2024 XBIZ Awards Cements Tradition of Inclusivity

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Unlike the inclement weather that greeted last year’s XBIZ Awards ceremony, the storm gods and the porn gods seemingly brokered a truce on Sunday night, parting the looming clouds over Hollywood and mercifully sparing the glitzed-out throng of adult performers and industry figures from an umbrella-mandatory edition of the 2024 XBIZ Awards, the adult entertainment industry’s biggest night.

As the crowds of pornaratti strode the red carpet, located on iconic Sunset Boulevard right outside the historic Hollywood Palladium, a battery of illuminating flashes from the assembled media captured them in their swankiest grandeur.

As nominees were interviewed by red carpet host Alexis Fawx, attendees mingled at the newly redesigned Palladium bar, which still retains the old-timey aura that made it a celebrated haunt of spinning swing dancers in the Sinatra generation.

The festive occasion, as is the case every year, lent itself to meeting new friends, encountering online pals IRL, and getting to socialize with fellow performers minus the pressures that come with having to deliver a great scene — or make small talk in the buff.

After the crowd was ushered into the Palladium ballroom, transformed into a marvelous awards venue to rival any similar mainstream event, the lights dimmed and it was time for XBIZ’s signature rock rendition of “The Star Spangled Banner.” This was followed by porn’s version of the pledge of allegiance, an invitation to inclusivity and pride for the entire community.

Dazzling the capacity crowd of industry grandees were the evening’s hosts: incumbent XBIZ Performer of the Year Cherie DeVille in a flawless golden va-va-voom gown, and reigning Trans Performer of the Year Emma Rose, living out her every princess fantasy complete with flowing blue-and-white dress and glittering tiara.

DeVille offered a super-inclusive welcome: “Ladies, gentlemen, nonbinary whores, dominant daddies and my personal favorite, stepsons across the globe!”

The hosts then flirted with each other, exchanging increasingly heated bits of salacious banter.

“Good girl,” DeVille cooed, to which Rose responded, “Thank you, Mommy!” — only to be gently chided that she should have said “Stepmommy” because “Mastercard might be watching.”

“I am the very first-ever trans host of the XBIZ Awards!” Rose proudly announced.

“Yes, a trans icon hosting the XBIZ Awards!” DeVille confirmed. “It is fucking delicious and I think we should all be giving it up for Emma right now.” The crowd obliged with a massive ovation, as Rose twirled in delight.

Both hosts reiterated the theme of championing inclusivity in the industry — one of XBIZ’s chief stated missions in the community.

“We love every single person in this room, am I right?” DeVille asked the audience, who assented enthusiastically.

“All genders, races, sizes and ages — 18-plus, of course!” Rose added.

“Damn straight, Emma,” DeVille said.

“And damn gay, and bi and pan, and every damn color of the rainbow, baby!” Rose retorted.

Lead-off presenters Kendra Sunderland, in a pink minidress with pearl appliqués, and Nicole Doshi, in transparent metallic grey, announced that the award for Performer Showcase of the Year went to “Influence: Vanna Bardot.”

Barely clad in what was quite possibly the least fabric-onerous garment of the entire evening, Bardot took to the stage to accept the award for her ambitious five-part all-anal crossover showcase in collaboration with Vixen Media Group. She thanked VMG’s Mike Miller and Mike Moz for giving her the opportunity to show the world what she is capable of, director Derek Dozer and screenwriter Kayden Kross, and the award voters for recognizing all of the hard work that went into “Influence.”

“And thank you to every performer in this showcase who fucked my ass!” she concluded.

Doshi and Sunderland next announced the category Best Sex Scene in a Performer Showcase. The winner was a group scene in Brazzers exclusive Luna Star’s spy-themed vehicle “Seduce and Destroy,” co-starring Mick Blue, Damon Dice and Oliver Flynn.

The curvaceous Star, wearing a skintight sparkling bodysuit and escorted onstage by the always debonair Blue, thanked Brazzers, her co-stars and agent Mark Spiegler, and reflected on the sexual acrobatics of the winning scene.

“It was this crazy position I had never done before,” she revealed. “We did so many crazy things to make this happen!”

The next presenters were Demi Sutra and Kimmy Granger, both in minidresses, who announced the winner for Featurette of the Year. The trophy went to the makers of labor-of-love short “Hopeless,” a carefully crafted piece of filmmaking produced by Holly Randall, written and directed by Jeffrey John Hart and starring Casey Calvert and Lumi Ray as star-crossed friends and lovers.

Visibly stunned, industry veteran Randall told the audience she had never won an award before.

“However, as much as I would love to take credit for this movie, it was this man’s dream,” she declared, pointing at Hart. “This was a grassroots production. It was completely self-produced. So many amazing people here worked for free. Jeff wrote, directed, shot, edited, scored everything.”

Hart thanked Calvert and Codey Steele — both onstage trying to FaceTime Ray, who was in Paris — as well as Ivy Wolfe and the production crew.

“We want to make another movie, so hit up Holly!” Hart encouraged the applauding attendees.

Steele, in a suitably star-studded suit, left the stage — only to quickly make his way back after Sutra and Granger announced that the award for Best Sex Scene in a Featurette went to his tryst with Anna Claire Clouds in Pure Taboo’s stepfamily-themed “Polar Opposites.”

“Thank you so much to Cody for fucking the shit out of me,” Clouds declared. “It was so much fun!” She also thanked the studio for letting the pair improvise their dialogue and collaborate on the scene, and her agency, OC Modeling. Steele thanked his scene partner in turn, and also singled out for praise the work of “Polar Opposites” director Seth Gamble.

The next awards were introduced by Britney Amber, Leana Lovings and TruKait, all shining examples of the ever-growing population of performers who are also independent creators. They first presented the award for Creator Site of the Year to Fansly.

“It’s been a really intense few years of building this platform for you guys,” said the company’s director of marketing, Leah. “We’re so proud to represent loudly and proudly sex work and we just love you guys! We’ve tripled our staff in the last year. We want to keep coming in and fucking kicking ass and taking names for you guys. Come yell at us. We want to hear your feedback. We want to hear what you love and what you hate. Thank you for having us. We appreciate you!”

Next, the Freemium Cam Site of the Year trophy went to Chaturbate, which sent several of its most prominent broadcasters up onstage to accept it.

“I’ve personally been camming on Chaturbate for almost nine years now,” said Alex Coal. “It’s how I got my start in the industry.”

“I love everything about it!” added Mya Malone.

Real-life besties Romi Rain and Charlotte Stokely presented the award for Best Gonzo Sex Scene to the Manuel Ferrara-centric reverse gangbang “Take Me to Your Breeder,” starring Blake Blossom, Kendra Sunderland, Angela White and Angel Youngs.

“One word: boobs!” said Blossom, as Sunderland giddily giggled.

“Three words,” White corrected. “Big natural boobs!”

The trio thanked Brazzers, director Lea Lexis and Youngs, who was unable to be present at the show.

“And of course, thank you to Manuel Ferrara for fucking us so well,” White added.

“Would love to have a good time with them,” Stokely deadpanned as the boobie-ful trio left the stage. It was then time for the industry’s favorite Sapphic blonde, resplendent in a Marilyn-worthy gold gown, to announce the winner in her very own signature category: Best All-Girl Sex Scene.

“I think I know a thing or two about girls,” Stokely ad-libbed, before proceeding to passionately make out with gal pal Rain, which set the whole Palladium hootin’ and hollerin’.

The winners were top lesbian MILFs Penny Barber and Serene Siren, for their brunette-blonde pair-up “Through My Window” for AllHerLuv.

