HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Director Jim Powers’ punk band, Killroy, has dropped a new EP.

“In 1982, Jim Lane, Tom De Spain and Eric Troop formed Killroy, one of the first American Oi bands,” said a rep. “After releasing their second record, ‘Believe in The Ruins,’ the band toured for two years before they went underground and occasionally played at top LA venues like the Roxy, Viper Room and Knitting Factory.”

“The original members and Ken Wilkes on drums have dropped an EP this week that you will be fiending to add to your music collection,” the rep added. “Killroy’s ‘Brutalized’ is on the Mental Records label and features five, new, high-energy, classic punk rock songs.”

Powers enthused about the release.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Lauren Phillips will be appearing at several events in Philadelphia and Tampa next week.
