Jamie Jett Talks Orgies and More on ‘Two Girls One Mic’ Podcast

Multi-nominated adult film star Jamie Jett is the guest on the latest episode of the irreverent “Two Girls One Mic” podcast, hosted by Alice Vaughn, the (in)famous creator of Offensive Crayons, and adult star Kate Kennedy.

On this week’s episode, the trio discuss pole dancing, gym membership cancellations, latex, wedding dresses, porn makeup, Jett’s most unsettling porn set experience, the day Big Bird dodged a bullet, Mormons, adult conventions, and more!

“Kate and Alice are two of the sharpest people I’ve met in the adult world, so it was an honor to have the chance to chat with them on the show,” said Jett.

“We talked about my background in the group sex scene, specifically how logistically difficult it is to plan an orgy, and how different the swinging scene is from true orgy dynamics.

“We also discussed the re-opening of Exxxotica this summer, which was my very first adult convention! And it was fascinating to hear Kate’s perspectives on the AVNs — I had no idea how crazy of an event it is, since I’m still so new to the industry!”

Jett is currently nominated for Best New Starlet and Best Oral Scene in the 2021 Fleshbot Awards.

About Jamie Jett

Rising adult film starlet Jamie Jett’s passion for sex — and particularly group sex — drew her to the World of X while she was a pre-law university student majoring in Political Science.

“Sex is the #1 reason I’m here,” said Jett, who has been involved in the kink scene in her home state of California.

“I’ve always really loved acting, and I had always fantasized about doing porn,” the 21-year old with a sumptuous, all-natural 32C-24-35 figure added. “So when the opportunity presented itself, I knew immediately that this was what I wanted to be doing.”

The sought-after starlet quickly scored scenes for Naughty America, Hustler, Nympho.com, Tiny4K, Casting Couch-X, Swallowed, Cum4K, Passion HD, WetVR, Team Skeet, Nubiles, Jay’s POV and Girlfriends Films, and made her webcamming debut for Cherry Pimps’ WildOnCam channel.

Music is another of the up-and-comer’s true passions; in fact, famed rocker Joan Jett provided the inspiration for her nom de porn. “I’ve always been into the rock ’n’ roll and punk rock scene. I appreciate the boldness — it fits with my personality — so, becoming an adult performer is very on-brand for me.”

An enthusiastic newcomer with a ravenous sexual appetite, Jett says her short-term goal is “to be in a lot more foursomes!”

“I’ve never felt as at home as I have on porn sets. I love this job; it’s everything I’ve dreamed of.”

In the run-up to the U.S. general election, Jett talked with MEL Magazine to share her perspective on how proposed changes to Section 230 could “have a cascading effect, causing new restrictions” that affect the porn world and beyond. Jett’s self-produced video concerning the dangerous neo-Puritanism of the anti-porn #NoNutNovember campaign was featured in an article at InsideHook, where she also joined industry professionals for a roundtable conversation about ethical porn consumption in January 2021.

Jett was profiled in the February 2021 issue of AVN Magazine, available online here.

She was nominated for Pornstar Live Cam Performer of the Year in the 2021 Cammy Awards, Starlet of the Year at the 2021 Inked Awards, and is currently in the running for Best New Starlet and Best Oral Scene in the 2021 Fleshbot Awards.

About Kate Kennedy

Los Angeles-based comedian, content creator, porn pundit, and self-described “podcast slut” Kate Kennedy entered the adult industry behind the scenes, working in marketing and production for a year before stepping in front of the camera in July 2018. With girl-next-door good looks, acting chops and a personality to charm the pants right off you, she quickly became an industry favorite, racking up credits for major adult studios, as well as multiple award nominations, including a 2019 ‘Best New Starlet’ nod from NightMoves.

Kennedy fulfilled a lifelong dream and began performing standup comedy in 2019 at major Los Angeles venues, including the world famous Comedy Store. Her blend of sex and humor has made her a hit with comedy and porn fans alike, and she can frequently be heard dishing the dirty details of her porn career on podcasts and radio, including Your Mom’s House with Tom Segura & Christina P., and Dr. Drew After Dark

In June 2020, she was featured in a HUSTLER Magazine story on adult stars who also perform in the comedy world, and the following month, Kennedy launched her own perverse podcast, “The Kennedy Assassination,” in which she interviews men from the internet who really despise her.

