LOS ANGELES — The highly popular X3 Cosplay Contest will return to X3 Expo this month, sponsored by cosplay and movie parody paysite Cosplayground.

The contest will be held Saturday, Jan. 20 at 3:30 p.m. on the grand X3 stage, and will be hosted by “Naked News” anchor and “Flex Appeal” host Eila Adams. 

Prizes include $1,000 cash, plus the opportunity to be cast in a big-budget Cosplayground original production in 2024.

Last year’s contest wowed fans with performers and creators strutting in cosplay based on comics, television shows, video games, movies, sci-fi and fantasy — including impressive homemade creations.
