Le Wand Rechargeable Massager Named ‘Best Vibrator’ by Good Housekeeping UK

Le Wand Rechargeable Massager Named 'Best Vibrator' by Good Housekeeping UK

LONDON — Good Housekeeping UK has selected the Le Wand Rechargeable Massager as its pick for Best Vibrator of 2023.

The Le Wand Rechargeable Massager received a score of 88 out of 100, and was featured in the article “Our Expert Guide to Buying a Vibrator.”

According to the publication, the Good Housekeeping Institute’s panel of over 100 testers “put a range of vibrators through their paces, assessing everything from cost to battery power, clitoral precision, size, weight, vibration speed and simply what feels good.”

“This sleek and stylish vibrator received a clean sweep of top reviews from all who tried it, earning it the enviable title of ‘best vibrator on test,’” wrote Good Housekeeping’s Priyankaa Joshi. “Not only were panelists able to climax faster than when using other toys, they also said this massage wand increased the intensity of their orgasms.”

According to the article, the magazine’s testers “found the silicone head felt beautifully soft on their skin and the rechargeable battery lasted for an impressive three hours — so your alone time won’t be cut short.”

“It’s on the larger side, but we would recommend making space in your bedside drawer for this one,” Joshi advised.

Kendra Lust Settles Crypto Touting Charges

Kendra Lust Settles Crypto Touting Charges

WASHINGTON — The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) issued a public statement today unveiling charges against eight influencers, including Kendra Lust, for “illegally touting” cryptocurrency assets without disclosing that they were compensated for doing so, or the amount of their compensation.

Lust was among the majority of those influencers who agreed to pay a total of more than $400,000 in disgorgement, interest, and penalties to settle the charges, without admitting or denying the SEC’s findings.

Lust told XBIZ she was not aware of how the law regulates touting until the SEC began its investigation.

“I would never intentionally deceive or try to harm anyone in any way,” she added.

The charges stem from an SEC investigation into asset entrepreneur Justin Sun and three of his companies: Tron Foundation Limited, BitTorrent Foundation Ltd., and Rainberry Inc. (formerly BitTorrent).

The SEC probed Sun’s unregistered offer and sale of crypto asset securities Tronix (TRX) and BitTorrent (BTT) and also charged the entrepreneur and his companies with “fraudulently manipulating the secondary market for TRX through extensive wash trading, which involves the simultaneous or near-simultaneous purchase and sale of a security to make it appear actively traded without an actual change in beneficial ownership, and for orchestrating a scheme to pay celebrities to tout TRX and BTT without disclosing their compensation,” the statement explained.

The influencers who allegedly touted Sun’s crypto assets included Lindsay Lohan, Jake Paul, Soulja Boy, Austin Mahone, Lil Yachty, Ne-Yo, Akon and Lust.

All of them except for Soulja Boy and Mahone reached a financial settlement with the SEC.

CamSoda Launches Adult Social Network Xfollow

CamSoda Launches Adult Social Network Xfollow

LOS ANGELES — CamSoda has launched Xfollow, a new social network specifically designed for adult models and content creators.

The site allows users to post NSFW content for their fans, as well as the ability to link to any other adult site they work with. Creators can also sell content directly through the site, with a promised 80% revshare.

“Everyday pornstars and adult models are locked out of their social media accounts or booted from the platform(s) they’re on,” said Xfollow Head of Models Molly Cavalli. “Not only does it inhibit their ability to interact with the fans and build their brand, it impacts their livelihood. Xfollow will be an amazing resource for the industry to help them thrive.”

Models already active on the site include Dani Daniels, Brandi Love and Kelsi Monroe, among others.

“I love engaging with all my adoring fans on social media,” said Daniels. “Getting blacklisted prevents me from doing that. It also hurts my earning potential. Xfollow is going to be amazing because we can finally engage with fans without having to worry about the consequences and potentially losing our social accounts.”

Pornhub Doc ‘Money Shot’ is #4 Most Watched Netflix Movie Worldwide

Pornhub Doc 'Money Shot' is #4 Most Watched Netflix Movie Worldwide

LOS ANGELES — Netflix has released viewership numbers for its documentary “Money Shot: The Pornhub Story,” revealing it has been streamed for over 13 million hours, making it the network’s fourth most watched film worldwide for its debut week.

Directed by Suzanne Hillinger, “Money Shot” offers a complex take on the Pornhub phenomenon through interviews with performers, activists, former employees and anti-porn crusaders.

Performers Siri Dahl, Gwen Adora, Cherie DeVille, Wolf Hudson, Natassia Dreams, Asa Akira and several others, along with FSC’s Director of Public Affairs Mike Stabile, helped Hillinger explore the history of MindGeek and Pornhub, controversies and all, through a refreshingly non-stigmatizing, sex-work positive lense.

The documentary debuted on Netflix on March 15 and is currently airing in over 65 countries. It has hit the Top Ten for the streamer in all of them.

“I’m quite happy with how the documentary turned out,” Siri Dahl told XBIZ. “Performers’ voices are centered in a way they never have been before in a documentary about our industry. The fact that it’s holding strong in Netflix’s Top Ten is amazing.”

Dahl explained that the feedback she is seeing from non-industry people online is overwhelmingly positive.

“I’ve had people from my personal life, who I haven’t seen or thought about in years, texting me to say my face popped up on their Netflix app, so they watched it, and learned a lot about porn from it,” she explained.

“So many people are having conversations about sex work and porn that they’d never have had without this film,” Dahl concluded.

Sexpert Dr. Susan Block Featured in Vice’s ‘Sex Before the Internet’

Sexpert Dr. Susan Block Featured in Vice's 'Sex Before the Internet'

LOS ANGELES — Dr. Susan Block, aka Dr. Suzy, recently appeared on episode five of Vice TV’s “Sex Before the Internet” series, discussing her experiences working on HBO’s pioneering sex-ed show “Real Sex” and the show’s impact.

The episode, titled “Sex on TV,” highlights Block’s participation on “Real Sex.” She went from making cameo appearances on a few of the very first episodes to being featured on “Real Sex 11” in 1995, and then again on “Real Sex 25” in 1999.

The “Sex on TV” episode opens with footage from “Real Sex 25” featuring Block’s signature monologue, which begins, “Brothers and sisters, lovers and sinners…” and discusses ethical hedonism.

That moment is followed by a present-day interview with Dr. Suzy, during which she states that “Real Sex” was “a sexual revolution — for television.”

“Sex on TV” also incorporates a “Real Sex 11” clip of Dr. Suzy broadcasting her live syndicated radio show from bed 28 years ago, juxtaposed with her present-day studio as she broadcasts alongside her husband and still helps callers with their love lives, sharing “sex… fun… wisdom.”

“HBO was the place to go for adult entertainment that was as smart as it was sexy in those spicy, sex-exploratory years surrounding the turn of the 21st century,” said Block. “In many ways, HBO’s ‘Real Sex’ was unprecedented in television history and unsurpassed ever since. It also happened to be open-minded, informative, educational, empathetic, relatively nonjudgmental, funny and a lot of fun.”
