Brooklyn Gray Is Twistys’ ‘Treat of the Month’ for April

Brooklyn Gray Is Twistys' 'Treat of the Month' for April

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ Award-winning Brooklyn Gray is the newly crowned Twistys “Treat of the Month” and has received a spotlight shoot from director-photographer Eva Gala.

A rep described the honor as “a crowning achievement” for the performer “after a stellar year of exceptional performances, one of many more to come.”

“She is a true talent, and a deeply passionate performer. Her ‘Treat of the Month’ showcases her background in acting, dance and singing, set in the dark, sultry-grime of a DTLA warehouse,” continued the rep. “Brooklyn juxtaposes grunge with striking radiance and grace, dancing amidst silks in a smoke-suffused room; then, restrained, bound in bondage by merlot-hued ribbon. Lastly, she enlivens the warehouse’s desolate confines, wearing no more than a corset; a myriad of wing-like fabrics billowing from her torso. Brooklyn brings a vivacious tenacity to all her projects, and leaves you feeling full, but wanting more.”

Gray thanked the studio for the recognition.

“Twistys has given me the chance to show the world a little more about who I am and showcase myself in a very honest way, which means so much to me,” she said of her showcase. “It was grimy; it was exhilarating; it was edgy, and chic. The crew was phenomenal. It was a lot of hard work and these scenes set the tone for the quality and body of work I’ve yet to create.”

Gray also noted she is now under new management.

“I’ve worked so hard to get here, and this is just the beginning,” she noted. “I’m now self-booking and have cultivated a phenomenal private management team who truly believe in me and see my maximum potential; I am so blessed to be working alongside them. The world is about to see what Brooklyn Gray is really about.”

Emma Hix Named Playboy Plus ‘All Star’ for April

LOS ANGELES, California — Emma Hix has been named the April 2021 “All Star of the Month” by Playboy Plus. She is the third model ever to receive such accolade, following Emily Willis (February) and Harley Dean (March).

The Canadian model, a rep explained, “adds Playboy Plus ‘All Star’ to an ever expanding list of industry acknowledgments, which have ramped up over the past year and now include Penthouse Pet (May 2020), Nubiles ‘Flavor of the Month’ (November 2020), Holly Randall’s ‘Bombshell of the Month’ (September 2020), Team Skeet’s first-ever ‘All Star’ (January 2020), Twistys ‘Treat of the Month’ (June 2019), Cherry Pimps’ ‘Cherry of the Month’ (November 2018).”

“Cementing her reputation as one of the adult entertainment industry’s hardest-working talents, the Playboy Plus honor represents a special dream come true for Emma,” the rep continued.

“I’ve always wanted to shoot for them,” Hix confided. “When I heard they had started shooting adult models, about a year ago, I started secretly wishing I’d get that call. ‘You’re gonna be on Playboy’ is the call every erotic model dreams of. And on top of that, they just started the ‘All Sta’r program, and to be the third one ever feels pretty special to me.”

Playboy is “kind of what got me into erotic modeling,” Hix said “Growing up I always dressed up like a Playboy bunny — I wanted to be a bunny so, so bad. If I saw a Playboy shirt, I’d always get it. It’s such an iconic brand, and I always wanted to be a part of it.”

Hix revealed she liked is that “all the women were presented in a way that was so empowering. They looked so confident, beautiful, classy, strong.”

“Hugh Hefner was an icon and he treated his girls like gold,” she added. “You could feel the models were respected and elevated. That’s what I found really attractive about Playboy.”

A Spring-Themed Collaboration

The All Star photo shoot was “a true collaboration” between Hix and photographer Jay Chu.

“The shoot was the product of a long back-and-forth between me and Jay,” she explained. “I initially told them I wanted an outdoors shoot: I’m Canadian and therefore super outdoorsy — it’s my natural environment.”