Barber accepted the award for the duo, thanking publicist Erika Icon — as well as her husband, for sacrificing everything to support her.

“I would not be here without you, baby!” she proclaimed. “Thank you so much. And later, if you want to spit in my face while I hold the trophy, that’s cool with me. Or if any of you ladies onstage want to spit in my face, that’s cool too. I love pussy!”

Afficionados and afficionadas of ample bosoms were once again in luck as Lily Lou and Abigaiil Morris, awards-night outfits struggling to contain their exuberant figures, took the stage to present the award for Best Career-First Performance Sex Scene.

The winner was Lilly Bell, for her work alongside co-stars Richard Mann, Jax Slayher, Hollywood Cash, Jamie Knoxx, Don Sudan and King Frank in the Blacked gangbang “People Pleaser.”

“This is crazy!” an overwhelmed and newly brunette Bell told the audience as she held up the trophy. Bell thanked her family, Ricky Greenwood, her publicist and agent Mark Spiegler, then said, “I remember sitting in my room at home in Portland and being like, ‘I wonder if I’ll ever win one of these.’ And now I’m standing right here. I went through a lot this year, medically, but this is just… everything. It’s just major.

“And all the beautiful men that fucked me!” she added. “I can’t wait to do another gangbang where I get fucked in my ass.”

Next came one of the evening’s most celebrated moments, as beloved industry multi-hyphenate and newly anointed XBIZ Award-winning producer Holly Randall returned to the stage to present one of XBIZ’s rarest accolades, the Pioneer Award, to someone very near and dear to her.

“This past week, I was honored with a request to be a part of a women directors panel at XBIZ LA,” Randall began. “I got to share the stage with some really incredible and inspiring women, people whom I consider to be the backbone of the industry today. And as I looked around at my fellow panelists, reflecting on how it wasn’t always this way, it made me think about the person I’m here to honor today, and everything that she had to go through to become a success story.

“She began as the first female staff photographer at Playboy in the mid-1970s, moved to a contract with Hustler and eventually branched out to shoot for all the top men’s magazines, and direct some movies of her own. Imagine a world where you are essentially the only female working behind the scenes in an industry run by men, most of whom do not want you there. It was in this world, in the face of some pretty unimaginable misogyny, that this woman clawed her way to the top with a mix of talent, charm and a whole lot of guts.

“This woman has been an incredible source of inspiration to me — I’m going to cry — and I would not be where I am today if it wasn’t for her. Not only because she so graciously let me ride in on her coattails, but because I would literally not be on this Earth if it wasn’t for her. And so it is with the utmost pride that I present the Pioneer Award to my mother, Suze Randall.”

A rousing standing ovation followed, as the screens displayed a montage of images chronicling Suze Randall’s storied career. The very-much still dynamic, take-no-prisoners icon then took to the stage to deliver a stirring speech full of her trademark irreverence, raunch and inspirational delight.

“Wow, what can I say?” the elder Randall began. “I was very lucky. These days, the women rule. It’s amazing. But in those days, I had to kick the men’s asses. I liked it! Because if you’re brave and you’re a woman, you can fuck ’em both ways.”

The crowd — most of whom had not even been born during Randall’s heyday but who nevertheless had been fangirling and fanboying all over her before the ceremony — went wild with cheers.

“I was very lucky, and luckily I fought with all the big boys,” she continued. “They threw me out and I ended up shooting for myself. So when the internet came around, I was the only photographer who owned her own pictures, so I guess bad behavior is a good thing.” More cheers. “I wish I could still behave badly, but I’m having to behave now because of my daughter.”

Randall also thanked her husband and business partner, Humphry Knipe, who passed away a year ago, for being “such a perv.”

”He made me do everything, and he edited everything,” Randall explained. “I just shot and had fun. If it wasn’t for him, I’d still be a nurse!”

“We love you, Dad, and we miss you!” Holly Randall concluded as she walked her mother, the pioneer, offstage as the audience gave them another standing ovation.

Hosts DeVille and Rose, both sporting an outfit change, returned for more saucy banter, reminding the audience that the industry is a pretty amazing community.

“Being in adult, it’s kind of like being in community theater, but with smaller outfits, smaller scripts and a lot bigger…” Rose quipped, leaving the rest to the audience’s imagination.

The next presenters, Regan Foxx and Natassia Dreams, in skintight black and pink respectively, announced the category Vignette Movie of the Year. The award went to the Brazzers comedy “MILFS Take Miami,” starring a trio of the category’s top stars: Alexis Fawx, Natasha Nice and CJ Miles.

“Let’s go, Miami!” the stars cheered.

After exhorting the crowd to amp up their energy, Dreams announced the winners for Best Vignette Sex Scene: Vicki Chase, Dan Damage, Alex Jones and Richard Mann, for their airtight scene in Deeper’s “Mouths of Babes Part 2.”

Chase thanked her scene partners for “rocking her holes,” and Deeper creator Kayden Kross for her “talent and brilliance.”

“It was a very long day, but we got through it,” Jones added. “I think the three of us got a lot closer that day and became good friends.”

Kazumi and Jewelz Blu presented the award for Best Trans Sex Scene, which went to Brittney Kade and Dante Colle for their scene in Digital Playground’s post-apocalyptic “Wasteland Ultra” — and then for Best Sex Scene in a Feature Movie, which went to the ambitious orgy scene that is the centerpiece of Dorcel’s “Climax 3.”

Several of the “Climax 3” group scene performers, including Alexis Tae, Lilly Bell, Kira Noir, Maya Woulfe, Nathan Bronson, Alex Jones and Isiah Maxwell, came onstage.

“This is so cool!” Tae enthused. “Five years in, my first XBIZ Award — and it’s for literally my favorite thing ever, which is an orgy. I want to thank all of these hot people who fucked me, and also Kira Noir for doing anal that day when we were all supposed to!”

Noir thanked her agents and director Ricky Greenwood.

“And all these people behind me that I got to taste!” she added.

Bell offered, “It was amazing being the center of attention and getting all the cum on me, and having all those beautiful people that I got to have sex with this year. I got to have so many great sex scenes, and this one was one of them. I remember thinking that this would be a highlight that I’ll always look back on.”

“I wish I could do it again with all of you!” Maxwell added.

Next up were cosmopolitan stunners Bridgette B and Cherry Kiss, to announce the Best Lead Acting award. The honor in this highly competitive category was bestowed upon Nicole Kitt for ERIKALUST’s period piece “Ashford Manor,” directed by Inka Winters.

Kitt, who is active on both side of the Atlantic and also won the 2023 XBIZ Europas award for Best Acting, thanked Winter and Lust for giving her the showcases that enabled her transcontinental back-to-back accolades.

The next category announced was Director of the Year — Body of Work (Narrative). The winner was Ricky Greenwood.

Dapper in a blue velvet blazer, Greenwood thanked publicist Erika Icon and the studios he worked for, including Digital Playground, Adult Time, Dorcel and Model Media. He then added, “Yes, I get the award for best director but I can’t do anything without my crew: Matty Holder, Manny, Shawn, Andy, Carrie, Dante, everybody else here. You do a great job and you help me be great. I love you guys!”

Multi-XBIZ-Award winners Kira Noir and Jane Wilde presented the award for Gay Feature of the Year. The winner was “For You I Will,” a Disruptive Films production directed by the powerhouse team of Siouxsie Q and Michael Vegas.

The pair thanked leads Dante Colle and Carter Woods, as well as the writing and production teams. Producer Jessica Jasmin then joined them to thank studio mastermind Bree Mills.

