At Last: Jennifer White Reflects on a Breakthrough Year and XMAs Gold

This feature article appears in the March 2026 issue of X3 magazine, published by XBIZ Media.

Jennifer White has reached the top of the mountain.

Not only did the veteran performer’s recent showcase, “Hollywood Whore,” win Best Performer Showcase at the 2026 XMAs, but White herself scored the ultimate honor by being crowned Female Performer of the Year.

“I’ve waited 17 years for this moment,” White tells X3. “Now that it’s finally here, it just feels amazing. I’m very, very happy — and people seem genuinely happy for me too, which just makes it that much sweeter.”

Some might argue that the recognition was long overdue, but White says she believes things happen when they’re supposed to, and when people are ready for those things to happen.

“I don’t look at it like, ‘Oh, I’ve felt slighted for so many years,’ or anything like that,” she reflects. “I’m truly very humbled and grateful. You always hope for awards, but you never know what’s going to happen. So it just felt very sweet to have that validation.”

Help Wanted

White got her start in the biz in 2009, when she stumbled upon a Craigslist ad seeking young female talent.

At that point, she had never seriously considered a career in porn — though it had crossed her mind once or twice while she was working at a tanning salon that happened to count Stormy Daniels as one of its patrons.

“I used to see her come in, so that kind of put the idea in my head a little bit,” White recalls. “Then I saw that ad and thought, ‘Why not?’ To be completely honest, I was deep in debt at the time, and I wanted a quick way out. I went in for an interview — and here I am, 17 years later, still doing it.”

Back then, however, White wasn’t yet thinking long-term.

“I thought it was just going to be a couple of shoots, and that would be it,” she laughs. “But once I was in the business, I was like, ‘I’m kind of good at this!’

White’s very first scene was for Vivid’s “Brand New Faces” series. The shoot paired her with performer Alex Gonz. She remembers being very nervous, especially when she was being interviewed on camera by Vivid’s David Hirsch.

“It’s funny because in that interview, I said that I wouldn’t suck dick — which I ended up doing, obviously,” says White. “I remember being worried that I wouldn’t look attractive with my mouth stretched wide open!”

Lessons Learned

Once she decided to stick around and embrace her destiny as a porn star, White initially hoped she would be able to keep her professional and private lives separate.

“I thought I was going to be able to keep it secret,” White admits wryly. “I was wrong. I was outed within my first month in the business.”

This led to some rough conversations with friends and family.

“They just didn’t expect it from me, so there was a lot of shock,” she says. “Some were supportive, and some weren’t.”

White resolved not to worry about being judged by other people. Instead, she took her cues from people in the business whom she looked up to. Early in White’s career, Lisa Ann served as her agent and dispensed valuable guidance and advice.

Some early lessons White took to heart: “Invest in yourself. Do the legwork. Reach out to companies and let them know that you’re looking for work.”

Ultimately, those lessons paid off and White realized that she had found her calling.

“I fell in love with it,” she affirms. “I truly love what I do. I’ve always loved having sex — and I grew up doing musical theater, so it felt like a fun combination of the two.”

Indeed, White credits her theater background with helping her conquer her early bouts of stage fright. She especially enjoys shoots that require some acting — something she’s had the chance to explore while starring in parodies of “Star Wars,” “Captain America” and “Twilight.”

“I have a lot of passion for that side of the job,” White says. “It’s always fun to play a different role and to push myself as an actress.”

The Best Is Yet to Come

White admits that her recent achievements will be hard to top, but says she has no interest in resting on her laurels. She hopes to keep shooting for favorite companies like Brazzers, Evil Angel and Elegant Angel, and to work with top directors such as Jonni Darkko, Mike John and Sid Knox.

She also plans to double down on the strategy that made 2025 such a banner year for her.

“Last year, I contacted directors personally and said, ‘This is what I want to shoot,’” she explains. “That was the route that I took. I was very intentional about my choices. Instead of taking every job, I told people, ‘This is what I’m looking for.’”

For White, one of the most exciting things about the Female Performer of the Year award is that such recognition can give a performer a bit more control over their own career. In fact, she and her husband Deacon — who also works in the industry — are already talking about another showcase.

“I love to create,” White attests. “‘Hollywood Whore’ was the first time that my husband and I ever personally produced something. We came up with the entire story, scouted the locations and hired the talent and the crew. It was the first time I’ve ever done anything like that, so it was pretty special to me.”

White is now getting those creative juices flowing again, and already has a few potential co-stars in mind for a project she is dreaming up.

“Hopefully, Mannie Coco will be part of it, because I’ve got him on the brain!” White says. “He’s newer, but he’s pretty amazing. There’s also Victor Ray — and I don’t know if Manuel Ferrara will do a gangbang, but I’d love to have him too.”

White counts gangbangs as her personal favorite fetish. A self-shot gangbang that she produced last year became one of her bestselling clips on her hugely popular fan pages.

“It was kind of like the old Dogfart films,” White explains. “They rarely shoot like that anymore. It was very raw, and featured my ‘pimp’ pimping me out to the ‘homies.’ People really loved it.”

Downtime and Go Time

Back home in California, White lives with her husband and stepdaughter, as well as a dog named Ghost and a cat named Bonnie. When she has downtime, White will sometimes kick back by catching some stand-up comedy — she names Bill Burr, Tom Segura, Andrew Schulz and Andrew Santino as current favorites — or taking in a good punk rock show.