“April is traditionally the Coachella Festival month, so we decided to head out for the Palm Springs area, which is one of the most beautiful outdoorsy backdrops I could hope for,” Hix said. “We became inspired by the desert spring vibes — there’s a whole Coachella inspiration with body jewelry and cool festival looks that the awesome makeup artist Rosalinda made happen. But I also added a little Canadian touch by incorporating a cowboy hat and boots.”

Chu explained, with the pandemic, the usual spring and summer music festivals have been cancelled.

“So I thought it would be cool to create a visual narrative of a young woman going to one of these festivals,” he said.

The first look portrays Hix in a classic Palm Springs backyard motif — hanging out at her backyard bar, lounging in the pool, getting a tan. The second look is a stylized visual of the model as a festivalgoer hanging out in her camper. And the last look is Hix hiking up to a desert overview.

“We knew what Emma would bring to this shoot, which is why I wanted to cast her,” the photographer said. “She brought an energy and an enthusiasm for the work which made the day go by so easily. It’s not often you get to work with a model who really knows how to work with the camera. And Emma knew exactly what I was looking for.”

“She absolutely nailed it,” Chu concluded. “She embodied the concept perfectly.”

An All-Day Shoot

The shoot took all day, with the team driving out into the desert at 6 a.m. and not returning until late in the evening.

“I don’t care what we have to do to shoot, as long as it’s outdoors,” Hix offered. “It worked out perfectly, though, because it looks so good. People will be talking about this pictorial as a highlight of my career. We got it right, as we should — I mean, it’s Playboy.”

VerifyMyAge Offers AV Solution to French Adult Market

VerifyMyAge Offers AV Solution to French Adult Market

LONDON — VerifyMyAge (VMA) has announced an age verification solution for the French market following the recent announcement by the Conseil Supérieur de l’Audiovisuel (CSA) demanding that all French adult sites immediately implement age verification.

A failure to comply carries a threat of closure, as XBIZ has reported.

“Sites integrating with VMA in France will instantly ensure that they can quickly and effortlessly verify the age of their end-users, without compromising compliance. A successful age verification can take just seconds,” a rep explained.

“The VMA solution maximizes convenience and privacy by making the widest possible choice of methods available; including AI age estimation, ID scan, credit card, name and address, mobile phone and even email address,” continued the rep. “In addition with VMA, once a customer has been verified, they will not be required to do so again on any other site that also partners with VMA. Even users in incognito mode are able to click through to other sites without reverifying whilst in the same active session.”

A VMA spokesperson said the company is “absolutely delighted to be offering our solution to the French market.”

“Our mission is to frictionlessly and securely verify 100% of 18-plus end users, and we know that anything less is unacceptable,” continued the rep. “The CSA’s recent demand, combined with the EU-wide Audiovisual Media Services Directive (AVMSD) legislation, makes it clear that any adult-content site available in France will now need to implement an age verification solution. We are ready to help.”

“It is also our understanding that paysites will be included within this new legislation, and it is almost a certainty that the rest of Europe will follow suit very soon,” the rep added.

Broadway Records Releases Soundtrack to Heidi Fleiss Musical ‘Little Black Book’

LOS ANGELES — Broadway Records is touting today’s digital release of “Little Black Book,” the soundtrack for the new musical based on the life of famed “Hollywood madam” Heidi Fleiss.

“Before OnlyFans and dating apps, there were madams,” noted a rep.

“The soundtrack features many of the biggest female stars from Broadway including Tony Award-winner Alice Ripley, ‘Hamilton’ star Mandy Gonzalez and Diana DeGarmo from ‘American Idol,'” the rep said.

Additional stars include Orfeh, Jessica Vosk, Brittney Johnson Vonzell Solomon, Kuhoo Verma, Samantha Pauly, Natalie Weiss and Lillias White.