“She believed in me,” Jasmin said. “She believed in me and she gave me this project. So thank you, Bree. Thank you for giving me Disruptive.”

The Gay Performer of the Year award went to Derek Kage, who joked, “The ‘Gay Twitter’ haters are going to just lose their shit over this!” He then thanked “every studio every director, performer, producer, all the way to the PAs.”

“Without y’all, I would not be standing here,” Kage declared. “I also want to thank the fans, and I definitely want to take this opportunity to thank the Free Speech Coalition. They are on the front lines, fighting the battles that keep us able to do what we do, so donate to them. Become a member, become a patron!”

Melissa Stratton, in an Ava Gardner-esque red gown, and Kayley Gunner, evoking Gina Lollobrigida in shimmering pink, announced the Girl/Girl Performer of the Year category and nominees.

The winner was the statuesque Giselle Blanco, who radiated her signature warmth in an emotional speech about how much she loves “pussy and fucking beautiful people.”

“Beautiful women and nonbinary people!” she said. “I wasn’t expecting this. I’m on my period. I’m so emotional right now!”

After thanking her agents, Blanco acknowledged the many beautiful women she has gotten to work with during the past year. “

You guys are fucking incredible!” she said. “I love the taste of each and every one of you.”

The title of MILF Performer of the Year went to Lauren Phillips, sporting the evening’s most dramatic makeup and hair design, perfectly merging glam and goth sensibilities.

The Adult Time ambassador and veteran performer thanked her agents at Nexxxt Level and her publicist, Erika Icon.

“I want to thank everyone I’ve worked with,” she added, before addressing the whole room. “And I want to thank my porn family, because you guys are the ones that I care about the most and you’re my community.”

Aubrey Kate and Skye Blue presented the trophy for Trans Movie of the Year to Transfixed’s runaway hit “Office Ms. Conduct.”

Jane Wilde and Kira Noir held the applause until co-star Ariel Demure — in a vintage-inspired look that evoked the Palladium’s historic heyday — made her way onstage.

“We’re grateful, we’re here, we’re present,” Demure told the crowd, before touching upon a truth now proved many times over: “And I’m not going to talk anymore about how trans sells!”

Co-director Suzie Q thanked Adult Time and Bree Mills, to which Michael Vegas added, “Go watch this movie, you will laugh hysterically the entire time! It is so good.”

Kate then presented the award for Trans Performer of the Year, with the title going to none other than the evening’s co-host and reigning holder of the title, Emma Rose, whom the stage announcer declared the current undisputed “Queen of Trans,” now officially a two-years-in-a-row, back-to-back winner.

“I put my blood, sweat and tears — and cum! — all over this year,” said an exhilarated Rose. She thanked publicist Lainie Speiser, then added, “It’s been an amazing year. I thought 2022 was crazy, but 2023 has been even crazier — and I cannot wait to see what I do for 2024!”

Siri Dahl, in a skintight cream number, and Blake Blossom, sheathed in brown vinyl with a front-side slit up to “there,” presented the award for Cam Model of the Year to globe-trotting industry and fan favorite Chloe Wildd.

“I started camming three years ago, and I’m so honored to be here today,” Wildd, in midriff-baring white, told the audience. “I want to thank my fans for being the best ones ever. I want to thank Chaturbate for being such a great platform and giving me the opportunity to be myself and realize my dream. And I want to thank my husband for being with me since Day 1 — always my biggest fan.”

Dahl and Blossom next presented the award for Clip Artist of the Year to collab royalty couple Hailey Rose and Max Fills.

“We started this a year ago,” said Rose. “I never imagined myself standing onstage. I’ve had the most amazing time meeting all of you and becoming friends with so many people. I love you. Thanks for letting me be a crazy slut online and supporting it!”

“Shout out to both our families for being supportive,” Fills added. “I love everyone here!”

“Future collab!” Blossom quipped at the lovey-dovey couple, before moving on to the category of Premium Social Media Star of the Year. That trophy went to America’s Top Waifu herself, popular creator and performer Violet Myers, who had left the Palladium temporarily to go home and feed her cats, and therefore accepted the award via a cellphone that Dahl held up to the mic, to the cheers and delight of the audience.

Brand-new winner Vicky Chase and evergreen icon Jennifer White teamed up to announce the award for Feature Movie of the Year, which went to “Influence: Vanna Bardot.”

“I’m so glad I can be up on the stage with my co-star Vicky Chase,” Bardot said. “This movie means so fucking much to me! It’s inspired by my life, but it’s also very crazy. Just so much hard work went into this movie, two weeks straight-up of just nonstop anal, acting — just craziness, and I couldn’t be more thankful.”

Then it was time for the final stretch, as White announced XBIZ’s Best New Performer of 2024. The winner was multimedia creative artist Queenie Sateen, who also enjoys thriving careers as a musician, fashion model and all-around style icon.

“Holy shit, this is so surreal!” a stunned Sateen, impeccable as always in a fashion-forward light-pink gown, told the Palladium. “I’m just a weird bitch from New York. I was in a cult disco band, but to be winning an award for anything is insane to me. Thank you to all the people I fucked this year! I’m in shock.”

It was now down to the traditional final three categories. Alexis Fawx presented the Male Performer of the Year award to the prolific Zac Wild, known for being held in high regard by his scene partners. Wild’s acceptance speech was a veritable tour de force.

“Are you fucking kidding me right now?” he began, with the deliberate, breathless cadences of an auctioneer or a revival preacher. “This was seriously the last thing I expected. How much time do I have? Not enough time to thank all the people in here! The people who love me, the people who hate me. Ladies and gentlemen, I was picked out of an ocean of dicks dying to get into this industry in 2018. I had been told by every scout and agency for 10 years from 2008 to 2018 that I would never make it. ‘You’re not big enough. You’re not tall enough. You don’t have enough hair. Your dick’s not big enough.’ I am so grateful for this.”

Wild then recited, from memory, Rudyard Kipling’s famous inspirational poem “If,” in its entirety, all the way from “If you can keep your head when all about you / Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, / If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you …” down to the final “If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you, / If all men count with you, but none too much; / If you can fill the unforgiving minute / With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run, / Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it, / And — which is more — you’ll be a Man, my son!”

“That was amazing,” Fawx said, giving voice to the whole audience’s reaction, before moving on to the next main event: Female Performer of the Year.

In a crowded field of worthy candidates, an unquestionably deserving Vanna Bardot won this top accolade — for the second year in a row.

“I really don’t know what to say!” Bardot admitted. “Thank you for recognizing all the hard work I put in this past year. It was one of the biggest years of my life, with some of the biggest projects I think I’ll ever do.”

Finally, Deeper star, bestselling author, Fleshlight girl and 2022 XBIZ Performer of the Year Maitland Ward took the stage to reveal the night’s topmost accolade.

The overall Performer of the Year, Ward said — creating a crescendo of suspense to cap off the show — was someone who went above and beyond the call of stardom.

“To be Performer of the Year,” she noted, “means to not only be prolific, delivering high-impact scenes. It also means to be an entrepreneur, a community figure and a role model who exemplifies what it means to be on top of one’s game. It’s all about uplifting the community, innovating and evolving adult to be a better and brighter future.”

The person embodying those qualities, whom she then crowned as 2024 XBIZ Performer of the Year, was Seth Gamble.

“I was not expecting this at all!” Gamble said.

After graciously acknowledging the many female performers with whom he has worked — virtually every starlet in the business — as well as wife Kenzie Taylor, his production crews and associates, companies like Gamma, Wicked, Adult Time and his own new studio, LucidFlix, plus his many mentors, Gamble concluded by saying, “I just want to keep making great work and I just want to make great things with you guys. Thank you so much! I love every single one of you. I love this industry and I want to just keep seeing it get better. Let’s keep making this industry better, please.”

