Conservative Commentators Candace Owens, Ben Shapiro Deliver Anti-Porn Tirade

WASHINGTON — Conservative commentators Candace Owens and Ben Shapiro delivered a scathing anti-porn tirade last week on “The Ben Shapiro Show,” which streams on right-wing news site The Daily Wire.

Both media personalities host Daily Wire shows. Their anti-porn screed, featured in a YouTube excerpt titled “How Porn Is Destroying Society,” was delivered during a segment with Owens appearing as Shapiro’s guest.

Shapiro mentioned that Owens, his colleague, had done an episode of her new DailyWire+ show the day before, about “the normalization of pornography in the culture.”

“It’s the stuff that you can do better than pretty much anyone else,” Shapiro told Owens, “because No. 1, if I talk about the normalization of pornography in the culture, I’m a sexist, but if you talk about the normalization of pornography in the culture, then you’re a feminist, so it’s good — you can say these things.”

Owens explained that she had been prompted by a conversation she had with her husband.

“My husband,” she told the audience, “completely abstains from social media, and if you ask him, he just casually says, ‘Because it’s all pornography.’

“He’s talking about Instagram, he’s talking about Facebook,” Owens continued, incongruously naming two platforms noted for not allowing any form of nudity. “He’s talking about opening up a page and looking at the Daily Mail.”

Owens: Instagram is ‘Nothing but Butts and People’s Tits’

“We’ve become so desensitized to it,” Owens opined. “So when I’m on Instagram, I don’t even pay attention to the fact that actually there’s just nothing but butts and people’s tits on the Internet at all times.”

Owens also said she was “listening to a Catholic podcast and they were talking about how even the seeds that are being planted on porn websites — which I did visit yesterday — are all incestuous,” a phenomenon she tenuously linked to a current news item claiming that Kim Kardashian “orchestrated” the release of her famous sex tape with help from her mother, Kris Kardashian.

Shapiro then chimed in, alleging that the story is being “completely ignored by the mainstream media” but “paid attention to in the subculture of the internet because you’re not allowed to report that Kim Kardashian has obviously exploited her body for money.

“And it’s not as though Kim Kardashian has cooled it recently,” Shapiro continued, seemingly trying to shame the the popular reality TV personality and businesswoman. “I mean, she recently appeared on the cover of Interview magazine wearing nothing on her bottom…”

The Mainstreaming of Porn: ‘This Is All Bad.’

Shapiro took advantage of the exchange to plug his 2004 book, “Porn Generation,” decrying “how pornography was being absolutely mainstreamed, how people who had been porn stars were now being made into mainstream cultural figures.”

Owens then blamed pornography’s effect on modern culture for what she called “a debate” in which, she asserted, people are claiming that “pedophilia is okay” and that “children can pick their gender, children can be sexual beings.”

Shapiro continuing blaming what he called “really sickening stuff” on “the mainstreaming of pornography.”

“It really is an amazing story,” he continued, “because the fact is that back in the 1970s, the feminist movement said pornography is exploitative, because it obviously is. It’s pandering to the worst in men, it’s pandering to male desires, it is causing women to have to exploit their bodies in order to get attention. This is all bad.”

However, Shapiro claimed, “then the feminist movement shifted in the 1980s and 1990s and suddenly pornography became ‘empowering.’ In fact, you’ll have, you know, Hillary Clinton going around the country and doing doing a TV series on ‘gutsy women’ and the people that she’s interviewing very often are people who are exploiting their bodies, obviously for for fame and fortune.”

Shapiro then claimed that there is “an entire subpopulation — I would imagine now it’s probably approaching a majority of the male population of the United States — that, if not addicted to pornography … uses pornography regularly.”

Owens: Porn is a Massive Government Conspiracy

Owens then pivoted to a conspiracy theory: that the growing acceptance of pornography is attributable to a nefarious plot by some people in “the government,” which seeks to “be omnipotent in our lives” and therefore “needs to make sure that it is routinely denigrating the idea of the nuclear family unit, which stands in the way of a government and omnipotence and so that’s what we’re seeing and that’s what we’re talking about on the show.”

Owens urged Shapiro’s viewers to “pay attention to the various ways that they are attacking the family: it’s through pornography.”

