PARIS — Dorcel is premiering XBIZ Award-winning director Ricky Greenwood’s latest feature, the musical “Alive,” on Adult Empire.

With the help of Mary (Locke), Victoria learns more about Rob’s past as a successful country star and the challenges he’s facing to keep his establishment afloat. As they bond, Victoria convinces Rob to perform on stage one last time to save his struggling business. With support from Bill (Dera), a former bandmate turned record label owner, Rob assembles a top-tier country music lineup, and soon the roadhouse is packed with eager fans.”

LOS ANGELES — Kazumi will be unveiling her new Kazumi Burger, a culinary partnership with celebrity Los Angeles chef and author Alvin Cailan, mastermind of Chinatown’s trendy Amboy and creator of Eggslut.

“These are different kinds of buns,” Kazumi exclusively told XBIZ. “I’ve always been obsessed with stuffing my holes, so this should come as no surprise. And for one day only, Monday Aug. 26, I’m helping everyone else stuff theirs with a different type of meat — the Kazumi burger!”

Cailan is the host of First We Feast’s The Burger Show which airs on YouTube and Hulu. Kazumi described his Amboy as one of her favorite restaurants in her hometown of Los Angeles.

 “And it’s Filipino owned!” she enthused. “Alvin and I made sure the ‘Zumi burger is made of Filipino flavors. Schedule highlights for Friday, Aug. 23, include the Night of Exxxcellence Hall of Fame Inductee Ceremony hosted by James Bartholet and Misty Stone, which will take place at 5 p.m. (PDT) at Golden Occasions.

The Urban X Lingerie Party will take place Saturday at 10 p.m. at The Players Club and will be hosted by Destiny Mira, Harley Haze, Sarah Lace, Mena Carlisle, Charlie B Hustle, Curly Rican and Cali Caliente.

On Saturday, Ana Foxx and Banksie will host the Red Carpet from 5-7 p.m. (PDT), at The Regent Theater. After this, the 2024 Urban X Awards, hosted by Carmela Clutch and Charlie B Hustle, will take place at 7:30 p.m.

“Also, we have to give a shoutout to April Velvet who joined us on one of the scenes,” Banks added. “She wasn’t booked for it, but when she found out who we were partying with, she got in the car and just drove over for some fun. What a woman.”