And with that, this year’s XBIZ Awards became one for the books, providing a fittingly inspiring start to a sure-to-be-epic 2024.

LeWood Drops Latest ‘Next Gen Gone Wild’

An army of eager fans marched its way along Sunset Boulevard and through Hollywood in a line stretching several blocks, before being ushered into the historic Hollywood Palladium, where the resplendently decked-out cream of the A-list adult industry waited to greet them, chat with them, pose with them and show off the latest in content delivery technologies, as the 2024 X3 Expo kicked off on Friday.

X3 Expo Day 2 Delivers Fresh Thrills, Multimedia Delights

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — A persistent light drizzle could not deter the massive throng of fans snaking their way around the historic Hollywood Palladium and up the street for several blocks, or dampen their excitement to get inside and start enjoying the assemblage of adult stars, wild events and new technologies on hand Saturday as Day 2 of the 2024 X3 Expo kicked into gear.

Upon stepping onto the main event floor, one of the first sights to greet attendees was the fan-favorite YourPaysitePartner (YPP) booth, centrally located and bustling with talent and visitors throughout the day. YPP, a premier purveyor of solutions for paysite operators, clip store owners, models and producers, provided signing space to several of its partner sites, including Seth Gamble’s LucidFlix, Brad Newman’s S3xus, AltErotic, PurgatoryX, FreakMob Media.

The indisputable star of the YPP booth, however, was Ricky’s Room, brainchild of multitalented Ricky Johnson. After exceeding expectations for what a creator-led paysite can achieve and becoming an audience fave and critical phenomenon — all in less than two years — Ricky’s Room returned to X3 Expo for the second year in a row.

“We are so happy to be here with our partner YPP,” Johnson said. “Having us here works as a showcase, because if you’re a performer and you want to get your site hosted, you come over to YPP. We’re a family.”

The Ricky’s Room friendly takeover of the YPP booth featured a red-and-black color scheme, the site’s signature red-satin-sheeted bed and one of the most star-studded lineups of signing talent in the entire expo: Kylie Rocket, Blake Blossom, Alexis Tae, Ivy Lebelle, Angel Youngs, Kazumi, Jewelz Blu, Nicole Doshi, Connie Perignon, Emma Magnolia, Baby Gemini, Lacey Jayne, Jenna Foxx, Morgan Lee, Willow Ryder, Anna-Claire Clouds, Erotic Medusa and many others. Some performers took advantage of the red bed to offer PG-rated lap dances on the show floor.

“As we’re speaking right now, Gem Jewels is writhing on some very, very lucky fan,” Johnson marveled in appreciation of the very close-by display of pro twerking. “There we go! Next year we’ll have two red beds. Yeah, more beds!”

Rocket testified, “I love the fans, the bed and just meeting and networking. Every now and then, I just get on the bed and take pictures myself! A lot of performers just come over here and hang out too, since they know Ricky so they know it’s going to be very chill.”

Rocket also praised Johnson’s site for offering content that she described as both “very sexy and very raw.”

“When Ricky just asks me to shoot or do his booth, I always say yes,” she added. “He’s just awesome.”

Lebelle, who traveled all the way from the East Coast to sign at the Ricky’s Room booth, shared the enthusiasm.

“For the last three years, Ricky is the only person that I shoot for, aside from my own content,” she revealed. “We have amazing chemistry and the way he shoots the women is so stunning. He makes us all look absolutely perfect. I was honored when he asked me to sign.”

Newcomer Gemini, who only began shooting pro adult scenes very recently, seemed dazzled by the star power at X3 Expo.

“It’s honestly exhilarating,” she said. “It’s so meaningful, seeing all the people I know and admire. The show and Ricky’s booth are a really good environment. It feels good on the heart.”

Tattooed breakout sensation Perignon was also making her X3 signing debut at the Ricky’s Room booth.

“I didn’t really know what to expect, but there’s been a consistent line for the whole day,” Perignon said. “It’s really awesome! I’ve done at least 20 lap dances in Ricky’s red bed. X3 is way different from other shows, because it’s more intimate and you get to really feel all the fan interactions.”

The always ebullient Doshi was also fully X3-pilled by her maiden experience at the show.

“A lot of fans usually just see me on the screen when they’re watching my videos,” she said. “But when they come out here, and they bring gifts for me and get my autograph, I can give them lap dances — and get close enough to tell that they are getting very happy!”

To kick off the first stage event of the day, the announcer summoned gamers, fans and talent to come watch the Mario Kart competition. Projected onto the ultrabig screen from a Switch, the iconic racing game lit up the Palladium as competitors Jane Wilde, Elly Clutch, Chloe Foxxe and Kiara Cole swiveled joysticks while hooping and hollering with competitive zeal.

After dozens of turtle shells, lightning bolts and power-ups evened the racing field, it was Clutch who finally edged out her fellow racers, appropriately proving herself a “clutch” performer. All of the women took a bow before the flashing of cameras after the intense series of grand prix matches.

In the Palladium’s swank and storied Champagne Lounge, now temporarily converted into a state-of-the-art screening room, attendees flocked to X3 Expo’s exclusive screenings and Q&A with filmmakers for some of this year’s most cinematic XBIZ Awards contenders.

Wicked Pictures was represented by Seth Gamble’s “Reckless,” an ambitious action saga — in every sense of the word “action.” The director and some of the cast shared the secrets of high-octane, mainstream-aesthetic adult filmmaking with a very inquisitive and enthralled packed audience.

“The questions were so smart,” Gamble reflected after the screening. “The fans really showed up! They wanted to know highly specific, sometimes technical things such as how I chose the colors and did it have anything to do with the emotion of the scenes. They asked me really interesting things about casting too.”

Gamble revealed that, unlike other directors, he likes to cast his movies before he writes them.

“With ‘Reckless,’ I had this weird vision that I wanted these specific people — including Ivy Wolfe and Kenna James,” Gamble noted. “When it came to male performers, it was me, Lexington Steele and Tommy Pistol specifically — we’ve all been around a really long time, and you’ve never really seen a project where we all work together. So it was really about trying to find an ensemble cast that was just epic and people who are really proud of what they do. The fact that everybody was available was such a miracle!”

Although he stressed that in the ensemble cast of “Reckless,” everybody is a lead, Gamble nonetheless reserved particular praise for co-star Ivy Wolfe.

“Ivy is an anomaly,” he mused. “She has the kind of star power that you rarely see in this business. She just has an energy that I’ve never experienced in the industry. She’s so talented and she’s such a sweet soul and human being. I’m just grateful that there’s trust between us and that we’ve been able to make all these amazing projects together — and we will continue, with my new site LucidFlix.”

Front and center on the show floor, Chaturbate COO Shirley Lara surveyed her vibrant domain: a slick central screen-laden installation surrounded by broadcasters simultaneously dazzling adoring stream viewers and engaging with the mega crowd of in-person fans as well.

“For a relatively new fan show such as X3, the fact that it has entered the market space and grown year after year like this, it’s amazing to see,” Lara said. “Chaturbate is here for the fans and content creators. X3 is doing phenomenal for us.”

This year’s edition of the annual cosplay contest was hosted by Naked News’ flirty blonde good-vibes tornado Eila Adams, gone uncharacteristically brunette for the occasions as an extra-sexy version of Wonder Woman.

