LOS ANGELES — New sexual wellness brand Mila has raised $2.5 million in pre-seed funding.

According to a report on Forbes.com, the female-founded brand’s funding round was led by Mensch VC, with participation from Sticker Ventures and angel investors and advisors from companies including Spotify, Dyson, Tetra Pak, and BrewDog.

Founded by Kim Aviv and Ada Trujillo, the company’s portfolio includes Aura, a four-in-one “intimate wellness device,” and Bloom, a hydrating, gliding mist.

“We spent 18 months developing Aura and worked alongside leading engineers to rethink how pleasure technology could better support women’s experiences,” Aviv told Forbes. “Rather than simply iterating on existing technology, we focused on creating patent-pending stimulation methods designed to address the earliest stages of female arousal. Every design decision was driven by extensive research, testing, and feedback from women.”

Added Trujillo, “Across every product, our philosophy is the same. We invest heavily in research and development because intimate wellness should receive the same level of care and innovation as every other category in beauty.”
