LOS ANGELES — Sexual education advocate Stephanie Zapata is launching a series of virtual workshops on sexuality.

The series, S.L.A.M. (sexuality liberators and movers) After Dark, will run from December 12-15 and will feature workshops themed around communication, self-pleasure and sexual liberation, among other topics.

“Gift yourself the experience of becoming a self-centered learner, prioritizing your care, sensuality and satisfaction,” said a rep. “Whether you identify as a beginner or an expert-level lover, we welcome you to join an intentional community of individuals committed to exploring and celebrating their pleasure.”

BROOMFIELD, Colo. — Eldorado Trading Company raised thousands of dollars with its 15th annual Thanksgiving fundraising campaign, which collected donations of food and money for Community Food Share, a Colorado nonprofit that provides food to hundreds of local families and senior citizens in need.

Eldorado employees contributed $1,647, which was matched by Eldorado CEO Wanda Garland for a total donation of $3,284.

Eldorado’s donation will help to stock Community Food Share’s mobile pantry truck, providing enough food to feed 200 families for a week.

“One in 10 Coloradans worry about where their next meal will come from,” explained a rep. “The annual Community Food Share drive is a cherished Eldorado initiative. Every dollar donated to Community Food Share helps provide $5 worth of groceries.”

Garland called the annual drive one of her favorite Eldorado traditions.

“It provides the opportunity for us to serve our neighbors,” she said, adding that community partnership and education “helps to bring awareness to the ongoing challenges of food insecurity.”
