Swiss Navy Raises Awareness of ‘World Menopause Month’

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — M.D. Science Lab, maker of the Swiss Navy brand, is observing “World Menopause Month” in October, which serves as an annual opportunity, noted a rep, to discuss the realities of female health and menopause management options.

“Menopause is a natural part of women’s lives when their hormone levels decline and menstruation ceases. And while there are several typical symptoms that surround menopause, such as hot flushes and night sweats, a common condition that many menopausal females experience is vaginal dryness,” a rep explained.

“Vaginal dryness can have tremendous effects on interpersonal relationships. According to clinical research, vaginal dryness in menopausal women can have a negative impact on quality of life and sexual relationships,” continued the rep. “This same research found personal lubricants to be effective treatment for intimate dryness.”

Dr. Sunny Rodgers, M.D., Science Lab’s intimate health advisor, noted that after menopause, reduced levels of the hormone estrogen can result in less natural lubrication.

“This can result in uncomfortable sexual experiences,” Rodgers said. “That’s why using good quality lubricants can be a game-changer for so many menopausal women.”

She said the Mayo Clinic also recommends using personal lubricant to remedy vaginal dryness and painful intercourse associated with menopause.

M.D. Science VP of Sales and Marketing Briana Watkins noted that “menopause may seem specific, but it’s one of many conditions that our team focus their research on, so we can find better ingredients and formulas to provide personal solutions.”

“The part of my position that I find most fulfilling is being able to help consumers better enjoy their lives by using our products,” she added. “Technology is helping us create new products that will better help consumers in particular segments. Let me share that 2022 will have some exciting new product launches for us.”

Vush Announces Launch of New 'Pop Collection' of Vibes

LOS ANGELES — Australian brand Vush has announced the Pop Collection, described as a “discreet, compact and fun” product range with a focus on “taking sex toys less seriously.”

“Perfectly pairing beauty and pleasure, the Pop Collection blends seamlessly into the contents of any makeup bag with beauty-inspired looks,” explained a rep. “This range is a revolutionary addition to the sexual wellness category, encouraging people to feel comfortable and excited to pop their vibrator in their bag and take the fun wherever they go.”

Design Manager Louie McNamara noted that Vush is “pushing the boundaries of what your vibrator can look like.”

“Our design mission was to create products that were cute, fun, compact and endlessly versatile,” he continued. “Their capsule design allows them to be taken on the go, the magnetic charging allows the products to be 100% waterproof and saves sending batteries to landfill and the medical grade silicone means they can be used — and feel great — on any part of the body. The overall beauty-inspired design of the collection acknowledges that not everyone is ready to shout from the rooftops about their vibrators — yet.”

The Pop Collection offers “a high-quality and cost-effective option within the existing sex toy category,” the rep noted, featuring beauty-fit names such as Gloss Bullet Vibrator ($40 USD), Plump Palm Vibrator ($55 USD), Swish Dual Tip Vibrator ($55 USD) and Shine G-Spot Vibrator ($65 USD).

The collection also includes the Pop Bundle ($185 USD) with all four toys. “You’ll be spoiled for choice,” said the rep.

General Manager Jess Gomes added “our mission of ‘More Self Love’ has been at the heart of everything we do — and why shouldn’t self love and self pleasure be fun?”

“We’re changing the game and shifting away from all that seriousness normally associated with the category and injecting a big element of curious and courageous fun,” Gomes said. “Our beauty-inspired Pop Collection embodies all the things we love as a brand and empowers our customers to embrace and have fun with their pleasure, everywhere they go. A gorgeous Plump vibe that you would mistake as a beauty blender? A sweet and discreet lip gloss-inspired addition for your makeup bag? Yes, please, and thank you.”

Exsens Rebrands Lip Gloss Line, Adds ‘Coconut Hot Kiss’ Flavor

Exsens Rebrands Lip Gloss Line, Adds 'Coconut Hot Kiss' Flavor

PARIS — Exsens has announced a rebranding of their vegan Arousal Lip Gloss line, and a new flavor, Coconut Hot Kiss.

The company hopes the new “Hot Kiss” rebranding will open new markets and target a younger demographic.

“Coconut Hot Kiss launched at the beginning of the month and is already flying off the shelves,” said a rep.

North American Brand Manager Rebecca Pinette-Dorin explained that Exsens wanted “a name that was more in tune with the product. ‘Arousal Lip Gloss’ was a little too pedestrian and took us away from what this product is really about: kissing.”

“We hope this rebranding will inspire customers to take their make-out sessions to the next level,” Pinette-Dorin added. “Of course, our formula is still body-safe and sugar-free, so if the kissing happens to lead to other things — no worries.”

MindGeek Issues Statement About GirlsDoPorn Settlement

MindGeek Issues Statement About GirlsDoPorn Settlement

MONTREAL — A MindGeek representative released a statement to Canada’s CTV News regarding the company’s recent settlement with 50 models over Pornhub’s distribution of GirlsDoPorn (GDP) content.

The models’ lawyer, Brian Holm, told Vice’s tech vertical Motherboard Saturday that the parties “reached a mutual resolution to resolve the dispute and the terms are confidential.”

The lawsuit against MindGeek was filed in December 2020 by Holm, the same attorney who represented the models in the earlier civil lawsuit against GDP and its owner Michael Pratt, which unravelled when a parallel investigation by the FBI resulted in criminal indictments for human trafficking and sexual assault charges.

Yesterday, an official MindGeek representative issued a rare company statement to CTV News emphasizing that, while he could not comment on the particulars of the confidential settlement with the models, “MindGeek has zero tolerance for the posting of illegal content on its platforms, and has instituted a comprehensive, industry-leading trust and safety policy to identify and eradicate any illegal material from its community.”

“We are committed to remaining at the forefront of internet safety,” the rep continued, “and taking every measure to prevent bad actors from posting illegal content online.”
