Siri Dahl Advises ‘Singletons’ on Making the Best of Valentine’s Day

LOS ANGELES — With Valentine’s Day approaching, Siri Dahl has shared her thoughts on why many will likely downplay the holiday this year — and what others can do try to enjoy it as much as possible.

“I’m guessing that much of the hoopla for Valentine’s Day this year will be toned down while under lockdown,” she noted, “but were we that excited to begin with?”

She added that many of America’s single adults — an estimated 50% of the population — probably won’t register the holiday. “I feel pretty neutral about it anyway; I’m all for romance, but the idea that this one day of the year should be specifically more romantic than any other day is very arbitrary and silly to me,” Dahl said, adding that the time one spends with a loved one is more important than the specific calendar date itself.

As for what “singletons” should be do on February 14 this year, Dahl offered the following suggestion: “Don’t stress it. I’ve probably spent more nights at home on Valentine’s Day than I have actually celebrated anything. This holiday isn’t even the most important one.”

“Halloween is so much better,” she added.

Dahl suggested that people who will be alone on this holiday should either ignore it or consider treating themselves to something special.

“If you’re at home alone this February 14, I would suggest either pretending it’s not a holiday at all — because we’re in a pandemic and who honestly cares? — or you could treat yourself to a cozy evening in with your favorite TV show or movie, some sweet treats and as much masturbation as you can handle in one evening. That’s what I’ll be doing,” Dahl explained.

More of Dahl’s V-Day activities can be found on OnlyFans and Twitter.

AdultToyMegaStore Adds Free Vibes to Valentine’s Pizza Orders

WELLINGTON, New Zealand — AdultToyMegastore.co.nz (ATMS) will give away free Mini Bullet vibes to local customers who order a double pizza from Hell Pizza online Friday through Sunday, while supplies last.

Wellington-based Hell Pizza was established in 1996 and has grown to become one of New Zealand’s “most infamous and well-known brands,” a rep explained. “With 76 franchises throughout New Zealand and more than 1,100 staff, it produces more than 75,000 free-range pizzas every week. With a focus on quality, it offers Kiwi consumers an ethical option in convenience foods.”

The company supports a range of causes — including the New Zealand Book Awards, and IHC’s Project Active — as “an active member of the communities in which it operates,” noted the rep.

ATMS conducted a survey in 2020 and discoverered “nearly half of New Zealanders have purchased a toy from an adult store,” said the rep. “They are more likely to be women, but not by much — 41% of New Zealand men have bought sex toys, and 45% of New Zealand women have shopped at an adult store.”

With more people stuck at home, the new campaign was designed to be a fun and lighthearted, strictly adults-only way to celebrate the moden Day of Love.

Adults will be asked to verify their age before opting into the pizza giveaway; the Mini Bullets will be discreetly packaged and sealed with an R18 sticker. “Using targeted digital advertising, Hell Pizza has been able to carefully select media channels and target adults to minimize the risk of the R18 campaign reaching minors,” the rep noted.

“We’re in a new era for adult toys,” ATMS Owner Nicola Relph said.

“I’ve been in this business for more than a decade, and I’ve never seen a time where people are so open about their sex lives and excited to try new things. I’m thrilled that toys are mainstream now and people can have mature conversations about sex and sexuality,” Relph added.