Owens lamented that when she was in school, she was taught in health class that “partaking in pornography as an observer of pornography, watching porn, was a healthy thing” and that “it’s a good thing for your relationship for you to sit in a room, do something shameful and observe other people having sex on the internet.”

Owens concluded by saying she wanted young people to know that “what you’re learning in the public school system is not correct. What they’re trying to do is — create you — turn you into basically a government slave.”

Jennifer Steele Embarks on NYC Media Tour Promoting Memoir ‘Adult Agency’

NEW YORK — Retired performer Jennifer Steele’s self-released memoir “Adult Agency” is now available for purchase on Amazon.

Now known as Jennifer Steele Mondello, she will be embarking on a week-long media tour in New York City.

“Adult Agency,” a rep noted, “is about the importance of respecting boundaries, as illustrated by [Steele’s] 10 years in the porn industry.

The memoir alleges Steele was raped by Ron Jeremy in 1997, and describes the author as “an outspoken victim-witness against Ron Jeremy’s behavior.”

“I’ve been telling the same story for twenty-five years and finally it’s believable,” Steele said, adding that her book illustrates how “a serial rapist” escaped accountability “for years regardless of all of the red flags.”

“The first step in fixing the problem is recognizing the problem,” she added. “My story is only one of thousands.”

As XBIZ has been reporting, Jeremy is currently awaiting trial in Los Angeles, where he has remained in jail since his arrest in June 2020.

The criminal case has been at a standstill since presiding Judge George Lomeli’s March 17 decision to suspend proceedings after he received reports from Goldfarb and the bailiff that the defendant was “incoherent” and could not be transported to court. Judge Lomeli then referred the case to a mental health courthouse for a decision on Jeremy’s ability to stand trial.

The case has now been postponed until Oct. 3.

According to her IAFD page, Steele has almost 70 credits as a performer released between 1999 and 2019.

Jennifer Steele Mondello’s New York City media tour includes appearances at: “It’s AGTV” today at 3 p.m.; “The Derek and Romaine Show,” tomorrow at noon; “In Hot Water,” Wednesday at noon, “The Chip Chipperson Podcast,” Wednesday at 2 p.m.; “How to Do Drugs,” Wednesday at 4 p.m.; “Golden Artist Entertainment,” Thursday at 10 a.m.; and “High Society Radio,” Thursday at 3:30 p.m. All times are PDT.

Steele will also be touring promoting her book in Florida, California and at the upcoming Exxxotica Expo in Edison, New Jersey.

Maitland Ward Gives In-Depth Interview to Daily Beast About Memoir ‘Rated X’

NEW YORK — The Daily Beast published today an in-depth interview with Maitland Ward, promoting her recently released memoir, “Rated X.”

The in-person interview, conducted by Senior Entertainment Editor Marlow Stern at the publication’s New York headquarters, is headlined “Maitland Ward Gave Up Sitcom Stardom for Porn. And She’s Happier Than Ever.”

In his introduction, Stern retells the journey of how “the fun redhead on the seminal ABC sitcom ‘Boy Meets World,’ has transformed into an award-winning porn star whose mission is to shatter the divide between mainstream and adult films,” and calls “Rated X” a “page-turner of a memoir.”

Ward expanded on the book’s stories, with new revelations about what her family thinks about her career and her role as Rachel in “Boy Meets World.”

“I came in as this tall girl with red hair, and I was only a couple of years older than him,” Ward said of the sitcom’s male star, Ben Savage, currently running for a seat on the West Hollywood City Council. “But they had all grown up with each other on the show and I was this new, exotic thing — this unicorn in the wild that he was trying to discover.”

Ward added that the creators of “Boy Meets World” wanted her to be “this sexual butt of the joke on the show, but at the same time they were saying, ‘Oh, we’re not doing that — and you shouldn’t be doing that outside of work.’ Looking back, I didn’t even conceptualize how much Rachel was used as a sexual prop on the show — like me choking on a hot dog and Matt Lawrence coming up behind me and giving me the Heimlich but thrusting me over the counter.”