What’s something personal her fans may not know about her?

“I love comic books,” White confides.

She’s more of a Marvel girl, she adds, because she loves Deadpool and Doctor Strange. However, if she could play any superhero, it would be DC’s Wonder Woman — a role she did actually attempt once, in a custom video she made for a fan.

“The costume was a little too small,” she laughs. “I was trying to put it on all sexy, but it wouldn’t go up past my butt. I told him, ‘It looks like Wonder Woman’s got to lose a few.’”

These days, the Jennifer White workout mainly consists of running with her dog, as well as doing hip thrusts and calisthenics. Self-care is important to her — but having only ever taken three vacations in her entire adult life, White aspires to strike a somewhat better work-life balance going forward. She says she’d love to visit Costa Rica sometime this year.

That being said, if she could pick a shoot location anywhere in the world, she’d love to have sex on camera in Ibiza.

It could happen. After all, this is an exciting time for Jennifer White. The opportunities seem endless, the sky is the limit — and even with a coveted Female Performer of the Year trophy on her shelf, she remains too motivated to think that she has “peaked” as a performer.

Case in point: Considering how long White had to wait for her epic XMAs victory, no one would have blamed her had she hit the town hard to celebrate. Given her hectic schedule, however, she opted instead for a low-key, more intimate celebration — before getting right back to work.

“I definitely want to try to top the past year,” she says. “I don’t know how I’m going to do it. But I will.”

2026 XMAs Awards Show Now Streaming

LOS ANGELES — The 2026 XMAs awards show, presented by Fansly and held Jan. 18 at the historic Hollywood Palladium, is now available to stream on the event website.

Along the world-famous Sunset Boulevard, top performers, creators and filmmakers came together for Adult Entertainment’s Biggest Night™, celebrating the year’s standout achievements in movie production and performance. Serving as hosts were multi-XMA award winners Violet Myers and Kazumi, who kept the crowd energized throughout the night with a lineup of illustrious presenters from across the adult entertainment world.

From the moment guests arrived, the venue buzzed with excitement as stars stepped onto the red carpet dressed to the nines, ready for their moment in the spotlight. The streaming telecast features memorable appearances and award presentations by a bevy of stars including Jennifer White, Vince Karter, Octavia Red, Derek Kage, Sofia Locke, Ariel Demure, Cubbi Thompson, Ryan Reid, Anna Claire Clouds, Luna Star, Angela White, Girthmasterr and Little Puck, among others.

Ricky Greenwood marked another big night at the XMAs, winning his record sixth Director of the Year trophy. His feature “Deadly Vows” for Digital Playground also took the grand prize for Best Picture.

Sophia Locke held back tears as she accepted the award for MILF Performer of the Year, sharing that when she returned to the industry after a long hiatus, she didn’t think she was still viable for an awards win.

“I thought, four years ago, when I came back to the industry, I was too old to do it,” she said. “So I think this goes to show that there still is a spot for us older ladies.”

Another huge winner on the night was Jennifer White. She first took the stage when her showcase title, “Hollywood Whore,” won the award for Best Performer Showcase. Joined by the exceptionally large cast, White literally shook as she gave her acceptance speech.

“This means so much to me,” she said as co-star Anna Claire Clouds embraced her.

But that wasn’t the end for White. Just 45 minutes later, she returned to the stage to accept the coveted Female Performer of the Year crown. This time, she broke down as she scrolled through her phone looking for her speech before finally giving up and saying “fuck it!”

On the fly, she did her best to get all of her thank-yous out, but she was very nearly speechless as the career-defining moment sank in.

Octavia Red also took a moment to express gratitude when she accepted the award for Girl/Girl Performer of the Year.

“I must say, I’m very spoiled to be given this award by such beautiful women,” Red said. “I want to say thank you to all the beautiful women I have gotten to work with. You really light up this industry. You have taught me so much. I hope to continue to please you, and I hope to continue to learn from you.”

Ariel Demure, who took home her second XMA for Trans Performer of the Year, brought humor to the stage during her acceptance speech.

“If anyone sees a clip-on earring, just let me know,” she said. “It was 20 bucks and I’d like it back. Thank you to everyone who still hires me — all three of you.”

Derek Kage also celebrated a record milestone, winning Best Gay Performer for the third consecutive year.

“I am so lucky that I get to do what I do,” he said, clutching the trophy close to his heart.

After offering his thank-yous, Kage used his time onstage to speak about recent political developments affecting the industry.

“If any of you actually know me, you know that I like to get a little political,” he said. “The Supreme Court just heard a case last week where they’re arguing to basically discriminate against trans people. Fuck that! Support your trans performers, support your trans studios — they need our support now more than ever. There are also state legislatures around the country that are trying to criminalize what we do. So please donate, or become a member of the Free Speech Coalition. They are the ones keeping us able to do what we do.”

Little Puck delivered another memorable moment when “The Bottom Floor: Second Coming” won the award for Best Mixed Orgy/Group Sex Scene. Dressed as HIM (His Infernal Majesty), the iconic villain from “The Powerpuff Girls,” Puck celebrated the win with an exuberant shout to the crowd.

“This is a queer fuck scene! This is a trans fuck scene! This is my first airtight! I matched in every way,” she said.

The stream offers fans a front-row view of the glamorous looks, heartfelt acceptance speeches and dazzling moments that made the 2026 XMAs another unforgettable night in Hollywood.
