Nalpac Acquires Entrenue, Cements Westward Distribution Expansion

FERNDALE, Mich. — Michigan pleasure product distributor Nalpac has acquired Scottsdale, Arizona-based adult specialty distributor Entrenue.

Entrenue’s Scottsdale warehouse, offices, and staff are included in the acquisition. The deal is part of Nalpac’s westward expansion.

“Our team is excited about the merger with Entrenue and their outstanding staff, who share the same commitment to providing the highest level of service to every customer,” said Nalpac CEO Steve Craig. “For Nalpac, this expansion supports our continued vision for growth across all sectors of the sexual health and wellness community. Joe (Casella, founder and CEO of Entrenue) spent years building a unique business that has become a one-of-a-kind distribution model transcending adult distribution.”

According to a rep, the merger will offer each company’s current manufacturing partners access to both distributors’ customer databases and product lines.

“I’m thrilled about the Nalpac and Entrenue acquisition and believe it’s an intelligent, prosperous synergy and win-win for all,” said Entrenue VP of Sales and Marketing Lily Wang. “Our clients will highly benefit the most with an expanded customer service team in different time zones and distribution centers for faster shipping in different regions. I’m personally very excited to work with the Nalpac team to build new relationships across all departments. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow more with a larger organization. Our teams will have access to new and different resources, tools, and expertise from all the successful team members.”

Nalpac Director of Marketing and Strategic Partnership Phoebe Grott echoed Wang’s enthusiasm.

“I had the opportunity to work with Joe, Lily, and the Entrenue team in my prior experience in retail, and I have immense respect for their special brand of service,” she said. “Both Nalpac and Entrenue have long-standing relationships in the industry and are aligned on values and integrity. I am excited to collaborate with the great folks at Entrenue to deliver the best services and assortment at the distributor level in 2023 and beyond.”

Casella spoke about his accomplishments with the company he founded 16 years ago and what went into his decision to sell his business.

“After 16 years of owning Entrenue, it is time for me to move on. I have accomplished everything I had in my sights during that time, including bringing pleasure and joy to millions of people, donating a ton to charity, improving thousands of small businesses along the way, and supporting the livelihoods of my dedicated staff every day,” he said. “I wanted to sell to an ethical team who had a proven track record of success, an excellent reputation and had impressed me over the years. After speaking with the Craig brothers from Nalpac, it was clear to me that they were my top choice. After hearing their story and what they did with Nalpac, never hearing a bad word about them from my peers, and seeing them included regularly by new suppliers about conversations in brand exclusivity, they stood out to me.”

He expressed his excitement about Nalpac’s future, and shared his gratitude toward his suppliers, retail clients, and staff.

“After dealing with [Nalpac] over the last several months in this deal, I see that I made the right choice. They are kind, have integrity, and have exciting plans to grow my baby…make that my 16-year-old. Thank you again to my talented suppliers, incredible retailers, and my dedicated staff, who happen to be my family away from home,” he said.

April Olsen, Damon Dice Co-Star in Midseason Finale of Seth Gamble’s ‘Privilege’

April Olsen, Damon Dice Co-Star in Midseason Finale of Seth Gamble's 'Privilege'

LOS ANGELES — The mid-season finale of Seth Gamble’s new series, “Privilege,” featuring April Olsen and Damon Dice, debuts today on Wicked.com.

Produced by Wicked Head of Production Axel Braun, “Privilege” is an eight-scene series showcasing narrative storytelling and an ensemble cast of noted performers.

Olsen plays the the youngest daughter of towering family patriarch Alexander Nash (Evan Stone), who rules his family with an iron fist but has a soft spot for her.

“Getting into the adult industry, I never once thought I’d be handed a real script,” said Olsen of her role as the seemingly innocent but whip-smart daughter. “But sometimes, just sometimes, the script is well-thought-out and cohesive, and there are characters you can really connect with. I always find it a delightful challenge to adopt a new character and try my best to bring them to life.”

Olsen credits director Gamble with giving her the guidance needed to hone the finer aspects of her performance.

“Seth is one of those porn performers who can truly act, so I was a little nervous to take his direction,” she shared. “I remember one tearful scene in particular that took me out of my comfort zone — no one made me cry or anything, it was literally just a crying scene — but that’s why I got into the industry in the first place: to challenge myself and experience new things. We ended the many pages of dialogue with a steamy sex scene, featuring a particularly handsome Damon Dice. Seth said I rolled my eyes at him when he interrupted our passionate on-screen lovemaking. If I did, it was only because I was in character — like a real actress.”

Dice praised Gamble for being meticulous with his craft and holding his performers to high expectations. “He has always pushed me to be a better performer and has really helped me develop my craft as an actor … I played a character that was very inquisitive and is trying to get to the bottom of the chaos and mysteries that are a part of the story’s plot.”

Gamble described the pairing of Olsen and Dice as “definitely one of the most passionate scenes in the movie — there was a real sense of chemistry and connection.”

Womanizer, We-Vibe Among Top 2022 Brands for Largest Swiss Pleasure Retailer

Womanizer, We-Vibe Among Top 2022 Brands for Largest Swiss Pleasure Retailer

ZURICH — Amorana, Switzerland’s largest pleasure product retailer, has published its ranking of top sellers for 2022, which includes toys by Womanizer, We-Vibe, Lovense and several other European market players.

The list was headed by Amorana’s own version of the popular advent calendar box set, combining a variety of pleasure products in a format designed to be opened day by day during the holidays.

“Even though they only came onto the market in September, the advent calendars are the top seller of the year,” a rep explained. “They are available in three models — Classic, Premium and Deluxe — with up to 32 surprises in the form of sex toys, accessories and lingerie.”

The rep added that the calendars are “ideal for singles who want to treat themselves, or for couples who want to try something new in the bedroom and where the fire is only on the back burner.”

Amorana also touted sales of the Womanizer DUO, “a favorite of many Swiss women,” the Arcwave Ion, the Womanizer OG, the We-Vibe Chorus, Lovense’s Lush, the Autoblow+ AI, the Orctan and the We-Vibe Vector.

According to the chain, although the Womanizer OG only came onto the Swiss market in November, sales “went through the roof.”

“The brand-new toy from Womanizer does not stimulate the clitoris like its predecessors, but the G-spot,” the rep explained. “The toy is nowhere as popular as in this country. We are clearly predicting a top-three podium place for this OG innovation for next year.”