The reigning XBIZ Performer of the Year said she doesn’t know “why people want me to be this ‘good girl’ but also ‘sexy-sexy.’ It’s really bizarre. And on ‘Boy Meets World,’ it was amplified all the time, and it got me really confused. When I had to dance around in lingerie and be half-naked and the butt of the jokes, that was one thing, but then, yeah, you immediately step off the soundstage and it’s like, ‘You don’t shame yourself.’”

Stern also asked Ward about her complicated relationship with former friend and “White Girls” co-star Terry Crews, currently a notorious anti-porn activist and propagandist for the discredited theory of supposedly cocaine-like “porn addiction.”

“Once I got into anything ‘adult’ he immediately unfollowed me on Twitter and had to push me away like that,” Ward revealed. “It’s not like we were close, but it was a nice friendship. I’d see him at events and stuff. But he came out so hard against porn, sex work, and sex industries, because he has a problem with sex addiction — which is his deal. People have their own problems, but that doesn’t mean you get to make the decisions for everyone … He comes out and tries to destroy all porn careers, and all their livelihoods, and encourages his followers to do so — and it’s not that he even comes out against it, but he’s this vigilante against it.”

The Vixen Media Group contract star also described her working relationship with Deeper’s Kayden Kross, which she said “gives me a chance to be able to play out such wonderfully scripted pieces, and have a high budget for big films.

“We’re doing this five-part film series now, ‘Drift,’ and it’s sort of a metaphor to my story — a much darker, devious metaphor,” Ward added. “I play this Hollywood sitcom star and then off-stage I go into the night, engage in all these sexual escapades, and really discover myself. It’s like ‘Natural Born Killers’ meets ‘WandaVision’ … We’ve always wanted to incorporate good filmmaking with hot sex. That was my dream in the beginning, and I was really fortunate to meet Kayden and for us to collaborate. We really want to bridge mainstream and porn completely, and show the public at large that there can be good filmmaking and hot sex all at once.”

Blake Blossom Slings Webs as Spider-Gwen in Finale of Wicked’s ‘Spideypool XXX’

Blake Blossom Slings Webs as Spider-Gwen in Finale of Wicked's 'Spideypool XXX'

LOS ANGELES, CA — Blake Blossom appears as Spider-Gwen in the final scene of “Spideypool XXX: An Axel Braun Parody,” the latest Wicked Comix superhero spoof, now available on Wicked.com.

Playing the alternate-universe version of Gwen Stacy, Blossom shares an explosive tryst with Tyler Cruise’s Spider-Man.

“It was very important for me to cast the right Gwen,” said director and Wicked Head of Production Axel Braun. “I needed somebody who had an equal mix of innocence, sexuality, and badassery, and Blake was the perfect embodiment of all those qualities. It was my first time working with her, and before I cast her I gave her the same speech I give everybody else: ‘Look, this is not for everybody. It’s gonna be long hours on set, tons of costume fittings, and as many takes as I need to make this perfect.’”

Blossom enthused about playing the female web-slinger.

“Being cast as Gwen Stacy has been the highlight of my career,” she said. “I was so excited to be brought onto the project and could not wait to get to my first fitting. I haven’t worn a mask in any of my scenes so it was a fun challenge to take on. Tyler was a wonderful scene partner and we had so much fun rehearsing our lines! Being the new addition to the Marvel AxelVerse is such an honor and I’m looking forward to seeing where Gwen’s story takes her next.”

The final scene also “resolves the contentious yet hilarious ‘bromance’ between Spider-Man and Deadpool (Seth Gamble),” said a rep.

Gamble, portraying the “merc with a mouth” throughout the Marvel AxelVerse, expressed his enthusiasm about “Spideypool” and his admiration for Braun.

“I’m so proud of what we’ve all accomplished with this movie,” he said. “The experience was amazing, and I knew right out the gate we were going to create something that would have the comic fans overjoyed and excited.  It is by far the funniest film I’ve ever had the honor of being a part of and there’s no doubt that I have to thank Axel Braun for this. I know I’ve said this in many different ways, but he truly has been such a teacher and friend to me and I still am in awe every single day, seeing the drive and the consistency in his commitment to deliver such detailed movies that are love letters to the fans.”

The final episode of “Spideypool XXX: An Axel Braun Parody,” featuring Blake Blossom and Tyler Cruise, is now available exclusively on Wicked.com.