“Strut your stuff, show everyone why you should win!” she exhorted the participants, who included a pink-bikinied Barbie, a fan-favorite “Femboy Hooters” employee, a Harley Quinn, a soft-spoken Leeloo from “The Fifth Element,” several Marvel and DC superheroes — naturally — and other inventive creators with a penchant for DYI costuming. Adult Time ambassador Leana Lovings creatively explained that she was dressed as “the embodiment of e-girls and fantasy fulfillment everywhere.”

Lulu Tofu, in a short red jacket that identified her as Misato Katsuragi from “Neon Genesis Evangelion,” made it to the final showdown between the two most popular costumes — but was ultimately edged out by the veritable powerhouse of XBIZ and X3 cosplay events: the peerless Chrissy LeBlanc, who chose to embody Beetlejuice and had the entire Palladium crowd chanting that magical invocation, you guessed it, three times.

“I am a big fan of Halloween and horror movies,” LeBlanc explained after the fans cheered her to victory. “I saw that ‘Beetlejuice 2’ is coming out later this year, so I got something in the works to prepare for that. I just had this idea in my head of having sandworms eating my legs, and I couldn’t get it out of my head so I just had to make it happen for X3!”

The reward for her efforts, sandworm stockings and all? A cool grand, courtesy of X3.

“The thousand bucks will come in handy!” LeBlanc said. “I really want a tattoo sleeve — I want a harem of hot mermaids all over my arm.”

The roomy and comfy Adult Time booth offered creators and performers an oasis of calm amid the sparkling hubbub of the expo floor. Deliberately low-key, the area was designed by Chief Creative Officer Bree Mills and her team with a tip of the hat to the brand’s signature minimalism. A plain couch, clear logo and midcentury modern kidney-shaped Scandinavian wood coffee table doubled as the setting for branded vertical-video content-making for social media marketing — further testament to Adult Time’s reputation for efficiency, outside-the-box thinking and marketing savvy.

“Rather than doing a traditional signing booth this year, we felt that since we got a bunch of really good people here repping Adult Time, we’d give them a cool place to hang out,” Mills explained. “We have been doing social content and bringing people to us, because it’s a chill space.”

Among the aforementioned “really good people” were Adult Time ambassadors Lauren Phillips, Siri Dahl and Leana Lovings — plus Alison Rey, a sought-after performer in her own right as well as Adult Time’s social producer, tasked with generating promotional material on-site in real time.

Gamble was also on hand here for part of the day, repping the brand with a dapper Adult Time jacket.

“I’m a Gamma Films contract person and I’m here representing Adult Time, one of their companies that I’ve been with now for almost four years,” Gamble offered. “We’re just here saying hi to fans, doing interviews, showing up for the company that we all love. It just feels like you’re in your living room with your friends! We can talk about ways to collaborate with each other. This company is all about figuring out ways that we can really elevate talent together — and each other.”

In between interviewing a parade of creators for Rey’s camera, redhead stunner Phillips took a moment to enthuse about her X3 experience.

“I got here and it was packed already! I’m super stoked to see everyone here, all the fans and everyone I know from work. It’s so impressive seeing such a great turnout for all of us! I was just talking to Seth about his ‘Reckless’ screening, which I made sure to attend. I got to learn how he views acting and directing, and how he does his job, which is very inspiring for me.”

Dahl joined the conversation to declare the Adult Time booth “the best booth in the whole expo!”

“Hello! We have a lounge, and we’re chilling and we’re making TikToks and I get to talk to fans who come by,” Dahl explained. “I can be very overwhelmed by crowds, but I love this — X3 makes it work. It’s a great event for creators. There’s a reason that I’m only doing X3 Expo this season. I love the venue. I love the space. I fly to LA especially for this and the other XBIZ events, and all of my fans know that they’ve got to get the tickets to come here if they want to see me. I’ve had a line just constantly since I got here!”

Back in the Champagne Lounge, the second screening of the day, Digital Playground’s military thriller “Machine Gunner,” got underway. Following the screening, director Ricky Greenwood was joined by stars Kayley Gunner, Kira Noir, Nicole Doshi and Damon Dice for a follow-up Q&A.

“I wanted to pay homage to action movies from the ’80s, with a mix of action and humor,” Greenwood explained.

Noir talked about the training that went into the filming process.

“I had a blast doing this!” she raved. “This was the first time I was ever on a movie with a stunt coordinator, so I had to learn how to throw people through tables, and smash bottles over people’s heads, shoot guns — that was incredible!”

Gunner, a U.S. Army veteran and former real-life machine gunner, discussed why the project was so close to her heart.

“For those of you who don’t know, the military is really important to me,” she said. “So this is one of my favorite projects that I’ve ever done since being in the adult industry. Ricky Greenwood crushed it. He was amazing, the cast was amazing. Leaving the set was really sad for me, because it felt like I was back in the military with my comrades. A team.”

Doshi talked about working on her first feature.

“I was so lucky to be a part of this,” she said. “It was my first time doing something so big, so of course I was nervous. It was so cold during the day when we were shooting, everyone was in these heavy jackets. But as soon as the camera was rolling, everybody was ready!”

On the event floor, piracy protection service BranditScan offered another star-festooned booth. Top talent and creators such as Natasha Nice, Lacy Lennon, Little Puck, AstroDomina, Cali Caliente and Ema Karter drew in fans and encouraged colleagues to check out the company’s special deals for onboarding content creators seeking to protect their valuable IP.

“Our booth is all about the community,” explained BranditScan Client Relations Manager Jessica Hookimaw. “Give them water, give them snacks, whatever they need — especially somewhere to hang out that is peaceful! We’re really proud to be here at X3 Expo offering creators free brand protection for a month. No one in the industry has ever done this. Our full premium plan is available for creators right here at zero cost — and we’re confident that after the first month, they’re going love it so much that they’re going to stick around. At the end of the day, we do what we do for the models. We love them. We exist for them.”

Nice testified, “I loved signing for BranditScan today. Their booth was so fun and had so much traffic, so I’m hugely thankful to their team. And I got to see Lacy again and take pics at their selfie wall with her! This edition of X3 is even better than last year — I barely stopped signing autographs long enough to take pics for my socials. My fans truly showed up and made me feel so special. I’m so thankful to each and every single one of them for showing me love and literally bringing me my flowers — and Red Bulls too. Amazing turnout!”

Up on the main stage, Dahl once again deployed her impressive interviewing skills, offering a revealing look at another of this year’s X3 Icons: Kendra Sunderland, the world-famous “Library Girl.”

Naturally, Sunderland retold her fabled origin story, to the unsurprising delight of the X3 crowd.

“I was camming and I liked to do a public show, and I wanted to do more than stick my titties out at a Starbucks,” she admitted mischievously. “So I went to my college library and I did a naughty webcam show there. And then later on, somebody posted it online with my full legal name, and then because of that I got arrested for masturbating in a public library! So that’s how I got here.”

Dahl asked her how much time she has spent at a library since officially becoming porn’s “Library Girl.”

“Not a lot!” Sunderland laughed, before disclosing that she actually went back to the scene of her “crime” for a calendar shoot.

Sunderland also shared some lessons learned and advice for fellow creators.

“I am my own boss, and I don’t have to do anything that anyone tells me to do,” she affirmed. “I can do whatever I want. And I think every person in this industry should feel that way. They should never feel pressured to do anything. And be yourself!

Heading downstage to meet and sign for fans, Sunderland stressed how thrilled she was at seeing her X3 Icon billboard in Hollywood.

“That just made me so happy!” she gushed. “I just love seeing the same fans that have come to see me year after year at the show. X3 is just more fun, and since it’s in LA, it’s just easier for the fans to come and meet us.”

Elsewhere, in the exclusive Brazzers lounge, contract star Noir reclined with some Liquid Death.

