The actresses include “Euphoria”’s Hunter Schafer and Nava Mau from Netflix’s viral success “Baby Reindeer.”

LOS ANGELES — Daisy Destin ascended to the top of the VNALive Girl leaderboard in May 2024, as voted by fans on Vicky Vette’s VNALive.com.

Second place went to Claudia Marie and third place to Maxine X.

“I don’t know what to say, but let the good times roll,” said Destin. “I am speechless; four months in a row is crazy.”

Vette launched VNALive in 2012 as a camming platform where performers could add live shows to their membership site benefits package. Each month, the winning VNALive performer receives $250. The second-place winner receives $150, and the third-place winner receives $100.

“Daisy is killing it right now,” said Vette. “It’s not easy to finish first and usually the girls in second and third are always different so I am super impressed that she’s got the fans behind her this month. EDISON, N.J. — Scarlett Foxx has made her studio debut with ChickPass Amateurs and stars in two new scenes.

Both scenes are directed by Logan Drake. The first is titled “Housekeeper Scarlett is Fucking Her Boss.”

The second is titled “Logan Gets a Blowjob From Scarlett Foxx.”

“Logan is such a safe person to work with,” said Foxx. “He’s so creative and can produce inventive stories on the fly. We played off each other’s imaginations to shoot each scene, and I loved being able to experiment with new outfits.”

Drake enthused about working with Foxx.

“Scarlett has such an artistic vibe that exists within her, even without being in porn,” he said. “Her style and grace come out on camera. LOS ANGELES — Veteran industry lighting man, gaffer and grip Rick Rodney passed away, according to industry friends and associates.

For many years, Rodney was the go-to freelance crew professional for countless adult productions. He also worked regularly for Wicked Pictures alongside Brad Armstrong.

“Ric was a true professional,” Armstrong told XBIZ. “Always the first one to set and the last to leave. He was usually the first smiling face I saw as I pulled up to the location. He had a way of making me feel like I was in good hands and it was going to be a good day — and even if it turned to shit I knew he’d be there in the trenches to help me muddle through it as he’d done a hundred times before.”

Rodney, Armstrong added, was much more than that. “He was just an amazing man. Everyone loved Ric — he was just that kinda guy. In the almost 30 years we worked together I’ve never heard anyone say a bad word about him. Judging by the texts and messages I’ve received today everyone felt the same way I did.

“One of my fondest memories of Ric was while we were shooting ‘Coming Home and I picked him to play the role of the Army Barber who would be shaving my head. It was the first time I’d ever shaved my head and I was kinda freaking out. He said ‘Don’t worry about it, I’m a professional’ He always had a perfectly shaved head every time I’d ever seen him in 30 years.

“We had a mantra: Sweating by 10.  He was such a hard worker he was always sweating by 10 a.m., whether we were shooting in an air conditioned studio or in 100 degree deser, his head was glistening with sweat. I’m really gonna miss that shiny bald head and his warm smiling face.”

Stormy Daniels posted on Facebook, “This one hits so hard. We’d been trying to reach him all weekend and Ric has always responded quickly. I thought it was odd — and then we got the call. I’m absolutely heartbroken.”

HONOLULU — Strike 3 Holdings, the copyright holder for the Vixen Media Group brands, has partnered with a Hawaiian law firm to expand its persistent strategy of filing multiple infringement lawsuits in federal court against unidentified downloaders.

The Los Angeles-based adult company partnered with Honolulu attorney Christian Kamau and his firm Virtuesq in 2022, local outlet Civil Beat reported, noting that the company has filed 132 lawsuits in the Hawaiian capital’s U.S. district court since then.

Virtuesq describes its practice as combining “modern legal expertise with the spirit of Hawaii.”

The Civil Beat report cited a still-open case before U.S. Magistrate Judge Wes Reber Porter, who cautiously allowed for it to move forward without naming the defendants, citing precedent that “an allegation that an individual illegally downloaded adult entertainment may relate to matters of a sensitive and highly personal nature, including one’s sexuality.”

As XBIZ reported, Strike 3 has for years been the subject of much fascination in the legal world for not backing down from its lawsuit-heavy approach, even after judges rebuked other practitioners of the same strategy. In 2022, legal analysis news site Law360 noted that the company’s legal gambit had proven profitable even though “several adverse court rulings have dismantled controversial business models that center on filing a high volume of infringement suits accusing internet users of downloading copyright-protected pornographic movies.”

The Law360 article describes Strike 3’s strategy this way: “After targeting anonymous Internet Protocol addresses, the plaintiffs use the suits to file ex parte subpoenas to demand internet service providers turn over information to identify the subscribers attached to the addresses. Armed with that information, the plaintiffs then pursue the defendants, who often pay small amounts to settle because they are too embarrassed to fight the allegations or don’t want the expense of hiring an attorney.”
