OnlyFans Discloses Average Creator Earned $1.3K in 2023

LONDON — OnlyFans’ financial records for the fiscal year ending Nov. 30, 2023 were disclosed Thursday as part of a regulatory filing in the U.K., including the estimation that they paid a mean average of nearly $1,300 per creator during that year.

That average number was first noted by entertainment industry trade Variety in a correction to an article about OnlyFans’ continuing success, one of several in mainstream publications.

The Variety story focused on the impressive overall numbers, with OnlyFans reporting “record revenue and profits for its 2023 fiscal year — as the number of creators increased 29%, to 4.12 million. Gross payments made through the OnlyFans platform increased by 19% for the year ended Nov. 30, 2023, jumping from $5.55 billion in 2022 to $6.63 billion last year,” according to the U.K. filing by OF parent company Fenix International.

The figures, Variety clarified, “represent payments made by OnlyFans users net of applicable sales taxes, refunds and deferred income.”

Based on those figures, Variety reported that OnlyFans creators “earned total payouts of $5.32 billion for the most recent fiscal year, a mean average of nearly $1,300 per creator and a year-over-year increase of 19%.”

The filing also obliquely addressed OnlyFans’ status regarding adult content creators.

“OnlyFans’ mission is to empower content creators to own their full potential by building the safest social media platform and providing unparalleled opportunities to our user community,” the filing stated. “The media content on OnlyFans.com can only be shared or accessed by registered users who are over 18 years old and who have successfully completed the Creator or Fan onboarding process.”

OnlyFans “continues to garner significant media attention due to its novel business model, inclusive content policy and the success of many Creators,” Fenix International wrote, pledging to “continue to develop its public and government relations strategy to address misconceptions regarding the Group as reported in the media.”

Time Magazine Profiles ECP’s Solomon Friedman

Time Magazine Profiles ECP's Solomon Friedman

WASHINGTON — Time magazine published on Monday a profile of Ethical Capital Partners (ECP)’s VP of Compliance Solomon Friedman.

The profile — penned by Australian journalist Belinda Luscombe, author of a book on “marriageology” — offers fragments of an interview with Friedman alongside a narrative of the transition between MindGeek and Aylo and issues concerning their platform Pornhub, all contextualized with passages making broad, negative generalizations about the adult industry.

Luscombe begins her profile by comparing the ECP purchase of MindGeek — later renamed Aylo — in early 2023 with a completely unrelated terrorism case Friedman worked on as a criminal defense attorney.

ECP, Luscombe declared, approached the MindGeek purchase “with the same doggedness that Friedman brought to his defense of the terrorist.”

The thesis of Luscombe’s article is that there is something nefarious in that way that Aylo is “abiding by every letter of the law that it can, proclaiming how law-abiding it’s trying to be — and using every legal means to get its way,” in other word, running a lawful business.

Luscombe’s “man-bites-dog” hook, visible right from the headline, is that Friedman is “helped in this morally incongruous endeavor by the fact that he’s an ordained rabbi.”

Among sweeping statements and dubious generalizations Luscombe marshalls in support of her thesis is that “ research on porn-watching is unreliable because it’s based on self-reports;” that “research is inconclusive on whether obsessive porn use can be considered a behavioral addiction, a compulsion, or a symptom of another underlying disorder, but one study found that more than 10% of American men and 3% of women believe they might be addicted;” a quote by an NYC divorce lawyer she knows claiming that “porn has infiltrated marriages and exacerbated a problem and led to the destruction of many marriages;” the implication that “the problems that have bedeviled Pornhub, and online adult content in general, are bugs in the system or inherent to the product;” whether there is something suspicious in Friedman — a business person — attempting to run his business in ways that “could make him very wealthy;” quoting as an authority comedian Amy Poehler joking that “almost nobody actually plans to go into porn;” asserting that “Pornhub has ruined many lives;” among several other similarly biased concepts.

Luscombe also interviewed and quotes Laila Mickelwait, only identifying her as “the founder and CEO of the Justice Defense Fund and founder of the Traffickinghub movement, dedicated to closing down Pornhub,” and neglecting to mention her central role as Exodus Cry’s former “Director of Abolition” in the massive, orchestrated religious conservative campaign to eradicate all adult content on the internet.

Luscombe then concludes her article openly questioning “whether porn can truly ever be ethical.”

“Tiffani Madison represents what I love about this industry: women setting goals and achieving them but never being satisfied,” said Matt. “Her goal in life, from a young age, was to get into Playboy. She worked hard and got into Playboy; whereas most people would be thrilled with their life goal being achieved, Tiffani set a new one: Penthouse. Mick Blue Wins National NASA Racing Championship

ERDA, Utah — Veteran performer and race car driver Mick Blue took first place in the National Auto Sport Association (NASA) SE30 class over the weekend at the Utah International Motorsports Campus, becoming the 2024 National Champion.

Blue also competed in the TT6 and ST6 classes, obtaining third and fifth place respectively.

The SE30 class is for BMW 325 E30 cars built between 1987-1990. All cars have the same specs and have to have a minimum weight from 2700 lbs including driver after the race and a maximum of 160.90 HP/TQ output on the rear wheels.

Blue spoke exclusively with XBIZ, sharing that his SE30 victory was especially meaningful to him because all the cars are on equal footing.

“Everyone races with the same equipment to make it more fair,” he explained. “So the race determines who’s the better driver instead of who has the better car.”

The NASA Championships are a one-of-a-kind opportunity for a driver of Blue’s standing, he added because “it only happens once a year, and all racers throughout the nation and from all 50 states come together and race each other to see who is the best in the country in each category.

“You have the whole weekend to compete,” Blue added. “For each class, you do a qualifying race on Friday to determine the starting position for the race on Saturday, and then on Saturday , you have the 30-minute race and whatever is your finishing position determines who starts first on Sunday for the actual championship race.”

As XBIZ reported, Blue became the Southern California champion in Nov. 2023, when his  Bad Dragon-sponsored BMW won the 2023 NASA SoCal SE30 Championship at the Track or Treat event held at the Chuckwalla Valley Raceway.

Blue already had a NASA National Championship under his belt, having won the timed TT6 category in 2022, the same year he was crowned Male Performer of the Year at the XMA Awards (formerly known as XBIZ Awards).

“That one was about who sets the fastest time, but we don’t really race each other. It’s a different strategy,” he noted. “This weekend’s race has a lot more stress, and a lot of strategy plays into that. If the car breaks down on Saturday, you’re not gonna race on Sunday. You are racing humans, who can be predictable or unpredictable. You don’t know how fast they are on the day of the event.”

Blue also wanted to thank his sponsor Bad Dragon “for making everything possible,” JMP Autowerkz in Canoga Park, who help him gets his cars ready for all his races, and refrigeration company Cool Boxx.

“Cool Boxx has a system that pumps water into my shirt as I’m racing to keep me cool,” he explained. “Otherwise, you lose focus, as the Utah track is at 4,500 feet of altitude and the temperature there was over 90 degrees.”
