GLENDALE, Calif. — Multi-XMA-winning performer Abella Danger slipped into a sexy new role Thursday night, making her talk show host debut with “The Abella Show: Danger She Spoke,” a new show and podcast featuring revealing conversations with fellow performers and industry personalities.
For its premiere, “Danger She Spoke” received a special live-audience treatment that felt like the adult industry’s answer to “Inside the Actors Studio.” The lively crowd got its first look at Danger in the interviewer’s chair, where she brought her signature candor, sparkle, and larger-than-life personality to the evening’s conversations.
Held at the Nocturne Theatre in Glendale, the industry-only affair paired the closeness of a theater-in-the-round with full Hollywood glamour. Rows of velvety red seats curved around the stage, ensuring every guest had an intimate view of the action.
Before the show, the industry glitterati made their way down the red carpet as cameras flashed inside the venue. Danger commanded the carpet in a blush-colored, midriff-baring ensemble featuring a body-hugging top and floor-length skirt with a dramatic train.
Inside, an open bar kept the cocktails flowing while a live jazz band added a sultry soundtrack, performing as guests settled into their seats and returning between segments throughout the evening.
At center stage, two chairs awaited Danger and her guests beneath a glowing neon sign bearing her name. Comedian CJ Marrinan warmed up the crowd before turning the stage over to Danger, who made her entrance to rousing applause in a white latex bandeau top and curve-hugging miniskirt.
“When I was waiting to step out of the tunnel, I was nervous beyond measure,” admitted Danger. “However, when I heard everyone cheering so hard, I felt motivated just to do my best.”
Her first guest was veteran performer Scott Nails, who strode onto the stage in a colorful shirt, jeans and a nose brace. The accessory proved fitting as the longtime collaborators revisited an unscripted onscreen moment in which Danger punched Nails in the face.
Their reunion extended beyond the stage. Nails revealed that he and Danger had filmed a scene together the previous day for Brazzers’ upcoming feature, “Mega Perv.”
“I had a great time working with her over the last couple of days,” he said. “She’s not only beautiful but incredibly talented, and I’ve always loved working with her. It was a blast sharing the stage with her.”
After watching Danger progress from rehearsals to the live premiere, Nails was equally impressed by her ease as a host.
“I couldn’t believe how well she did. Watching her work through rehearsals and then absolutely crush the live show was awe-inspiring,” he said. “I can definitely see her going far with this show. She’s such a natural talent. Honestly, she made me nervous trying to keep up with her.”
For Danger, choosing Nails as her first guest felt like a natural choice.
“Scott has been a friend of mine for so long,” she said. “He’s one of my favorite performers, and I just think the world of him. He’s so funny, and I’m honored that he came out to do the interview with me.”
Abigaiil Morris joined Danger next for the evening’s second conversation. For Morris, the interview carried extra meaning as both a celebration of their friendship and the beginning of Danger’s new venture.
“Being one of Abella’s first interviews was really special,” said Morris. “You could see how excited she was for this new chapter, and that excitement was contagious. I had such a great time talking with her, and I’m so happy to see everything she’s building. I can’t wait to watch it all unfold.”
Danger was equally enthusiastic about the chance to sit down with Morris.
“She embodies the insatiable sexual appetite seen in the most legendary performers of the past, yet she defines this current generation of porn that is thriving and exciting,” said Danger. “I was excited to interview her. She was so genuine and funny.”
The pair’s conversation took an unexpected turn when Jordi El Niño appeared high above the stage, dressed in a “Phantom of the Opera” mask and costume. Danger and Morris looked up in mock confusion, fully committing to the bit.
“What are you doing? We’re in the middle of a talk show,” Danger exclaimed before inviting him down to join them. El Niño accepted the invitation and promptly made himself comfortable on Morris’ lap.
The audience remained fully engaged throughout the show, reacting enthusiastically to the interviews, jokes and surprise appearances. Among those seated around the stage were industry stars Kayley Gunner, Kira Noir, Manuel Ferrara, Girthmasterr, Ricky Johnson, Jameliz, Blake Blossom, and Lilly Bell.
Comedian Annie Lederman closed out the show before guests headed upstairs for an after-party fueled by club bangers and late-night boxes of Taco Bell. Danger slipped into her third look of the evening, a short gold bodycon dress with daring cutouts, and hit the dance floor with a Taco Bell box in hand as a club mix of John Summit and HAYLA’s “Shiver” filled the room.
The celebration continued into the early hours of the morning as performers and industry friends danced, laughed, sipped cocktails, and snapped photos. On their way out, guests received branded keepsakes, including an “Abella Show” water bottle and Brazzers keychain.
For Danger, the live premiere marked the culmination of an idea years in the making.
“Ryan Hogan and I discussed making my own variety show for years,” she said. “Finally, last August, we began shooting Season 1 of ‘The Abella Show.’ ‘Danger She Spoke’ is a talk show, and there will be other shows within the network coming very soon, as well.”