“This has been the biggest X3 yet!” she said. “It has been so fun getting to meet fans in the Brazzers booth, and I love that I get special time with the X3 VIPs. I think this show will just keep getting bigger and better. Capping off this fun weekend by celebrating the past year of incredible porn with the XBIZ Awards is the ultimate cherry on top.

A crowd of curious attendees filled the Champagne Lounge to standing-room-only capacity, eager to uncover the mysteries of “How Women Orgasm” in an intimate screening of the documentary-style Adult Time film.

After a brief introduction by XBIZ Managing Editor Alejandro Freixes, who described her award-winning repertoire and films, Adult Time’s Mills previewed the planned Q&A featuring the many cast members on hand, and shared some news.

“We will ask questions afterward to have a real self-pleasure session,” Mills promised. “Though you’ll have to watch the entire movie for the actual result! And we’re happy to reveal that starting next week, we’re officially turning this project into a podcast.”

As the featured performers watched each other answering interview questions onscreen, they laughed and offered words of support.

Afterward, the cast went up onstage and answered a variety of live questions from audience members. Lauren Phillips, Leana Lovings, Alexis Tae, Victoria Voxxx, Casey Calvert, Brittany Kade, Siri Dahl and more were on hand to provide illuminating advice on everything from how to communicate with partners who are missing the mark, to how to deal with the challenges of being on medication that inhibits orgasm.

By the front stage, Jennifer White and Lulu Chu held court, offering merch and enticing fans with the chance to snap photos together, as well as purchase signed posters, and movie titles from top studios like Evil Angel and Wicked.

“I’m so excited to be back at X3!” White said, hands on her hips and commanding attention in a revealing black outfit with mesh. “I truly love meeting and interacting with my fans. They really are the sweetest and so incredibly supportive!”

Chu, fresh from her own triumphant screening the previous day, offered, “X3 is an awesome opportunity to meet new people and interact with fans! I had an amazing time watching the screening of ‘Feed Me’ and can’t wait until next year’s expo!”

Lovings then sidled up in a comic-book-ready bodysuit, having bounded over from the Cosplayground booth, where she was receiving fans who love her gamer creds.

“X3 is something special,” Lovings said. “When you get onto the show floor and see all of your fans, all the companies you’ve worked for and all your fellow performers in one spot, it’s this feeling that everything you’ve done and everyone you’ve met has all led to this day. I’m happy to represent Adult Time and Cosplayground today!”

Industry powerhouse Ana Foxxx is a perennial huge draw with the fans, and she came ready to take no prisoners in head-to-toe Playboy gear.

“That’s the least I can do for them,” Foxxx confided. “There’s so many brands I represent, but Playboy gives me the most clothes so I don’t have to worry about how I get dressed every day! You know, I’m a simple person: they give me clothes, so I wear them. I love my bunny panties, shorts, shoes — even the earrings!”

Any brand that wants to have performers as ambassadors, advised Foxxx — a consummate businesswoman known for providing some of the best ROI in the biz — should be equally generous with its swag.

“If you want your ambassadors to rep your brand, give them the tools to do it!” she counseled.

Foxxx added she is always excited to be at X3 because it gives performers such an ideal venue.

“They look amazing!” she said. “The glitter, the ass, the titties — it’s fucking phenomenal. I’m very happy to be here once again, seeing all my fellow performers doing their damn thing.”

In the signing area, prominent spots were occupied by some of the most iconic veteran creators and performers in the industry, including Phoenix Marie, Vicky Vette, Tera Patrick, Romi Rain and other indisputable marquee names.

Marie shared her appreciation for the more intimate nature of X3 Expo compared with other fan-centered shows.

“We can really see who we share our fans with,” she explained. “For a lot of the LA-based talent, it’s a lot easier to be here than to travel to see fans, and they also feel more welcome here. The vibe is really more relaxed, which both we and the fans appreciate.”

Vette had complimentary words for the organizing staff and X3 Expo.

“I’m impressed, year after year after year, at how they always outdo themselves!” she said.

Displaying a vast array of her branded products, including custom-molded body parts, and promoting her influential creator network Vette Nation Army, Vette delivered a compelling pitch.

“What am I giving the fans?” she asked rhetorically. “Myself! I’m giving them my mouth, my ass, my pictures, my T-shirts, my beanies, my hats, my everything — most of all, my love!”

Vette heaped special praise on the X3 fans who turned out, and how they comported themselves.

“They are so well-behaved and respectful,” she said. “At some other shows, I was practically molested, and it really turned me off of doing shows for a long time! But because it’s XBIZ-organized, I’m here.”

Stage right, Grooby’s Kristel Penn talked about the renowned trans studio’s expo experience, as well some big news.

“Our big thing was to announce our 2024 brand ambassador, Cloudy Vi,” Penn shared. “And also to bring all our performers up to the stage, so it’s been really wonderful. We’re having so much fun! The fans have been great — the girls are all having a good time, the guys are all having a good time. It makes my heart so happy!”

Back onstage, Dahl was joined by Kira Noir, this time in her capacity as an XBIZ Icon, for the final interview of the event.

The two started by bantering about their intimidating, gothy outfits, before Dahl went on to rave about performing with Noir.

“I was just saying backstage, we’ve done one scene together, and it still lives on in my mind forever!” Dahl revealed.

“You shoved my face deep into your ass, and you kept it there, you held it there!” Noir replied. “It was beautiful.”

Dahl then asked Noir what inspired her to get into the industry.

“My favorite porn stars, before I got into the industry, were Skin Diamond and Stoya,” Noir said. “So I first started doing photo sets, pictures I took myself, and posting them myself, because that’s how they started. And it just blossomed from there.”

Talking about early lessons that she could pass on to new performers and creators, Noir discussed the importance of not being too much of a perfectionist.

“I learned to be way less critical of myself,” she said. “Whenever you have a job where your product is your body, it’s easy to fall into the trap of being really hypercritical of your appearance, your voice, how you interact with people — to the point where it’s not even beneficial anymore. I’ve realized that even if I’m not always my own type, other people like it.”

Dahl mentioned that she gets lots of questions from other female performers and fans about what Noir is like to shoot with.

“People always come up to me, and they’re like, ‘You’ve shot with Kira Noir! What’s she like? I have a massive crush on her!’” Dahl shared. “It’s all women, by the way, all saying ‘I’m so fucking gay for Kira Noir.’”

“That makes me so happy,” Noir responded, giggling. “If you are a gay woman, and you want to sit on my face, please fuck me!”

Out on the event floor, reigning XBIZ MILF Performer of the Year Reagan Foxx was signing autographs and posing for pictures with a long line of fans.

“I’m having a great time!” she said. “It seems like it’s more lit up this year, there’s a lot more people. The energy is a little bit brighter. I love it!”

She also talked about presenting at an awards show for the first time, at the XBIZ Awards later that same evening.

“I have never presented,” she said. “Mainly because I have a fear of speaking! I totally bombed my acceptance speech last year, so I’m hoping that presenting will help me with my fear of speaking in front of people.”

At her table in front of the stage, Chanel Camryn found herself hemmed in on all sides, standing on a chair while she discussed how much she was enjoying the expo.

“It’s fucking amazing!” she raved. “I’ve gotten to meet so many new people this year! I wanted to make lots of money while I was here, and I wanted to meet everybody, show face and have fun. These expos are always so inviting, and it’s really nice to see all of the performers together in one place.”

Over in the Champagne Lounge, Vixen Media Group was screening the final feature of the event, director Derek Dozer’s “Influence: Vanna Bardot,” starring the 2023 XBIZ Female Performer of the Year.

