Wicked Wins 4 NightMoves Awards, Including Best Feature

TAMPA, Fla. — Wicked Pictures garnered four trophies at the 30th annual NightMoves Awards ceremony in Tampa last week.

The studio took home the award for Best Feature for Wicked Comix’ “Black Widow XXX: An Axel Braun Parody.” The same feature earned Seth Gamble the win for Best Actor for his role as Deadpool. Kenzie Taylor won the award for Best Actress for her role in the Gamble-directed “Deranged.” And the Wicked Noir imprint feature “Dark Is The Night,” from director/cinematographer James Avalon, won the NightMoves First Choice Award.

“It was such an honor to win an award for portraying Deadpool in “‘Black Widow XXX,'” said Gamble. “It is an amazing experience every time I get to play the Merc with a Mouth and I’m very grateful for that. Most of all I can’t tell you the emotions that went through me to see my wife Kenzie Taylor win Best Actress for ‘Deranged’ — not only did I put my heart and soul into this movie, but she did as well, more than anybody can really know.”

Taylor enthused about her win and the feature she earned it for.

“I’m so thankful and happy to finally get the opportunity to win an award for acting,” she said. “Winning Best Actress for ‘Deranged’ really means a lot to me. ‘Deranged’ was my husband’s first narrative series, and he not only directed, he also wrote the screenplay. It’s always an incredible feeling when your hard work is recognized.”

Avalon expressed his gratitude to his cast and to Wicked director and Head of Production Axel Braun in particular.

“It is such an honor to have won the NightMoves First Choice award for ‘Dark Is The Night,'” he said. “I had a wonderful time working with Axel, Seth, Kenna (James), and the rest of our cast and crew. I appreciate Axel letting me make a feature the way I envisioned it with such a great cast of wonderful actors, and I thank NightMoves for recognizing our hard work.”

For his part, Braun was “thrilled” by the evening’s results.

“It was a fantastic evening,” he said. “The NightMoves people really pulled out all the stops for this milestone celebration, and it was an honor being there to support them. I was obviously thrilled to bring home two more ‘Black Widow XXX’ awards, but I am ecstatic about Kenzie Taylor winning Best Actress for ‘Deranged.’ Ever since she starred in ‘Captain Marvel XXX,’ I have been blown away by her acting chops and her absolute commitment to every role she plays, and in this movie she really proved how talented she is.”

He continued by praising both Gamble and Avalon.

“While Seth Gamble winning a Best Actor award may seem like routine nowadays, it is always a great feeling to see him recognized for the hard work and unmatched passion he consistently puts in everything he does,” he said. “Last but not least, the trophy for James Avalon’s ‘Dark is the Night’ is very special to me, not only because it’s my first award as a producer of a movie I didn’t direct, but also because it really is a truly incredible movie that James wrote, shot, and edited masterfully, and I am rightfully proud of it.”

Nicole Sage Stars in ‘Sex Tape’ Promoting NYC Congressional Candidate

Nicole Sage Stars in 'Sex Tape' Promoting NYC Congressional Candidate

NEW YORK — Nicole Sage is featured in a “sex tape”-style adult video posted on Pornhub by third-party New York congressional candidate Mike Itkis.

Itkis — who according to all polls and observers has no real chance to unseat Democratic incumbent Rep. Jerry Nadler in Manhattan’s 12th Congressional District — posted the “hotel encounter”-style video today, in what local politics news source City & State New York called “a grunt for attention.”

The 53-year-old aspiring politician is seemingly not unfamiliar with propaganda work, as his public resume shows him as having a background in “Army cyber operations.”

The 13-minute video features Sage and Itkis, who told City & State New York that he meant it “as a conversation piece,” to highlight his commitment to “sex positivity, legalizing sex work and making sexual rights explicit” instead of just relying on privacy or free speech rights.

Itkis also claimed the Pornhub video was “his first time having sex on camera, and insisted he’s not an exhibitionist.”

“I’m very much an introvert,” he told City & State New York. “I’m kind of a nerd who doesn’t like to be the center of attention if I can avoid it. But I thought the issues I’m trying to address are so important — I wanted to have my issues talked about in some way.”

The leading Republican contender for Nadler’s seat, Mike Zumbluskas, told City & State New York that “you gotta do what you gotta do” to get press attention in New York races.

Sage — a performer with over 60 credits on her IAFD profile, including work for several top studios — posted the news item about the video to her social media without any comment.

Chloe Cherry Featured in New York Times Style Section

NEW YORK — The New York Times profiled former adult performer and rising mainstream starlet Chloe Cherry in the paper’s Oct. 8 Style section under its “Up Next” banner, which highlights up-and-coming figures in arts and entertainment.

In addition to noting Cherry’s age (25), hometown (Lancaster, Pennsylvania) and current living arrangements (a two-bedroom apartment in Hollywood with a roommate), the Times’ Alex Hawgood describes her as “an acting novice who made her TV debut in Season 2 of ‘Euphoria,’” where Cherry played Faye, “a wide-eyed, pouty-lipped girlfriend of a drug dealer who can’t seem to escape heroin and violence.”