Kennedy went on to host the “Cam Girl Chronicles” podcast, which dives into the world of webcam and features ladies from ImLive sharing their stories, and is currently the co-host of “Two Girls One Mic: The Porncast,” in which she and show creator Alice Vaughn discuss the holes and the plot holes of your favorite porn.

Kennedy and her OnlyFans were the focus of a March 2020 New York Post story examining the silver lining some sex workers and their fans have found as people in self-isolation seek to escape the new reality of the coronavirus. In April, Kennedy discussed the ways in which online sex workers are innovating and adapting in the crowded, post-COVID-19 online pornosphere in a HUSTLERMagazine.com feature, and in June she spoke with Men’s Health about how OnlyFans has changed the face of the adult business.

In September, Kennedy shared her perspective on whether celebrities are ruining OnlyFans for sex workers — “The Bella Thorne Effect” — with Playboy, and penned “Porn Stars, COVID and Side Hustles” for HUSTLER.

Also in 2020, Kennedy was honored by the 10th Annual Spank Bank Awards in three categories: ‘Most Likely To Become The Cirque de Soleil’s Performance Masturbator’; ‘Puppeteer of the Year (Best Hands/Fister)’; and ‘Fucking Nerd of the Year.’

Kennedy hosted the 2021 YNOT Cam Awards live on-stage at Avalon Hollywood on October 14, 2021.

Porn Set Horror Stories That Double as Life Lessons

Porn Set Horror Stories That Double as Life Lessons

In the spirit of Spooky Season Mashable asked 10 performers to share their top on-set horror stories with us. Some of their tales, presented below, are truly terrifying and downright disgusting, while others are just rather ridiculous. But most contain nuggets of wisdom that may help anyone, industry insider or civilian (sex inevitably goes off script for all of us at some point), avoid or navigate similar mishaps.

Porn Set Horror Stories That Double as Life Lessons

Kate KennedyI do standup comedy as well as porn. I got booked for a comedy show at 7 p.m. one evening, but then I also got booked for a short blowjob scene about 35 miles away, with a call time of noon. I was sure I had plenty of time to do the scene, get cleaned up, and make it to the show. But when I got to the set, I found out that the production crew was shooting multiple porn scenes that day and mine wouldn’t begin until 3 p.m. After an hour or so, I started to get antsy. I explained my situation — that I needed to leave by 5 p.m. at the latest — to the cast and crew. Luckily, another girl with an earlier scene was willing to trade spots with me, so I was able to begin my scene early, and it was going swimmingly despite the countdown clock in my head.

Then, when we’d almost finished the scene, something went wrong: I was on my back with my head hanging off a couch while this dude pounded the absolute fuck out of my throat. He pulled out, so I thought I had time to swallow the mouthful of spit I’d accumulated, and that I was now gagging on. But as I had my tongue at the back of my throat, ready to swallow, this dude slammed his cock back into my mouth, hitting my tongue from below. Boom. Blood everywhere.

The force had torn the frenulum that connected my tongue to the bottom of my mouth.

We called cut, and I frantically tried to stop the bleeding, but to no avail. So, I decided to finish the scene with my tongue held down and pressed up against my teeth to keep the blood from spilling out; my scene partner came in my face instead of in my mouth. Then, I cleaned up as fast as I could and drove to the comedy show with an ice cube under my tongue. I did an entire standup set that night with a very noticeable lisp. I mostly remember trying not to spray the audience with my tongue blood. But I still got laughs, and everything ended up being fine.

But that day, I realized I probably needed to keep my porn and comedy lives a bit more separate.

Kate Kennedy Returns to 'Danglin' After Dark' Podcast

LOS ANGELES — Standup comedian, content creator, porn pundit and self-described “podcast slut” Kate Kennedy is the guest on this week’s “Danglin’ After Dark.”