“Co-conceived by Will Nunziata and Billy Recce and developed as a one-woman rock concert, ‘Little Black Book’ is a sharp-tongued, raucous and ultimately moving 90-minute ride. Through 11 pop-rock songs, the show examines a woman who was stripped of everything she worked for by a ruthless tabloid press and an unforgiving society,” continued the rep.

“Little Black Book” is produced by Nunziata, Recce and Lloyd Kikoler, and Executive Produced by DGM Productions with Scott Humpal.

“Heidi Fleiss developed a brand of upscale prostitution that had not been seen before,” Recce explained.  “She became a mother figure to sex workers, many of whom had been kicked out of their homes and families. She gave them guidance, safety, a roof over their heads, and by making them the most sought-after girls in Hollywood, she allowed them to feel pride in the work that they were doing.”

Nunziata said Fleiss “brilliantly redefined and revolutionized the sex industry.”

“In ‘Little Black Book,’ we give her the opportunity to showcase her ‘boss lady’ qualities,” he continued.   “The show also depicts the vulnerabilities of a woman who has the strength to forgive, survive, and ultimately heal. It offers a sympathetic reconciliation through a modern lens.”

The track listing follows:

  1. “Opening (Heidi)” — Amanda Lopez, Sarah Kleist Lauren Robinson
  2. “Little Black Book” — Mandy Gonzalez
  3. “Streets of L.A.” — Jessica Vosk
  4. “My (Much, Much Older) Man” — Brittney Johnson
  5. “One of the Girls” — Kuhoo Verma, Lillias White
  6. “Enterprise” — Orfeh
  7. “No Sympathy” — Vonzell Solomon
  8. “Pandering” — Samantha Pauly, with Amanda Lopez, Sarah Kleist Lauren Robinson
  9. “Serial Fuckup” — Diana DeGarmo
  10. “Cage Song” — Alice Ripley
  11. “Summer in Nevada” — Alice Weiss

“In many ways, Heidi Fleiss is an American Eva Peron,” said Recce. “So, while we wait for theaters to re-open, it only made sense to follow the lead of Andrew Lloyd Webber when he developed ‘Evita’ and share our musical tribute to the Hollywood Madam with audiences, no matter where they are in the world, and offer a first taste of ‘Little Black Book’ through its songs.”

Anti-Porn Crusaders NCOSE, Exodus Cry to Brief Congressional Staff Today

WASHINGTON — As part of their “Dismantle Pornhub” campaign, leading religiously inspired anti-porn crusading group NCOSE (formerly known as Morality in Media) will hold an “online briefing for U.S. congressional staff” today.

This propaganda briefing is co-sponsored by a handful of other anti-porn organizations, including the Exodus Cry ministry’s “Troffickinghub” campaign, overseen by high-profile anti-porn crusader Laila Mickelwait.

Mickelwait has repeatedly taken credit for Nicholas Kristof’s December 4, 2020 New York Times article “The Children of Pornhub,” which kickstarted the most recent, ongoing War on Porn campaign with the admitted aim to “destroy” one of the industry’s leading tube sites.

The Looming Shadow of Kristof’s Tendencious NYT Article

According to NCOSE, the propaganda briefing “will provide a concise overview of evidence related to the criminal behavior of MindGeek, owner of Pornhub.”

“A December 2020 New York Times exposé, ‘The Children of Pornhub,’ revealed the rampant sexual abuse of minors on Pornhub, an online petition has garnered over 2 million signatures to shut down Pornhub for aiding sex trafficking, and multiple class action civil lawsuits have been filed in the U.S. and Canada on behalf of sexually abused children and trafficking victims,” NCOSE boasted during their own announcement of congressional briefing.

“In response, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit cards rightly cut ties with Pornhub,” NCOSE added.

The lobby formerly known as Morality in Media — founded by clergy in 1962 to ban any books that referred to sex work — mentions U.S. Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Calif.), Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.), Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.), Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) as having “spoken out condemning” Pornhub.