Following the screening, Bardot and Dozer took the stage for a Q&A that was quickly commandeered by a very enthusiastic fan.

“That movie is 4 ½ hours long?” the long-haired gentleman shouted from the audience after Dozer made an offhand remark about the length of the sex scenes. “That’s like a season of ‘Yellowstone,’ brother!”

Bardot talked about shooting the feature’s lengthy naked foot-chase scene.

“It was so funny!” she said. “I’m used to being naked on set, but to actually be running naked while everyone else is clothed was crazy. Shooting that chase scene took a long time, and it was already like 2 a.m. when I was chased into the van. It was freezing cold outside, but we had to get that scene done, because we had all those extras there and we were in a residential neighborhood. The doors were actually swinging open, back and forth, in the back of this moving van. All I could think about was how funny it would be if we were turning out onto the street and somebody happened to be going into their house and they see me, naked, in the back of a moving van. That would have been hilarious!”

“It would have been like ‘Jackass’ at that point!” the enthusiastic fan shouted. “A Johnny Knoxville stunt!”

Added Dozer, “She was hauling ass! She did all of her own stunts!”

“I actually pulled my back,” Bardot added. “I had to go to a specialist after!”

Outside in the main hall, even as things started to wind down, there were still big-name performers meeting and greeting the fans.

Perennial award winner and certified all-girl fan favorite Charlotte Stokely, one of this year’s four Hollywood billboard-ready X3 Expo Icons, sported her signature “Catherine Deneuve of porn” style, from her impeccable movie-star hair to her chic gown.

“Everyone is having such a great time,” she effused. “Everywhere I look, I see things that really stand out to me — and I mean both smiles and hard nipples! Honestly, I’ve also seen a few hard-ons, I’m not going to lie.

“I’m having such a wonderful time connecting with my fans and I’m so honored to be one of the X3 Icons,” Stokely continued. “I am so proud of my fellow Icon girls: Kendra, Violet and Kira. We’re a family, like sisters — but like horny, porny sisters! We’re even closer now because we have this wonderful memory and bonding moment to share together. I look forward to seeing who’s going to join us next year!”

Another fan favorite of long standing, Brittany Amber, was warming up the room with her contagious smile.

“Oh my gosh, I’m about ready to take some hot pictures with some hot fans!” she exclaimed.

Asked about what makes Amber so special, one of her fans blushed before his favorite creator and offered a shy, “She’s really down to earth.”

As the fan left her table, still ruby-cheeked from the affectionate exchange, Amber reflected on it as one of those sincere, special moments of connection that only X3 can provide.

“I do love what we just saw more than anything,” Amber said. “I’m so happy right now at my table! I have this permanent smile on my face, for the whole weekend.”

As X3 Expo reached its conclusion, the exhausted but satisfied throng of fans spilled back out onto Sunset Boulevard. The hugely successful event was finally at a close, and everyone walking out seemed to have a huge smile on their face.

X3 Expo Kicks Off With a Bang, Draws Record Crowds

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — An army of eager fans marched its way along Sunset Boulevard and through Hollywood in a line stretching several blocks, before being ushered into the historic Hollywood Palladium, where the resplendently decked-out cream of the A-list adult industry waited to greet them, chat with them, pose with them and show off the latest in content delivery technologies, as the 2024 X3 Expo kicked off on Friday.

This year’s opening day boasted the largest crowd in the history of the event, surpassing last year’s record by more than 50%.

Day 1 kicked off with the customary ribbon-cutting ceremony, featuring a star-studded lineup of top creators wielding the XXX-tra large scissors. Kira Noir, Natasha Nice, Kendra Sunderland, Charlotte Stokely and Mary Moody faced a throng of photographers lined up alongside Sunset Boulevard, aiming their lenses at the front of the Palladium.

Among the industry figures awestruck by the well-mannered pandemonium outside Los Angeles’ very own creator spotlight event was reigning XBIZ Trans Performer of the Year Emma Rose, set to co-host the XBIZ Awards ceremony on Sunday night.

“After such a great year, I’m so excited that my second time at X3 is packed with new fans and performers,” she said. “And I can’t wait to host the awards with the lovely Cherie DeVille. It’s history in the making!”

The stage event series portion of the expo commenced with the first of four “XBIZ Icons” interviews, led by Siri Dahl. First up was past XBIZ Girl/Girl Performer of the Year Charlotte Stokely.

“What inspired me to get into content creation was really the control over your own sexuality,” Stokely recalled, responding to Dahl’s opening question. “When you’re on set, working for a studio, it’s super fun — but you do what the studio wants you to do. When you’re a creator, making your own content, you can do what you want.”

Dahl also asked Stokely about her hobbies outside of the industry.

“When I’m not fucking girls or masturbating, I love playing Dungeons & Dragons,” she replied. “I’ve been playing for like 14 years!”

To which Dahl replied, “I love you! I’m also a D&D nerd!”

On the show floor, the center-front booth at X3 Expo was once again occupied by camming powerhouse Chaturbate, returning in full force with a high-tech horseshoe of streaming stations featuring the latest software, enabling a diverse array of the platform’s top broadcasters to interact with their fans both online and IRL.

Also returning to a coveted corner booth was Chaturbate broadcaster, creator and performer Alex Coal, unmistakable with her signature long black hair, matching panties and pasties — and nothing else.

“I love the corner booth because I can hang out with the crowd and also the people in my stream,” Coal revealed. “My favorite thing about X3 is how nice everyone is and how excited all the fans are to be here, because for a lot of them it’s the first time at an expo. This is the only one for LA fans, really. Also, a lot of stars show up here because it’s readily accessible — they already live or work here. If you want to meet your favorite porn stars, X3 is the way to go!”

As 2024 Best New Performer nominee Demi Hawks took selfies with fans while being cheered on by her popular Chaturbate stream, fellow broadcaster-cum-performer Millie Morgan, in a translucent emerald-green lace teddy, displayed her Stitch-worthy exuberance both on and off camera.

“It’s always a party at the Chaturbate booth, and my fans get so, so giddy watching me try to kiss as many hot girls as I can!” Morgan shared. “I love streaming at the Chaturbate booth because I can entertain my fans both in person and online while also deepening my friendships within the CB community.”

Alongside Morgan, fellow top cammer-performer Hime Marie chatted with fans, fellow broadcasters and scene partners, as her stream witnessed all of the proceedings.

“I’ve been attending conventions and working at the Chaturbate booth for almost seven years now,” Marie said. “The booth has all the resources that a streamer could want if they’re coming to the show. They provide us with power outlets, plugs, water, food, snacks — everything.

“I think that what’s so interesting about X3: it’s more of a creator environment,” Marie added. “Not only are there a lot of fans, but there are so many collaborative opportunities to be had among creators here.”

The broadcasters were assisted throughout the day by the dedicated Chaturbate staff, which also catered to the fans with an array of free merch and accessories, including branded bathing suits, thongs, unisex t-shirts, sweatpants, scrunchies and more.

“X3 is the perfect place for fans to come see their favorite Chaturbate broadcasters,” pronounced a rep. “You’re welcome to take pictures with them, get to know them a little better and have a real live experience.”

Over in the Champagne Room, Ricky Greenwood held an intimate screening of his XBIZ Award-nominated “Feed Me,” attended by fans, stars and Adult Time CCO Bree Mills.

Greenwood recalled, “When I gave the script to Adult Time, I was worried they wouldn’t let me do it because it’s very dark horror, but they’re brave and let me do it.”