“When I got the part, I still wasn’t sure if I had that great of an acting ability,” Cherry told the Times, adding that “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson “kept rewriting things,” to give her character more screen time.

Cherry declared herself “still so shocked by how big the response has been.”

The piece then describes her beginnings and career in the adult industry in terms unusually non-stigmatizing, given the paper’s record of platforming staunchly anti-sex-work voices.

Cherry’s life story, Hagwood writes, “is as heretical as any ‘Euphoria’ plotline. In 2015, days after turning 18, she fled small-town Pennsylvania for Miami to become a porn star. ‘I was obsessed with the adult industry,’ she said. ‘I looked up how to properly run away and learned that if you’re legally an adult and you leave a note, they can’t report you missing.’ After signing with a talent agency, she moved to Los Angeles, where she stood out in the pornography industry for making wacky Instagram stories.”

The Times also notes of the multitalented Cherry, “Her breakout role in ‘Euphoria’ has opened other creative outlets. This spring, she modeled in a campy ad campaign for Versace and Ssense in which she wrestled with a purse-snatching robot, and will appear in Steve Madden ads this fall. She is also creating art (her collages were featured in a Los Angeles art show in March) and hip-hop (she has posted three tracks on SoundCloud).”

Asked about the difference between mainstream and porn, Cherry offered, “For some reason, people will pay for Hollywood stuff, but they won’t pay for porn.”

Marie Claire UK Features Smile Makers' 'The Billionaire' Vibrator

LONDON — Smile Makers’ The Billionaire, marketed as “a chic vibrator for beginners,” was named this week by Marie Claire U.K. as one of the magazine’s “20 Best Sex Toys.”

Calling it “a high-end, luxury sex toy with powerful yet silent vibrations that is great for those who want to explore either penetration or external play,” Marie Claire’s reviewer and sexologist Ness Cooper noted that “as soon as I pressed the emoji patterned button (yep, love) on The Billionaire’s base, I was impressed by how powerful yet quiet the vibrator was. I liked that the toy was made from silicone as it glided over my body well.”

The Billionaire, a Smile Makers rep said, was designed to “redefine your pleasure ambition.”

Its “sleek and versatile shape,” the rep continued, “makes it ideal for tantalizing clitoral massages and throbbing vaginal stimulation alike, so you can spoil yourself with pleasure.”

Unlike “IRL moneybags,” the rep jested, Smile Maker’s The Billionaire “can’t take you to Paris for a long, expensive weekend away, but it can utilize its multiple speed settings to promote multiple orgasms.”

Sen. Manchin Pushes for Anti-Section 230 Snitching Mandate Targeting ‘Suspicious’ Content

Sen. Manchin Pushes for Anti-Section 230 Snitching Mandate Targeting 'Suspicious' Content

WASHINGTON — West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin has renewed his efforts to erode Section 230 liability protections by inserting his extremely controversial “See Something, Say Something” bill into the must-pass National Defense Authorization Act.

Manchin’s proposal “would force companies to file ‘Suspicious Transmission Activity Reports’ (STAR) for basically anything ‘suspicious’ they see online,” TechDirt’s Mike Masnick reported today.

Back in 2020, Masnick published a detailed analysis of Manchin’s “dangerous, stupid” mandatory snitching bill, which Masnick labels “a direct attack on Section 230.” Manchin is now attempting to graft the provisions of that bill onto the NDAA as an unrelated “rider.” The NDAA is the annual legislative authorization of resources for the entire U.S. military.

“You know how under the law right now, if a website finds child sexual abuse material, it needs to report it to NCMEC?” Masnick writes. “Well, this law basically expands that to, well — everything. See someone mention drugs? File a report! See someone slightly mean to someone else? File a STAR. See someone joke about a bomb? STAR. On and on and on.”

Should such provisions become law, the potential for abuse and lawfare is self-evident. Organized, well-funded groups as NCOSE and Exodus Cry could easily leverage the proposed system in order to further their mission of eradicating online pornography.

Masnick also points out that since Manchin’s proposal targets “known suspicious transmissions,” it could easily backfire and “actually encourage websites to take a less proactive approach to reviewing content, because they will claim that if they don’t look, they couldn’t have known.”

At the same time, since “See Something, Say Something” uses the “should have reasonably known” standard, platforms could be forced to litigate “whether you should have magically known about this bad thing found online.” Sites such as Twitter and Reddit, which tolerate adult content, and user-upload sites like OnlyFans and Pornhub, could expect to be challenged on such grounds by the same deep-pocketed anti-porn crusaders that have long had them in their sights.

Though nominally a Democrat, Manchin has become notorious for pushing back against his party and President Biden’s agenda, and using his tie-breaking vote in the Senate to advance positions more aligned with the Republican party and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.
