SAN FRANCISCO — The organizers of the San Francisco PornFilmFestival have announced the official slate for the event’s 2023 edition.

The festival features in-person events broadcasting live from the Brava Theater, August 18 and 19, as well as online programing Aug. 16 to 27.

The screenings are powered by streaming adult platform PinkLabel.TV.

The festival is a multigenerational celebration of the industry’s history, and a look forward to the innovations of today’s adult filmmakers. Attendees can look forward to in-person and virtual screenings, socials, filmmaker chats and a collection of thought-provoking erotic and adult films.

The collection of 69 titles, a rep noted, “present an erotic smorgasbord with something for everyone, in a wide assortment of films exploring sexuality, spanning experimental to documentary.”

This year’s festival features a fresh line-up of films premiering this year, as well as a look back at classic LGBTQ+ movies.

“This year also sees a trend coming out after the initial wave of the pandemic isolation — group sex scenes!” the rep enthused.

The festival closes with BIG/BANG, a curated who’s who in contemporary porn-making around the world.

Coinciding with the announcement of the festival’s official selections, organizers also launched the festival’s annual fundraiser, offering VIP and presale tickets, limited-edition t-shirts, PinkLabel.TV gift cards and big sponsorship packages.

The fundraiser, the rep said, “allows the international filmmaking community and its biggest fans to play a major role in supporting the event by helping to secure theatrical and virtual production expenses, and importantly, ensuring artist payment.”

LAS VEGAS — Lauren Phillips is nominated for Newcomer Feature Entertainer of the Year at the 2023 Adult Nightclub & Exotic Dancer Awards (ED Awards), set to take place on Aug. 22 as part of the 30th annual Exotic Dancer Expo in Las Vegas.