Kennedy sits down with host Dick Dangle to discuss “her visit to Pittsburgh, TV shows, her beloved dog, Squeegee, her comedy and feature dancing, penises, and much more,” noted a rep.

“It was so awesome to return to the ‘Danglin’ After Dark,'” the performer said. “And even more fun because we got to do it in person for the first time ever.”

“I loved getting to chat with Dick about everything I’ve been up to in the past year since retiring from mainstream adult movies, including OnlyFans, comedy, podcasting and more,” Kennedy added. “We had a wonderful chat and it was awesome catching up. If you’ve been curious what I’ve been working on since the pandemic, definitely do not miss this episode.”

Dangle described Kennedy as “one of the nicest and most interesting people to talk to.”

“It’s like getting to hang out with a good friend. She’s got a way about her that no matter what she’s doing, you are completely enthralled,” he added.

Kate Kennedy to Join Pair of YNOT Summit Panels Next Week

LOS ANGELES — Kate Kennedy will lend her experience as a performer, comedian and entrepreneur to a pair of virtual panels at the upcoming YNOT Summit on Wednesday, July 7 and Thursday, July 8.

The Wednesday panel, at 12 p.m. (PDT), is titled “Building Your Marketing and PR Plan” and will feature “adult entertainment experts discussing the importance of an effective marketing plan that looks past products and services to focus instead on your audience,” a rep explained.

Kennedy’s second YNOT appearance, Thursday at 12 p.m. (PDT), is “Reaching Your Customers Directly” and will explore the use of social media, podcasts, email, blogs and other methods to effectively develop and manage a customer base.

“I’m thrilled to have been invited back to speak at the YNOT Summit,” said Kennedy. “Passing on what I’ve learned throughout my career in adult to new performers and content creators is a huge passion of mine, and I think it’s so wonderful that YNOT provides such an excellent and accessible platform for adult industry professionals to network, learn and grow.”

“The two panels I’ll be speaking on this year concern building one’s brand, a topic I’m very passionate about,” she continued. “My life before porn also contributes to this passion; I graduated in 2016 from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Advertising, where I focused on digital brand strategy and social media marketing. The adult industry is like online marketing on steroids: a hyper-competitive, saturated market that can sometimes feel impossible to carve a niche within.”

“I’ve found that by applying what I learned in school, while being true to my vision and myself, has led to much success in my career, and I’m very excited to share what I’ve learned to hopefully help others on their own journeys,” she added.

What People Get Wrong About Ethical Porn, According to Performers

What People Get Wrong About Ethical Porn, According to Performers

What we talk about when we talk about “ethical porn,” and if we should even be talking about it at all

This is the third and final installment in a three-part series on ethical porn consumption in the aftermath of last month’s Pornhub controversy. Previously, industry professionals shared their insight on the best ways to pay for porn, and how to tell if the porn you’re watching was ethically produced. In this final segment, performers from various industry backgrounds address the biggest misconceptions surrounding society’s understanding of ethical pornincluding who should be having those conversations in the first place and whether or not so-called “ethics” is something people outside of the industry have a right to police.

InsideHook: What do you see as the most common, or biggest, misunderstandings about what it means to be an ethical porn consumer? What do you want to make sure viewers understand?

Kate KennedyI don’t think most people think much about ethical porn consumption to begin with. Even the staunchest social justice warriors I know look at Pornhub for free. It just doesn’t cross their minds to think about the implications of what porn they’re getting and how.

[People also get hung up on the idea that porn is only ethical if performers feel great about every piece of content they’ve made.] Every performer in every realm of entertainment has at least one performance they didn’t feel great about. Porn performers sometimes take scenes they might not otherwise be super horny for personally because, at the end of the day, this is a job. Everybody goes to work on days when they’d rather do something else. Within the context of capitalism, equating ethics with willingness to perform a given task for an agreed upon rate is nonsense. If you want to see me, as a person, getting off exactly how I please, then enjoy some footage of me emotionlessly masturbating with my Hitachi with the occasional groan.