After the packed event, Mills offered, “I love being able to explore the horror genre within adult. I think a lot of the fan subcultures come together with the genre and this industry. What I love the most about Ricky Greenwood is that he’s a fan of the films and filmmaking, so it’s great to support his vision.”

Meanwhile, out on the floor, performers and creators enthused about being back at X3.

“X3 outdid themselves this year,” said creator and entrepreneur MelRose Michaels. “Love every second connecting with friends and fans!”

X3 Icon Kendra Sunderland echoed Michaels’ statement.

“I’m so happy to be back at X3 this year,” she said. “Being in the promo and on the billboard was the biggest honor. Thank you to all the fans for coming out!”

Hailey Rose, speaking on behalf of herself and her partner Max Fills, declared, “We’re super excited to finally be here signing for X3! It’s a super-fun atmosphere so far and I’ve really been enjoying meeting all the fans.”

Siri Dahl once again took the stage as interviewer, this time getting comfy on the plush chairs and creating a sense of living-room intimacy for her chat with premium social media star and popular studio performer Violet Myers. The massive audience loudly voiced their adoration for Myers throughout the thoughtful and often humorous Q&A.

“What inspired you to get into adult content creation?” Dahl asked.

“There wasn’t representation for girls that look like me,” Myers replied. “And I watch a lot of porn! I just love sex and I thought, ‘I may as well do it because I’m really good at it.’ And the SFW content I also make is because I love blogging.”

Asked what lessons she has learned along the way, Myers cited financial responsibility as a big one, from investing wisely to building up her savings and buying real estate.

“I had to mature pretty quickly, especially since I grew such a big brand so fast,” Myers noted. “I love repping the anime community. I’m just a sexy perverted nerd.”

The audience hollered their approval, and Myers acknowledged her gamer and geek bona fides as a major reason why she commands such a loyal fan base. She shared how much she admired the original “Halloween” movie while growing up, and revealed that the character of Michael Myers actually inspired her stage name. She also copped to a crush on Shrek, saying she loves the meaning behind the movie.

“Would you fuck Shrek?” Dahl asked.

“Yeah, he has big-dick energy,” Myers affirmed enthusiastically, inspiring several fans to proclaim their Shrekness from the audience in hopes of winning her heart.

Back in the Champagne Room, director/writer/performer Casey Calvert appeared for a screening of a special SFW edit of the major plotlines for Season 3 of Calvert’s ERIKALUST polyamory series, “Primary.” She was joined by cast members Victoria Voxxx, Ana Foxxx, Siri Dahl and Derrick Pierce.

In a Q&A following the screening, Calvert and the cast members gave audience members the inside scoop on “Primary 3,” discussing the differences between this third and final season of “Primary” and its predecessors.

Foxxx, who played a leading role in all three seasons, shared, “My character evolved from being part of a happy couple in a polyamorous relationship, to taking on other responsibilities and learning what it takes to be part of that kind of relationship. You know, after a while, you don’t take no shit! Abigail took all the shit in Season 1, but she took no shit in Season 3!”

Calvert, the omniscient showrunner on “Primary,” quipped, “She decided, ‘I need my own shit.’”

Pierce chimed in, “I feel I was the catalyst for all of the shit! Everyone was always yelling at me!” The audience laughed appreciatively.

After sharing stories about the ambitious production — for which ERIKALUST empowered Calvert to shoot in landmark Southern California locations, including an entire “Western movie ranch” — Calvert and the rest of the cast then played a game, trying to predict what each of the couples and characters in the sprawling cast of “Primary” would most likely be doing after the finale tied off the daisy chain of their interwoven plots.

Calvert even hinted that, although she was ready to say goodbye to her fictional creations after four years chronicling their love labors, she may yet be game to revisit them at some point further down the line.

Calvert added that she was having “the most amazing time” at X3 Expo.

“I’m super excited to be here this year, signing for Cosplayground and screening my film,” she declared.

Also busy signing autographs was Carmela Clutch, living up to her name as a very literal clutch of excited fans descended upon her table.

“I am loving this!” Clutch raved. “I have never had such a great opportunity to meet the fans, get to know them on a one-on-one, personal level and be able to look them in the eyes. I love that. There’s no other convention like X3!”

Added Little Puck, “There’s nothing like the fun, intimate vibes X3 creates for us! I’m always so stoked to attend because I get to connect with some of the most beautiful people on the planet and meet some of the coolest fucking fans on Earth.”

Over in the Brazzers lounge, several stars took advantage of the oasis of relative quiet off the main event floor.

“I’m so happy to be here signing with Brazzers,” said Abigaiil Morris. “It’s such an honor to be contracted with them and representing Brazzers at X3.”

Past XBIZ Male Performer of the Year Mick Blue was also excited to be representing the hugely popular studio.

“It’s amazing to be at X3 again with Brazzers this year,” he said. “Every year, its’ a wonderful environment for us actors to meet and greet our fans in Los Angeles.”

Alexis Fawx concurred, saying, “I’m incredibly excited to meet all the fans at X3 this year at the Brazzers booth again. It’s always a blast! I love being a part of this great experience for the fans.”

Studio performers were not the only ones getting in on the fan action. Back on the show floor, creators were also seeing a lot of enthusiasm for what they were literally bringing to the table.

“X3 is as crazy as always, but I am saddling this wild horse!” said creator and recent Hustler Cover Honey Laura Desiree. “My goodness, this is one of those opportunities to really interface with the fans and wrap my arms around them. They keep me alive and motivated. I also love the other creators. There are so many people that we know digitally, but I just love the chance to actually see them in the flesh and experience them in the glory that is X3.”

Toward the end of the evening, the final stage event of Day 1 kicked into gear: the Breakout Creators panel, sponsored by ePlay, with seven of the hottest new stars in the business joining moderator Kazumi in front of the massive crowd.|

As breakout creators Zariah Aura, Queenie Sateen, Chanel Camryn, Kelsey Kane, Molly Little, Baby Gemini and Scarlett Alexis stood side by side, Kazumi worked her way down the line, first asking the assembled talent what inspired them to join the industry.

“I would say, embracing sex,” said Alexis. “I love that you’re your own boss, as well.”

Gemini pointed to “Wolf of Wall Street” protagonist Jordan Belfort’s book, “The Way of the Wolf,” as her inspiration.

“In the book, it says you can sell anything, and you should be mindful of what you sell,” she said. “I was doing door-to-door sales at the time, and I was like, ‘What the hell am I knocking on doors for, when I could just be selling myself?’”

For Camryn, it was a simpler equation.

“I’m from Alaska, and as you can probably imagine, there’s not a lot of dick there!” she quipped. “I like to fuck. I got a DM on Twitter to come to LA and shoot my first porno. Being the level-headed woman that I am, I took that offer immediately! And two years later, here I am, still fucking.”

Discussing her style of content, Aura said, “I love dominating people. I love tying a man down and going to town on him. I’ve got a big dick, too, so I’m able to use that to my advantage!”

Sateen talked about her artistic ambitions.

“Before I started making porn, I was only doing music,” she said. “I’ve always been an independent artist. Selling myself, directing my own music videos, all of that. I bring that experience into this. I’m just a weird art girl. I’ve written three original songs this year that have been used in porn, which has been really amazing. Incorporating all the things I love into one thing has been really awesome.”

As Day 1 of this year’s X3 Expo came to an end, a mass of happy fans made their way out back onto Sunset, jabbering excitedly, visibly satisfied with what was the most packed first day in the event’s history — and talking about how much they couldn’t wait to get back on the show floor for Day 2. Back inside the venue, the assembled industry luminaries seemed to agree, as happily bantering back and forth with each other about what a great time they’d had.
