YORK — Jiz Lee’s anthology “Coming Out Like a Porn Star” (ThreeL Media) has won “Best Thought Leadership” honors from the 2021 Good Sex Awards.

The awards are organized by erotica author and editor Rachel Kramer Bussel and sex-positive story website TheGoodBits.com. Lee was among 45 finalists in eight categories, including “Best Feminist Sex,” “Best Kink,” “Best Sexy Talk,” “Best LGBTQI Scene” and “Sexiest Consent.” Each category winner receives $150.

LOS ANGELES — Reigning XBIZ “Cam Model of the Year” GoAskAlex will lead a discussion panel titled “Disability in Sex Work” Thursday at 4 p.m. (PDT) hosted by nonprofit support and advocacy group Sex Work Survival Guide.

The group’s free ongoing speaker series is produced by Tiana “Glittersaurus” Rex, The Domme Kat and Lola Jean.

“I am so honored and proud to be able to take part in this month’s speaker series and impart my knowledge as an ostomate with perceived physical limitations that would have kept me from having a career as an entertainer in the past,” said GoAskAlex, who underwent a total abdominal colectomy in 2019 and now functions with an ostomy.  

“Those ideas and assumptions about who sex workers are and what we are capable of are going away, thanks to organizations such as this one,” GoAskAlex continued. “The more we educate, motivate and let our voices be heard on local, national and international platforms, the better off we will be as a whole.”

“The flagship design in this series is the ‘Fate of Aino’ collection which has multiple layers of meaning for Chase personally and in relation to her career and it’s inspired by the Finnish epic Kalevala and the painting ‘Aino Myth’ by Akseli Gallen-Kallela,” said a rep.