“Furthermore, Canadian Parliament’s House of Commons Ethics committee has launched an investigation into MindGeek’s complicity in mass sex crimes,” NCOSE said.

A One-Sided ‘Debate’

“The United States is by far the number-one consumer of Pornhub, the corporation has offices in the U.S. and has servers in America,” NCOSE claimed, asking the congressional staff to help “dismantle Pornhub” and end all pornography.

According to NCOSE’s definition of “pornography,” this includes magazines like Sports Illustrated and Cosmopolitan, and any content dealing with sex whatsoever.

MindGeek “must be shut down shut down by dismantling the four pillars of Pornhub’s infrastructure,” NCOSE concluded.

Neither U.S. Congress or Canada’s House of Commons have allowed sex work advocacy groups or adult industry trade groups to be included in the ongoing debates about adult platform liability for third-party content.

Jamie Jett Stars for New Concept Site BannedStories

Jamie Jett Stars for New Concept Site BannedStories

LOS ANGELES — Newcomer Jamie Jett stars in the latest fantasy scene from BannedStories.com, a site featuring stories deemed too revealing for mainstream social media platforms.

The videos on BannedStories.com are shot vertically, designed to “deliver the best adult user experience on a mobile device,” noted a rep.

“BannedStories is the perfect site for this cultural moment,” said Jett, “because it twists the dilemma of censorship on social media platforms into an opportunity for a new, cheeky type of porn.”

“It feels like a piece of sassy performance art, re-sexualizing the format and content that social media companies are working so hard to de-sexualize,” she added.

“I especially loved this scene because it reenacts the naïve girl walking on to an adult film set for the first time, and I’m still new enough to XXX that I still feel that thrill,” said the LA Direct-repped model.

PornFilmFestival Berlin Adds New ‘Sex Tape’ Self-Produced Category

PornFilmFestival Berlin Adds New 'Sex Tape' Self-Produced Category

BERLIN — Organizers of the 2021 PornFilmFestival Berlin and Berlin-based independent production company Vitium have announced a call for entries for a new festival category, titled “Sex Tape,” in response to what a rep described as “an overwhelming amount of DIY content being created by amateurs and professionals at home in the past year.”

A judging panel will include Sean Ford, Rebecca More of the Cock Destroyers, Billy Vega and reigning XBIZ “Gay Performer of the Year” Max Konnor.

“The evolution of XXX content and what that even means will surely be evolving to a space that’s more and more about entertainment and escapism in addition to getting off,” director and Vitium co-founder Matt Lambert told XBIZ about the formation of the new category. “From innovative XXX dance films to greater representation than ever before, the XXX space is rapidly evolving — in large part due to the democratization of the creation and distribution process. We wanted to shine a light on this work and see what the next step of ‘home content’ is.”

Mainstream artists Juliana Huxtable and Jordan Firstman will also serve on the selection committee.

“Jordan and Juliana are both people who intrinsically understand sex and sexuality in a digital space — their identities are intertwined with it and have both been pioneers, respectively,” said Lambert. “XXX content is culture and everyone consumes it.”

Films submitted for consideration must have been created in 2020 or ’21 and run between 3-10 minutes. The deadline is April 30. The festival will unspool October 26-31.

“The ‘Sex Tape’ category celebrates first-time filmmakers, self-shot films by pros and people who are generally pushing boundaries in the world of OnlyFans and similar platforms,” a rep explained.

“The winning filmmaker will receive a cash tip of €500 as well as mentorship from the Vitium team on their next XXX film project,” noted the rep.

Click here for complete submission rules.

Vitium was formed by Lambert and producer Jannis Birsner. Lambert’s recent short film “Pleasure Park,” a collaboration between Men.com and the Tom of Finland Foundation, was included in “Tom of Finland: Master Cut,” a 2021 XBIZ Awards nominee for “Gay Movie of the Year.”

The filmmaker’s first foray into adult was 2018’s “Flower,” a collab with Helix Studios.
